An audio interface with ASIO drivers helps a lot but you can obtain excellent results using onboard sound with ASIO4ALL drivers on Vista or 7 (thanks to the WaveRT compatibility of the Realtek chip that should be inside your netbook).
Such a combination should DRASTICALLY improve the whole thing.
Feel free to try BloXpander Demo 1.2.0 which just came out yesterday ;-)
Note: activating BloXpander's multicore support should not really improve results on a netbook.
hey, i have a netbook and was lookin to run EZdrummer/Superior drummer... does it work well? hows the latency?
