So what is the connection? The video makes no sense as to why the caracter is being used. The artist is relatively unknown and the label is super small. I have to figure that somebody at the label or in the band is related to or is close friends with McConaughey. Kind of cool, but would have been way cooler if they gave some context to the character's presence, like placing it in the Emporium, instead of what could be any lame LA hipster bar.

The reason they chose the dazed and confused movie to represent is because the movie has just celebrated its 20th anniversary, the song is about in Butch Walker's own words "the song lyrics really relate to just about anyone who has a hard time moving on with the changes that life throws at you" so, since in the move McConaughey has a hard time moving on from the whole "high school scene" the song was MORE THAN PERFECT. and the connection is an amazing connection
