I saw the acoustic version of this song when they played in Stockholm couple of years ago and it was incredible, it felt like the whole crowd lifted off the ground.
However.
If I were given the opportunity to go back in time to see just one performance this would be it. Intense. Haunting. Overwhelming.
it's just a beautiful song regardless of the version. i saw the acoustic version at sasquatch and i was mesmerised - it was so moving. live, i'm sure this one was too. like heidigretel, i like both versions!
i love the casual shirt and jeans hes wearing compared to a suit and blue eye liner these days. he seems much more nervous here than he does in more recent shows, the way hes holding the mic
Wow.
Just imagine all the raw emotion Mike Mills must be pouring into this.
So rough and so beautiful at the same time.

Kurt Cobain's guitar that Courtney gave to the band. Mills is playing it.

WOW. This is fantastic. I have always wanted to see this performed live. Mills is wailing away on that jagstang, good lord.
Could you upload this whole show? I've never really seen any Monster Tour videos.
