  • pit fluffs about too much, i mean, there's obviously a lot of skill there but all the fancy stuff is just impractical at times, look at the bit around 1:15... wtf is pit doing there? it's just pointless jumping around if you ask me...

  • sagemoon ur pit is the best i've seen. I main pit i'm starting to use a similar combat style as you now cept i gotta work on quick glides and up B's

  • watching this pit makes me want to be a better pit

  • wingdash is bad dude.

  • pit's f-tilt has much better range than i thought

  • Pit rules :)

  • anyone else here hate pit's DX

  • that swooping-in attack at 0:58 was pretty nice

i have found absolutely no use for the wingdash in this vid though

  • I wish there were people where i live that were this good. then i'd finally have some competition. I'd love to take that pit on with my kirby

  • Mad respect to you for not falling into the trap called "wi-fi" lol. Trust me i feel the same way. the only competition i have is on wi-fi and wi-fi sucks.

  • he could have won if he use mario smash down when you were on the edges

  • While you did play a good match I'd have to give the player using Mario more credit not being able to glide back on to a stage let alone controled porjectiled attacks can really take you so far.

  • The mario player was better. He just used an extremely bad character compared to pit.

  • incredible wingdash to stop marios fire ball; perfect timing (3:33)

  • agreed

  • Sagemoon you rock!!! that's all I have to say

  • how do u get pit to still jump after the whole up b thing? i really must know that can some one please tell me.....

  • It's a technique called Wing Refreshing. When you Up-B and move towards the ground, for some reason the game counts it as touching the ground, giving you jumps and resetting your Up-B. As far as I know though you have to cancel the current Up-B with an aerial.

  • lolz it's soo funny because i learned that months ago, i can do it now by quickly jumping and pressing up and B so he'll kinda touch the ground then u can cancel it quickly by hitting the down C to push them away as well or continue to fly then jump again and press up and B again to fly , umm do u play online?

  • mid tier respect

    nice game played

it was a nice break from all the marths, snakes, metas, and g&w matches i always see

  • 4,444th view. 0_o

  • That last kill was great

  • sry but it´s boring -,-

  • heres a hint for fear if your oppenent is at 30%damage or so u can grab throw down uair if knocked in front try to meteor smash (f air)its a good 20%damage or so

  • Love the finish by pit. Learned a good bit from this.

  • I liked the blocking of the fire ball in 3:33

Good video, I think I've learned something

  • Ouch. Wingdash kill ftw nice sagemoon you are my pit idol.

  • True pros fight over the edge.

  • It's nice to see a pit that uses mindgames rather than continually shooting arrows until you get too close. I have a deep respect for someone who chooses the integrity of skillfully playing a character over taking the annoying and easy route.

  • How do you always get that special A combo? Is there a way to do that?

  • Sagemoon and Fear U R AWESOME!

  • Sick Video, loops, did you also do a double loop in your other vid? Your probably the BEST Pit player out there.

  • Really nice Pit player! but the only thing is it's pretty dangerous to use his up b while close to the opponent. Risky stuff. Usually it's easy for me to take a pit player out at that moment.

  • Pit wont lose his up b within the first frames, Since I can cancel it before those frames are up, It's completely safe to use.

  • Oh really? that's pretty sweet then.

  • Great Video !

How u can attack while u are using the WoI and still able to jump?

  • If you attack out of WOI you can still use all the jumps you didn't use before WOI.

  • that's completely wrong.... if the WoI at any time touches the ground, you get all jumps back + the up b again when you exit.

  • thanks. you helped me learn a lot :)

  • Hey I need friend codes! Whoever wants to play me at brawl message me.

    My friend code is 2363-7755-5763

    Name is Joel

  • that was the closest battle ever 5 stars, u guys r pro it would be fun to fight u. link ftw!

  • lol. "mario.. mario.. mario.. mario.." DEAD

  • the best pit I've seen in a while!

  • Solid pit bro, I like it.

I feel like you could have approached a few times with Angel ring or even nair and reflected a few of his fireballs.

His fireballing was pretty predictable so you probably could have worked that in, but other than that fantastic play.

  • Excellent match! You have a great recovery!

    5/5 and faved

I am in the UK and having to wait till Friday to get Brawl. Pit is one of the characters that have intrested me.

  • I Feel so sorry for you that Brawl does not come in the UK yet. :(

  • thanks lol =/

I will have it in 4 days! Then as I have been saying... "Hello WW3! It's gonna be a BRAWL!!"

^^ thats my official quote o_O

Anyway how good are you at Brawl? I have already played an American version my mate got. So far I'm quite a good player (no means to brag). I am wanting to get used to a few characters old and new. I guess we will soon see when I get the game.

  • check my wifi friend battle to see..........you have my brawl code right?

  • Ok, well I don't have your Brawl code but I can look it up on your page =D

Anyway looking forward to having matches with you in the days to come!

  • Did you finish that move with the bair? I didn't think you could use it out of WoI... Or was it fair and I just can't tell from the video?

  • Yeah it was a bair. You can do it by pressing back right before pressing forward on the C-stick

  • Nice at 01:42 ^^

  • I saw that.. 2:01 The push effect help u n spaced away.. LOL nice match

  • the endng was amazing ^_^

  • The up b can be canceled with dair. This causes it to not only create a wavedash like effect (useful for spacing), but the push effect from the wings cancels out projectiles and delays certain aerial attacks.

  • What's dair?

  • down + air

pits aerial down move where he swings both blades beneath him.

  • Hello. Also from BC. I noticed you did a few Up B's while on stage but you never really went anywhere. Is this for mind game purposes or were you doing something I didn't notice? You can PM me on BC under this username if you'd like or just comment back here. thanks.

  • lol all mind games on the fly thing. I suppose if it was in melee it would be something like wavedashing straight down and moving nowhere when ur opponent thinks that ur gonna dash forward for the attack. Great play for pit. I say mario users should learn to attack from the air for often though to speed up their plays; not to mention spam down smash and do some breakdancing. Loved the diving tactics though for pit.
