@kagokadae: Yes, please do not point the laser directly into your cat(s) eyes as it does emit some laser radiation that could be dangerous to both humans and pets.
'Bella" (my baby in photo) has a similar automatic laser toy from Petcetera ($20) but she "per-ferrs" to play only with a laser pointer I got from a dollar store - you guessed it for only $1!

i gotta get one......cause the manual laser pointer i have makes my finger hurt, holding down the button. and my cats love the laser light

its great but I need longer than 15mins I have so many cats its great fun though what an invention and I am happy with it

I would have one of these. I would want it to be set on a timer so it would start at points during the day when I was at work. :)
