i am an infamous fan and i think prototype is decent at best. But Prototype was in the works since the original xbox and ps2 were at there prime. Infamous was only in development for 3 years. But even then look what they accomplished what prototype could not. Prototype is for the people who son care for story but pure action. While infamous isn't gory its story line is 10 times better than prototype and story to me is a major must for games. In the end it just comes down to personal taste.

This game is Prototype and The Force Unleashed set in some weird universe. The main character is Alex Mercer with lightning, jumping over cars and surviving huge falls (I don't understand how lightning keeps your legs from shattering when you jump off of building). Prototype is fun for people who like to go around and destroy because it has free-roam, but this one just seems lame.

I didnt get bored playing Infamous. I only played for like 3 days but I got to the against the world mission, I think thats near the end, because I cleared all districts and everything, but then I got pissed cause you have to destroy these air balloons, I did the first couple, and the guys like theres more, but theres no building high enough to jump on them from, tried for about an hour on one balloon, following it everything, NO buildings high enough.. So I quit. But not because I was bored.

This games seems graphically better than prototype, but many I get such a bigger rush watching prototype. The running at 50+ mph, the adaptive urban running seems much faster, the free falls, the pounding of the ground as if you weighed two tons, just epic.

All of that aside, it looks like it's gonna be pretty cool. I'll probably wind up getting both this and Prototype, just because the mechanics in each are going to be somewhat different.

My reasoning for there being so many xBox fanboys was that they were too impatient for the PS3 to come out. But I think 2009 is the year that the PS3 is gonna dominate. With games like MAG, Quantum Theory, DC Universe Online, Under Siege, Fat Princess(It sounds more fun once you read into it), Uncharted 2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and many others, the xBox 360 is gonna have a run for it's money (And I purposely spelled xBox with a small x)

The Resistance story was amazing, it's just a game that doesn't appeal to idiots, fine by me, just makes the online that bit harder :O.

Racers aside - we have "Trophies" now, admittedly a 'Rip-off,' yes, but that extends the longevity of the games. You can't say Warhawk has no replay value, considering it's multiplayer only and I've racked up 400 hours of online play alone. If you want Graphics, just look at Uncharted/GT5. And if you want physics, R2. Something for everyone.
