I'm Argentinian and there were just 3000 people, I think whoever did this video is just lying and when some reporters where recording for the national television some people that were part of the protest shout at them "fucking jewish get out of here". To be honest, that doesn't sound christian at all.
conservative, right against left...it's about truth. It's about Orthodoxy and Truth...light versus darkness...good versus evil. You choose. But remember, there a eternal consequences, and it was Jesus who mentioned the outer darkness and the places where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Do you think He was lying? Better read your dusty Bibles, those of you who think abortion and homosexuality is 'okay'. God calls it an abomination. It's simple but not for the faint of heart.
Jesus said "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Specifically the law was the Ten Commandments, and two vividly come to mind to those who believe it's okay to murder their own children, or have sex outside marriage (which even the basest intelligence knows is only between one man and woman.)Thou shalt not kill, and thou shalt not commit adultery. It's non-negotiable. It has nothing to do with liberal versus...
@willthacheerleader18 a marriage is between one man and one woman, God instituted marriage in His creation of man with Adam and Eve. Marriage is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of children. There are things that only a man can give to his children and the same is true of a mother. And I'm sure you know what the Bible says and what the teachings of the Church are on homosexuality, it is a disorder.
@willthacheerleader18 is that your personal interpretation or the interpretation of the infallible Magisterium of the Church? When people use their personal judgement to intperpret the Bible they can make the Bible say anything they want it to. And gay "marriage" makes a mockery of the Sacrament of Matrimony, lets not forget about that. It also encourages disordered behavior which will lead people into misery.
@ComeHomeCatholics and yet again, that is why I do NOT believe the Church should allow the Sacrament to include gay marriage. I DO believe politically they deserve equal rights.
@willthacheerleader18 marriage is not a right, it is a privilege that is why you are issued a marriage lisence. In my state they allowed civil unions for gays, but that wasn't enough for them even though it gave them all the benefits of married couples. This issue is about the gay movement trying to mainstream their lifestyle and have it be recognized as a legitimate way of life. It is very destructive to society, I hope you come to realize that.
@ComeHomeCatholics no.. because I support gay marriage, a civil union that is allowed to adopt children and live together and have all the same rights and privilages of heterosexual couples. And if they want to know the details they can read the conversation.
@willthacheerleader18 Catholics must be faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium, that is part of being Catholic. You can't pick and choose what teachings you will choose to believe, that leads to relativism. It has always been the teaching of the Church that homosexuality is a disorder and is not part of Gods plan. That doesn't mean that we hate gays, we should pray for their conversion.
@ComeHomeCatholics The Roman Catholic Church does not believe that being gay is sinful, but acting upon it is. As a gay Catholic, this does upset me, but I understand the church's stance, and its supremicy and infallibility. However, politically I believe the Unions should be established, as in the USA (i dont know about Argentina) we have separation of Church & State. My Sexuality and views on sexuality do NOT affect my relationship with Christ or the Roman Catholic Church.
@willthacheerleader18 it is true that if someone is dealing with same-sex attraction then they must live a celibate life. I am not married so I must also live a celibate life, since sexual relations can only take place between a husband and wife. But you should not go around openly dissenting from Church teaching, like saying that you are in favor of gay "marriage". Don't you see that you are in PROTEST of the Church, yet you don't claim to be a PROTESTant anymore?
@ComeHomeCatholics Because I am not protestant. I have come home to the catholic church. Politically we all deserve equality, and none of us are better than others in the eyes of God. I do not live in a theocracy.
@willthacheerleader18 this will be my last response. You seem to think that you know what is better for society based on your personal political views, but in reality the infallible Magisterium of the Church knows what is best for human society. You are not being an obedient child of the Church when you openly dissent from Church teaching. Please read the personal message I sent you. I will make no more comments on this issue. God bless †
@ComeHomeCatholics I did read the message and I completely understand. Thank you. But my political beliefs stay the same, and that does not make me a non-catholic. You also fall from Church teaching, everyone does. None of us are perfect like Christ or Mary.
@willthacheerleader18 If you fall from church teaching, you are sinning. If you do so willingly and unrepentantly, you are cutting yourself off from God, you have perhaps even excommunicated yourself and are on the slipperly slope to damnation.
We dont have to be perfect, we have to be faithful, and your blaise attitude about not following church teaching is what gives the chruch a bad name: be you priest or laity, our job is to be faithful the commands of Christ, and his body the church.
@willthacheerleader18 If you descent from chruch teaching you are a protestant, just as when you knowingly sin you are (practically speaking) an atheist.
You should WANT to live in a theocracy. A theocracy would get rid of pornography, infantacide of abortion and aborteffificients, stop the media spreading its liberal secualr humanist propoganda, and reform families and schools so teachers and parents actually have genuine authority over children.
@havock89 Oh my dear Lord, cut it out. I personally would LOVE to live in a theocracy. But here in America we are all equal, or should be as that is what our law states.
@ComeHomeCatholics infact, my sexuality has brought me closer to Christ because I understand how much he cares for me, which lead to my conversion from the United Methodist Church to the Roman Catholic Church.
@willthacheerleader18 What has your sexual orientation got to do with who you are? Does whether you like icecream or cream with your pudding determine anything about who you are in any meaningful manner?
Sexuality is misused because it has become something which defines a person, that is NOT what God wants or intends. If your lust was rejected, your heart would be more open, and that would lead you to a greater relationship with Christ.
@xtrashed no, it is not a joke. Many catholics support gay marriage. In fact, there are many gay catholics as well. You should look it up. Sadly, that is why some left to the Episcopal Church.
You can be gay and Catholic if you are chaste. If they are calling themselves Catholic on one hand and engaging in homosexual behavior, they can not call themselves Catholic.
@xtrashed I call myself a Catholic because I believe in The Holy Trinity, that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour, that the Blessed Virgin Mary is my Holy Mother, that the Pope is the Supreme Pontiff of the Church, that there are 7 Sacraments, and that it is our duty to spread the love of Christ to others. THAT is why I call myself a Catholic. Supporting or not supporting gay marriage does not affect what religion someone is a part of.
@xtrashed Yes I can. We are all sinners my friend. Thats like saying someone who is divorced cannot be catholic, or someone who has an illigitament child cannot be catholic, and that is not true. Christ welcomed us all into his church.
