  • Guys gave him his FIRST felony, people he had problems with. Fake people. He had the gun because of THEM this man didn't HAVE that record.Everything he says is very truth and also his case is WHY the Constitution should be the FINAL say on the matter. That should be that. The 2nd amendment should be the ONLY thing that matters on the debate for guns that should be it!.

  • @xWindShadowMothx No felonies cause some trouble makers he had problems with offered snitch to get him locked up for a year he did NOTHING but work and had it messed up. If he called the police on them it would have wrecked his career, his money, his reputation AND the police would have done NOTHING he HAD to handle things HIMSELF.This wasn't government that did this...this was POLICE, acting on behalf of his enemies. Fake shit.

  • @xWindShadowMothx I make no apologies its like this. If you get a call about somebody working hard, makes music about working hard "Get up at the God hour to make beats" ok, and they tell you about a weapon. This man has no record...THATS suspicious to me. That would make me wonder, ok yeah about the weapon; but also about YOU getting in the way of somebody with no history of that kind of stuff and no reason to mess up the product of his diligence. Charge EXTRA if they go to a show. Year's pay!

  • Thank you for this.

  • that solo cd was the shit

  • yo D-Nice...all of these are the shit brotha...mad i didnt find them sooner

  • snitches get stitches

  • this song reminds me of my early years in college. I danced to this at many a party back in the day (1990's) Memories..

  • Dag Sadat, you should've never carried that gun. Your flow's always been tight, you could've damn near talked a joker out of a beef. Keep your head up regardless.

  • alot of people these days dont even know who X is, what a shame...

  • PURE KNOWLEDGE. I love this guy for his input on Hip Hop.

  • he performing live friday aug 19th at "The Art of Lyrics" in the bronx 940 garrison ave.

  • i like this dude, he is truthful

  • I was already a huge fan of X, but after watching this, my respect for him shot through the roof.

  • One of the best voices out there.....

  • Pure Relevance

  • I think One For All (Brand Nubian) and Breaking Atoms (Main Source) are the most forgotten hip hop albums ever, even though they are classics

  • @andrewburton12345678 I highly agree, glad that I'm not the only one that thinks so.

  • Sadat X is the man

  • SADAT X dropped the Best Interview. Working with Kids with that Violent Felony is so irritating. If you did the time that should be enough, don't let it filter to the kids. The system is unjust. Get it expunged as soon as possible... JAIL is no place for the God. This was an excellent piece. Thanks.

  • And if it comes to droppin' bombs...hey i'm wit that!!! Classic joint!!!

  • Nice interview....Sadat X been my dude since back in the day. I remember seeing Brand Nubian in concert back in 93....one of the illest and most original emcees.

  • Love him! I miss all the truly talented, inspirational artists from the 80's and 90's! It saddens me that they are no longer recording! We need them!

  • Dude's charismatic as hell.

  • Man, I was all into Hilfiger because of these dudes.

  • respect

  • Respect to the God Sadat X,..but it's not hate pointing out that these new cats are making"POP"music..NOT HIPHOP!!! I realize the politics of this game today requires that many old school emcees..umm..patronize these"POP"dudes..just to maintain some recognition..but..if you have-DNicetv..then who cares about 106&TRL,XXS,and The Sauce wackazine. Its all for one..remember-Peace

  • nicevideocheckout thisvideo's. Search for crack city dvd!

  • Nice!

  • Who's the asshole that disliked this video?

  • Yo, I remember him on the #1 train around 157th....but didn't know about all that. I remember he was coaching back then. Kind of curious to know what *really* happened up there, tho... I can tell you after 10 years living on 163rd....you don't bother no one and no one bothers you... But then again, if you get caught up in one of those little love triangles...some dudes would get kind of emotional. LOL! But by and large, cats who did dirt...well, they did it with each other.

  • Brand new joint feat' SADAT X 2011 on my page (no hoax)

  • WILD COWBOY NIGGA!

  • Great interview w/ a true legend! Was hoping he'd touch on the kinda vicious tone the album cut of "Punks" has compared to the remix...always took me back that it kind of made the leap from "normal" homophobic lyrics to something a little more brutal and hoped he'd talk about it. But whatever. Sorry to hear about his run-in! Hope Sadat puts out more great shit in the future!

  • Great Interview!

  • You can tell he's a clever bloke, his intelligence shines through....pity about all the homophobia and that, though....good interview.

  • Listening to him recite that just reminds me that true emcee's are true poets...REAL HIP-HOP...words meant something and you can picture it in your head as if someone's telling a tale or a situation...this present stuff is bull****...some of it.

  • Me and my Godbrother were recently compiling a list of the 10 best MC's in Hip-Hop. When we compared our lists', my Godbrother said: Sadat X? Are you sure? I knew he was never really a big Brand Nubian fan. So I took a few minutes to school him. I started with Sadat X has one of the most illest voices and the best delivery in Hip-Hop. After the lesson he still questioned a few others on my list but not X anymore. Thanks D-Nice this is long overdue.
