My God! Thank you so much for this vid! I swear, I've been racking my face against the keyboard & the net trying to get this info to no avail! Many, many thank!
first of all video was awesome. thanks for making this easy for me also what am i doing wrong. I am adding fb logo and placing link. How do i hide the link so that only the facebook logo shows and they click on fb logo to go to fb
@kamador1968 Hmmm, not sure on that. You should just place the logo...then click on the logo...then click the chainlink icon and create your link. It sounds like you might be skipping the step of clicking on the logo, before placing the link, if I'm understanding you correctly. Hope that helps.
I dont' see any html there!! You are just using the Gmail text editor and other email functionalities.
I'm looking for a way to use my html email template to insert into gmail. This is not html template. This is just an email template created inside gmail!!
@krhood123 Unfortunately there isn't a work around. Sorry if my title was misleading...this was the best we could do to mimic the creation of an HTML template. As far as I know, Gmail does not accept HTML directly.
And i am using google chrome so is it the browser i am using the reason it wont let me click on the image to hide the link on the social networks ? Please respond
@OFFICIALDJDX Hi there, I'm sorry I'm not quite understanding...I must need some more coffee. I don't think the browser should matter...Google's should work better than any, since it is a Google product (in theory). But you could try it in Firefox and see if you get any better results.
is there a way that you can tell why i cant clcik on the images to hide the link to make it appear on the image so they can click. Its not clicking the image
@sigrone Hi there, thanks! I had that happen to me too after I created the video, but just a couple of images. I just uploaded them to Gmail again and they've worked since then. I think its when you use them from your own website and then cut and paste a canned response to another canned response (or another Gmails canned response)...if that makes sense. Hope that helps.
@lynxtovid That was exacly what i was looking for. It was a little bit tricky wen trying to embed individual images broken in a table with Fireworks :D
After I created the canned response TEST, I compose & add TEST. But there is no image .. just message that says 'inline image2'
Plse help & advise
