  • you want a spinal tap 37 with a notch 11

  • England. Land of the thrash!

  • A hate to ask, what country is this?

  • nice turbo charger!!!

  • i sign these 37s, and boy i love driving them, notch 0 to 8 in seconds

  • I've always wondered - in the cab - what's the round dial thingy, in black with the little inward facing yellow triangles all around it???

  • @05111605 Thats the AWS. There is a buzzer that goes off when you go over a yellow ramp type thing between the tracks. Also this dial goes from just black to black and yellow.

The AWS goes off when you are approaching a yellow (doube, or single) or a red. it's designed to make sure you are awake, and paying attention. if you don't cancel it within some really short amount of time the brakes are applied and the locos comes to a stop.

  • @matthewt1501 - magic - Thanks! I know that information will never be of any use! But thanks anyway...!

  • always had trouble seeing out of those loco's as a kid

  • cool video...

  • Nice vid! Like the sound of the turbos spooling up

  • Somebody needs to kill that fly at 2:15.

  • it wants some cab action;)

  • There were loads of flies in the cab when the loco was started up, and plenty of them where in the engine room aswell...

  • Yuck. At least you don't have bees, Yellow Jackets and Wasps. One our cannibilized coaches has an entire nest. We call it "Bee Hive Rail Car".

  • Hellfire vid mate i plan to do the same very soon, im suprised they didnt give you a bollocking for thrashing it up to 8 back in the days of there normal service it was seen as "Irrisponsible and dangerous" personaly i think its bloody good fun!
