Thanks for the guide, but rather than do all the command prompt stuff, just get the program called GFS, it has a gui and it works with sound effects unlike the other SAAT gui program thats related to this one.
Also, my siren sounded like crap until I decided to experiment and split the stereo track in audacity into a left and right, then mono'd them both and saved as wav. (still with 16bits, can't be bothered testing 32 bit)
at 5:42 u pressd the up button and copied the "CD C:\progran files... and then u pasted... well i did that and it faild just like yo udid... then you just pasted "saat_sfx -e audio\SFX\GENRL c:\temp\saat audio\CONFIG\BankLkup.dat" and pressd enter and it workd... well wen i paste "saat_sfx -e audio\SFX\GENRL c:\temp\saat audio\CONFIG\BankLkup.dat" and press enter it doesnt work... :(
@madnessexpert did you copy the Files listed in SAAT manual to the right directory, there were two or three files that came with the download of SAAT, they should have been placed somewhere. I current do not fool around anymore with GTA SA, you might want to check another tutorial. Or go through the manual slowly.
@Kenster1025 make sure there are really no spaces. Also don't type in the ^z that I had accidentally placed at 6:15, just copy and past the commands into the command prompt, and change directories to GTA SAN Andreas Main Directory.

What do you mean when you change sample rate around 8:30 ish I didn't notice anything change just the .wav file name?
