Don't know where you get your info amigo but this oar fish was pulled out of the sea of cortez in Los Barriles Mexico and it wasn't caught the only time you will see them is if they are sick or dead they come to the surface they are a deep water fish.

If it's a fake photo it looks pretty good. The only problem I have is that the "fishermen" are from Sweden. But they are wearing shorts and snorkel gear.
