After some umming and erring I decided to give one a go. A local retailer had them (Same as net price) so I bought an EVOlution intellicig starter pack . I did kind of expect to be dissapointed but I was pleased with it, For a test (Cough (Pardon the pun) ! ) I went to a local pub for 2 beers thats when I most crave a cigarette. I quite happily sat drinking my pint and using the intellicig No Problems. I could only get the white one which looks a bit toy/fake/j(just me?)

Black one looks better.

Hi Scott, Thanks for all the reviews mate. Just got mine today. Good but a shame the "hit" isn't a bit stronger (rolled my own with Golden Virginia baccy and a tip). you will probably find that the throat hit will increase after a day or 2 of use........sometimes atomisers need a while to break in.

also throat hit can also be improved by the strength of e-liquid.......the higher nicotine content, the stronger / harsher the throat hit.

id say that 90% of the different e-liquid flavours available have no smell what so ever. the only ones i find that do have a slight scent to them would be the cigar flavours and a few of the fruit flavours.........but even then, they produce a nice smell that only lingers for a matter of seconds :)

Ey mate, i have a quick question about this one. How is the vapor and the smoke after a couple of months of usage ? I mean, does it still produce a good amount of smoke as i saw in the beginning of the clip or ? :)

hi mate,

with ALL electronic cigarettes the atomiser (which heats up and creates the vapour) needs to be replaced on average every 3 - 5 weeks to keep it producing a really good amount of vapour.

but atomisers are very cheap so its no big deal...............less than a box of cigarettes! :)

yes, you can add glycerine to increase vapour but i very rarely do that personally. if you take long controlled inhales like i do then you can get plenty of vapour with just regular e-liquid :)

I was quite fond of this device until I called customer service because a battery, which had been charged about five times, stopped working, as had the previous battery. I jhave spent around £40 with intellicig, yet they refused to replace the battery because it is out of the crummy 30-day warranty period. well battery life will vary from person to person depending on usage. the evo atomisers need to be broken in before they really start producing a good amount of vapour............kinda like running in a new car engine.

yes, the 2 min shut down is very annoying but can easily be avoided once you get used to the cut off time.

but im sure you will be happier with the titan though :)

(though you should have gone with the tornado like i suggested! lol)

i find that a cartridge is roughly the equivalent of 4 cigarettes. rather than buying more carts its far more cost effective to purchase a bottle of e-liquid and refill the carts yourself :)

the shorter battery can last anywhere between 3 and 5 hours depending on usage.

lol, does it stop working for about 2 minutes and then start working again by any chance?

if so, it means you have taken a drag that is longer than 5 seconds and activated the 2 minute shut down feature on this model. its annoying, but designed to protect the atomiser from over heating.

try and time your inhales to 4 seconds.........it soon becomes second nature!

each cart is about the equivelant of 4 cigarettes.............but you can buy the e-liquid (in many different flavours) and simply refill them yourself. buying e-liquid and refilling your carts is extremely cost effective...........you can get a 30ml bottle of e-liquid for around £17.00 / $20.00 and that will give you around 200 cigarettes worth of vaping! :)

a duracell AA battery is the same length as a cheap standard AA battery but we both know what one will last longer! lol

i guess the manufacturer just chose better parts.

remember though, battery life will be dependant on how heavy you use it personally.

give a good long charge for the 1st time and then after that it should just need charging for around 2 hours.

if your battery is empty but the green light comes on very quickly then ignore it and still charge for 2 hours...........the chargers indicator light are not always very accurate! lol

id go for the EVO. it has better battery life than the RN4081 and produces good vapour. when you 1st get it the vapour and throat hit might seem a little weak, but after a day or 2 of use it really comes to life! :)

i got one of these the other day from a pharmacy in Bury it was 29.99 and the carts were !!!£6.99!!! for 5 which is very overpriced when the website sells 10 for £6. Anyway maybe i've been hammering it too much but I find I am going through 5 carts a day! I used to smoke 20 a day but have only smoked one or two recently. I also found the first carts I bought didnt work I got about 5 puffs out of them then they stopped working so i took them back. I bought more recently and they were fine.

when not in use the battery is in a stand by state. it only uses the battery when you actually take a drag.

depending on how heavily you use it, it is possible to get 5 - 6 hours use out of a single battery. if you are vaping non stop then battery life will be less!

you should not get any burning as there are no flames or burning involved and yes, 1 cart is about the equivelant of 4 - 5 cigarettes.

the only e-cig i know that is smaller than the Evo is a DSE084 which is the exact same size as a regular cigarette. ive reviewed it recently so check it out!

continue: the Intellicig. 1. It was cheap. 2. It gives a good throat hit (8) and I fill it up with nicotine from totally wicked. I was very suspicious at first and people think I'm nuts, but I smoke it and ppl notice it! Most think I am smking air or somthing. the taste is very similar to a real cigarette though not exact. but you can buy lots of different flavoured cartridges and e-liquids ranging from marlboro to chocolate!

You should try it. Smokeless tobacco in a box, wich you stuff up under your upper lip. It's not very known outside Scandinavia.

First of all, "Snus" is an norwegian word. I think "snus" is "snuff" in english, I'm not sure. But "snus/snuff" is a mixture of tobakko leafs chopped up in a fine brown much with many harmful substances. It will not harm your lungs, but it will give you canser and bad mouth hygiene.

Snuff goes up your nose (gawd 'nose' what damage it does up there - pun intended), if you use it in your mouth it can rot your teeth and gums, it can give your mouth cancer.....which is a BIG NO NO in your life and also with women !

did i say hate? i guess hate is a bit of a strong word as the 901 is a good e-cig, it just doesnt do a lot for me in the looks department. granted, the black evo doesnt look like a real cig but it does look soooooo nice! when i 1st started using e-cigs i always wanted them to look like real cigs but now im a bit more exprienced i dont really care what they look like. performance over looks is more important to me now! you ought to see the things ive been vaping recently!! lol

I have tried a few brands and over all the intellicig evo is better than most of the ones Ive tried. They seem to be very reliable and the battries last long. Fairley priced too. In comparison the smoking everywhere original is horrible doesnt perform well and is overpriced.
