@ru42 so that explains the different fireworks used!!! thanks 4 da clip i only saw this show when i was 3 and now im 15 and the worst part is i didnt even see it by the castle or anywhere nice i saw it wjile on the disneyland railroad and i cant believe i remember but anywayz thanx!!! :D
Thank you so much for posting this! We go to Disneyland all the time, its I guess you could say a family tradition. Anyway, this was my little sister's favorite fireworks show they ever did. She passed away last year, and this always reminds me of her. So thank you for posting this and helping me to feel closer to my baby sis =) I miss her so much....
This would be a lower budget show. If Disney Can't Afford Dreams Come True every night this is a good secondary Show in it's place. Or Fantasy in the Skies. Dreams Come True costs $30,000 every night but Magic in the Stars $20,000 per night.
@Daniel2131990 The problem was that this show was replaced due to neighbors complaining on the high amount of low level pyro=smoke near their homes, that's why now DL hardly uses the nine line
I was little when this show was going on so I never waited in front of the castle, like I do now, but I loved the soundtrack and always waited for the music fromTarzan and Hunchback of Notre Damm....When I was there once and it wasn't going on I was sooo disappointed and almost cried...
I really love this fireworks show, Fantasy in the Sky, Wishes, Remember Dreams Come True, and hopefully I'll love Magical! Just as much... disney never seems to be too off key with their parades and fireworks music at least... and Yes, I do love Eureka! ;)
I thought (2000-2003)Believe... there is magic in the Stars was replaced with ( 2004-2005 )Imagine... Fantasy in the Sky then Remember premiered in May of 2005 for Disneyland's 50th Anniversary so I believe
I love it. This is my fave disney fireworks show. ieven have the soundtrack on my phone. y can't disney bring it back when i can afford to go to Disneyland and wath it.
Well, that is an easy one. It is called "Believe...there is magic in the stars." It was the theme song for the show. I do not believe the song was ever released as a solo piece but I could be wrong. - - RU
I remeber this show i was 7yrs old when i last saw it and that made me have the most magical day and that was my first firework show and we were in front of the castle it was so amazing I thankyou so much for bringing me precious memories and making me remember why i am a disneyland fan for that magical feeling BY THE WAY GREAT JOB AND I LOVE YOUR DISNEY VIDEOS!!!
Wow, I only remember seeing this show once, but even after 4 or 5 years, I still remember the song. I was humming it to myself a few weeks ago, and not remembering where it was from, then I found out and had to look to see if someone had it on YouTube, and, I wasn't surprised to see you did.
I still believe in magic, and I hope I never stop.
Thank for your great message! This was a very special show. Just as a public service announcement: you can get this video in true DVD quality from my site members*cox*net/ru42 (replace the * with .) Again, thanks for believing! - - RU
Ohhhhh, I loved this show so much. Of course, after four years, it was time for it to go. I remember hating the sound of the woman's voice singing the song (I liked it so much better at the end when the kids sing), but now I sure do miss it. Don't get me wrong, I think "Remember...Dreams Come True" is the best show Disney's ever had, but I have fond memories of this one.
This video is comprised of several angles so it was shot over several days. But yes, the footage did come from the final week of performances and does indeed contain footage of the very last showing of this show. -_ RU
Oh my gosh... This firework show always made me happy yet sad each time I went to Disneyland. It always made me believe that wishes were true things that could happen... Of course, this is one of the best videos that I've seen of this firework show.
I never had the oportunity to watch it at DL :( because by the time I went it was replaced by Imagine but I always loved it and I'm still loving it, it would be nice if they replace Wishes at WDW with this, it would raise the bar
OMG! i remember this show when i was growing up i used to love watching this show! i loved it so much and then after 3 years of not going to disneyland we got an annual pass and i was like wth is remember dreams come true... but i love both. i wish they played this firework show again like on a specail occasion!
I don't understand why everyone thinks Disneyworld is better than DISNEYLAND. Don't you people understand that DISNEYLAND is the ORIGINAL of all Disney parks?! DISNEYLAND is where it all started....nothing is BETTER than the ORIGINAL.
THANK YOU!!!!!! i went to disneyworld and its really not all that great..i mean it looks pretty and all but what it has in quantity it lacks in quality...disneyland isnt as big and pretty but it more than makes up for it with its quality
@BorEdZz and they also say is better cuz its bigger so if thtas true ! our disneyland fantasmic is better bcuz BIGGER and REAL boats?? lol they contredict themselves
Wishes is done in the same format. They both start with a child singing, then the good guy part of the show, followed by the bad guys, and then it ends with a beautiful finale. This is a great fireworks show, but I must adimit, Wishes in Florida is a better show.
I believe this is before wishes, the "Remember Dreams Come True" uses a somewhat of a fantasy, at least a play on, the "Wishes" theme, so I'm led to believe that it came out the same time as Wishes. I believe this show coexisted with the show Fantasy in the Sky, which was like what, seven minutes long?
you said it! comparing this to Remember Dreams Come True, i think this focused more on the disney classic movies while the newer one focuses on the classic disney attractions.
I love that show. It's so sad that it's been replaced. Granted, the newe one is fantastic too but I miss this one! When I was little I was on Dumbo and up in the air flying when this show began. I saw tink when I was up there too. I LOVE DISNEYLAND!
Wow, I remember seeing this with my band in 6th grade when we went for Magic Music Days, the year of Disneyland's 45th Anniversary. Thanx for posting this!
omg.. i remember watching this when i was 13, im 18 now, but i mean honestly moments like this people would forget easily. disneyland really is the greatest place on earth.
I remember watching this show with my friends during magic music days with my band in high school. I have the cd of this music and when ever I listen to it I remember that moment everytime. Thank you.
wow, i forgot what the castle looked like before they made it ver for the 50th. i remember seeing this show when i was 14....5 years ago! its so beautiful, makes me cry!!!! i love the 50th fireworks too though :)
I remember watching this in June of 2000. I thought it was the best fireworks show that Disneyland had done until that time. But now there is no comparison to the Remember...Dreams Come True fireworks show. That is truly the best fireworks show ever!
was this premere day or a regualar cuz in the other clips the show is slightly different and not as good as this one!!!
