I know exactly what you'r talking about!! Westminster Sc was once a love filled town where we all loved to live, now I just came home 2 years ago and it's dying!! Over this past 2 years I have seen more sick and homeless people around here and all the plants are shutting down!! Do towns have a heart and if they do when it stops beating does the entire town die? I guess we'll find out!!
This is very interesting to me. I recently returned to my hometown after 7 years. There was such a feeling of "it dying" that I felt anger and saddness. When I was a child I had strong feelings of love, connectivity, family and love. Now that is all gone. I feel my dead family closer to me in my own home, 5 hours away from my hometown, that I just feel like there is no reason for me to return.
