Aaliyah's case is different... You cannot sing, and in the same time dance like this... Janet Jackson was same case. I KNOW, Aaliyah had killer voice and talent... just the situation wouldnt allow her to dance like that and sing... RIP< baby Girl... Love u forever and ur going top be missed... What a LOSS....

Oh my gosh! I remember watching this performance back in the day on TV, I missed the first airing on the Friday and I think they used to repeat the show on the Saturday at like midnight and stayed up to record this on VHS. Ah man, what could have been for her....

Who the hell is the photographer? The other dancers are gorgeus but i really actually watched it to see aaliyah and her moves but it could because

1) The camera was on the other dancers

2) The camera is doing a close up on aaliyah and don't get me wrong aaliyah was STUNNING ( no sarcasm) but i also thought her dances were stunning but i never got to see them because of the PHOTOGRAPHER!!!!!!!!

I actually remember watching this performance when it was first televised here in the UK and I remember thinking to myself 'Wow this girl is so beautiful, her hair was so sheen black and her red lipstick and white teeth . . . not to mention her dance moves!' Man, what a loss to the world :(

I think it was pre-recorded, because it doesn't seem like a crowd is there in front of her, so it's just a dance/lip-sync performance really. If she was doing it for a crowd I believe she would have sung live, but maybe her schedule meant she wouldn't be around at the time the show went live!?
