I can still receive calls and texts but no longer make them because I cannot see a damn thing!

This is a great phone (When it works) BUT it is always breaking. I suggest if you buy it that you buy the extended warranty so that its under warranty the whole time you have it till your contract is up and it is time your carrier gives you a new one.

I have got this phone it loks and and feels great and is satisyingly heavy and feels well made but you can't personalise your message alert tones you have to use the deafult ones.One big flaw is that the phone sometimes turns off when you slide it down (anoying if you need to text or call as turning on takes ages). hope this has been helpfull

This was the worst phone I had ever owned(had it 1 year), it made me want to kill myself. Call quality was terrible, soo bad I could not understand anyone and no one could understand me, camera made people look ultra-pale like ghosts even if you had a dark tan you still would look like youve never seen the sun before, if u droped the phone more than 2 inches the back would fall off, on top of that it freezes. with my new nokia e71x, I hear everyone perfect, fixed all problems, LG sad sad phone.

Because I could not list all my problems in part 1 the screen is also impossible to see in sunlight, the charger made an awful whine sound(like a old TV) so I could no longer charge my phone when I slept. The battery life was absolutely pathetic compared to other good quality phones. The joystick is so bad you must use it for spacing while txting(with no wait) which causes u to sometimes click it hard and send a incomplete txts, then people say wtf. PISSED ME OFF SOO MUCH *&%Y$(*@#

This phone is nice but theres hardly any good features on it at all, no image editing(at least on mine) txt messages always seem to get mixed in with older ones, for example if someone sends me a txt older messages will send as new ones.. and then half the new message will be in another msg.. its quite odd.. maybe its just my phone, im gonna sell it though ive gone off it so much

AT&T tried to say I dropped it and I never EVER dropped that phone and there was no water damage so...yeah.

Other than that, it's a great phone, one of the best cameras too.

Yes, there is the slide one wich has a scroll botton like this one and the new one has a ''joystick''. The is also the LG Shine 8700 which is a Flip phone (thats the one I have)

It is is a really good phoen but the only problems are thats the battery runs out fairly quickly, the volume is not loud and the screen is a scarth/fingerprint magnet. My screen has hundreds of scratches...

The other problems are that outdoors when you get the sunlight on the screen, it is impossible the see what you are doing

*the front smudges VERY easily

*texting on it is hard

*the track it slides on can get dirt in it easily so it gets jammed up

Danger **** The blue tooth in the first generation Shines doesn't work ... This is a known problem from LG. "Telus five Star in Airdrie" would not honor this problem so we had to pay $400 to get a new shine. Blue tooth allows your phone to use a headset or connect to your computer. I wouldn't get a Shine to start with. I have one, and the Shines have a major problem with the screen going out. The ribbon in the phone that connects to the screen comes lose and when you slide open or close the phone, it will go black and you have to restart the phone to get it back. Do not pick a slide phone!!! The slide phones are notorious for this problem.
