  • Has anyone read through some of the comments? "catholics" *cough* BIGGOTS *cough* have been saying gay is wrong ON A VID ABOUT DEATH they are like the WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH look it up but be warned they well... Just don't look them up before bed it will give you nightmares LGBT everwhere

  • PRIDE FOREVER!!! <333

  • I'm a straight boy, and I'm a fan of this channel. Even though I'm Catholic, I still think it was very sad, and that this murder had no respect toward human dignity.

  • This is indeed a very sad day in the history of the LGBT community. My heartfelt condolences to all the families.

  • This makes my heart heavy. All over the world we take two steps forward and one step backward. It brings tears to my eyes when I think of all the hate and fear. We could learn so much from one another if we would just choose love over hate. Acceptance over tolerance!

  • did they ever catch the murderer ? if so what was the outcome ?

  • I live in Israel. I'm a lesbian. I went to the funeral. It was devestating.

  • this is just sad!

  • Comment removed

  • @DavidBergstein and if they are different religion they are not going against god...and maybe they don't care what the bible says about Adam and eve because you choose who you want to be with not with someone who someone told u to be with..

  • I dont mind gays my self. And I think its wrong to kill them.

But on the other hand, being gay is wrong. And your going against God.

  • Great video , It is great to see our Brothers and Sisters in Israel stand up and March against Gay Hate Crimes.

  • Yup was them lol

  • I wish in america there would be more riots for equal rights then there is

  • omg im sure hannaand shamim sarif were there becuse im sure i saw then and heard there names ??

  • Oh my god. This is so incredible to see. On one hand there is this pain, this anger, about the murders. And then there is this pride and the power of the community. Gay rights are human rights. When are people going to understand that? And when will they stop to kill others just because they LOVE?! This brought tears to my eyes.

  • You have no fucking idea what u talking about u little asshole shust the ur shit!

  • omg, power with you!

do they really shooted to dead those to mans? :o

  • OMG!! when did this happen? i just finished watching it, and wow! I still cant understand what people feel they have the right to take some ones life over something they dont understand or cant accept... I wonder if there will ever really come the day where people of all nations, genders and orientations can all stand on the same side of the street. heres hoping that the human race can learn to live and let live with it self. thanks for uploading this video, ill pass it along to all i can.

  • hah... you see poeple watching and like:WTF

  • i hope to find out who did this, and this boys to find peace.

  • I've already posted a comment about this terrible event, but feel compelled to post again. We still live in a prejudiced world but, if we are allowed to, we just want normal lives and to love who we want.

Homophobia means that we have to yell who we are and that we are proud. You don't realize that we have abuse every day. We have prejudice in every aspect of our lives. Luckily most gay people are social and supportive, that is why you see scenes of the affirmation of who we are in this video.

  • this vid moved me.....i want a gay flag in my room but i'm afraid that my parents r gonna take it down and start yeling at me....

    when did the shooting happen?

  • Smash homophobia...!

    LOVE is all that matters...

Stop homophobia, hate, racism... Stop the wars against people...

Equal social rights for everybody - EVERYWHERE!

    Hoch die Internationale Solidarität!

    Cheers to the International Solidarity!

    Warm regards from Germany

  • Preach it, IIkamy!

  • I'm speechless, my heart goes out to the families and everyone effected, this makes me so angry and I feel so helpless, a homophobic homocide occured in my hometown and it still hurts to think about it...

  • El odio nos mancha a todos: a quienes odian y a quienes son odiados.

Con estas muertes todos morimos un poco.

Un abrazo a los padres --amigos, hermanos-- de las víctimas: todos hemos perdido mucho, como ustedes.

  • lizzythelezzy , when I first read this news, I thought aobut you. I prayed in my heart and hoped you are ok. R.I.P the lost and god bless you, lizzythelezzy.

  • That's right, walk and shout that we gays and lesbians are here and we're not going no where... And we desire equal rights, shit we're human. R.I.P to Nir Katz, 26 of Givatayim, and Liz Trobishi, 16, of Holon and my condolences go out to their families and also to the other victims

  • hey guys you see my comments well those are just what ive been called or yelled at i post it to see if YOU ignore it i asked my friend online who is gay what to do and he said just ignore i dont agree do you ? i mean when i said those comments does it not make YOU annoyed like it did me?

  • This video moved me to tears. Thank you for posting.

  • me too....

  • It's really a kind of criminal and incivil to see that some people are posting comments pro-homophobia! Israel is the only country in the Middle East that respects GLBT people. If a man hates GLBT people then s/he might go to live in countries like Iran. Shame on these murderer!

  • Would you lizzythelezzy, please, translate the words of the speech of Tzipi Livni? Thank you :)

  • google:

Livni to gay Israelis: Don't let hate crime stop you living your life

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Could anyone translate the words the candles make please?

    Hope not Hate.

  • sure - it's the date it happened and the word "LOVE"

  • Thank you. It looks like it was a really moving protest.

  • you cant even spell, you stupid idiot.

  • @dozy080 yes long live fear... you know fear is always good even if you may be fearing your best friend. SO BE AFRAID BE VERY AFRAID us open minded people could kick you ass :)

  • Ahava = LOVE, it may say love on the other side but I cant see it.

  • I'm really sorry for what has happened in Israel. I come from Syria, and for me Israel is and will continue to be the paradise of glbt middle eastern people.

Israeli GLBT people, I'm proud of you! Go ahead with your head up high!

A warm hug to all of you :)

  • I read this in the newspaper the day after it happened and was enfuriated.

And I did think you'd post something about it. Things like that need to stop.

  • Yes this is a tragedy and I hope it never will happen again but frankly saying homosexual activists like you are so fucking annoying.

I checked your videos and its like reading aloud "lesbian" 100 times in a row.

You like women, ok so do I. But I'm straight so I guess its dull lol.

I hope one day homophobic people and gay activists like you would cease to exist and annoy normal people who don't care about sexual orientation that much. Stop making political points out of innocent blood!

  • Until the killings and hatred stops why would homosexuals not stand up for themselves? If you don't want to see videos that's all about lesbians then don't watch it. You have that choice. Homosexuals don't choose to be hated or murdered so we must stand for who we are. It's ignorance that causes this.

  • Haha ignorance its what you display right now! The main version of killings for today is love conflict between participants of club. Theres no proof whatsoever what it was hate crime. All hate you talking about is in your head, I know some normal gay people who r very happy and nice, because they are not homosexual supremacists who believe whole world against them. Seriously guy you not representing gay community, just small and extreme part of it.

  • Ignorance is ignoring the hate that goes on...

  • Theres a lot of hate in this world, I do agree.

Some of this hate against gays, some against Jews...and so on.

Just theres no proof it is particular case.

Anyway, i have no ill feelings toward you, just wanted to voice my opinion.

  • I never thought this kind of hate would happen nowadays since people are more openminded now. I guess just proves to say that the hate is still out there and we need to work more to let them see that we're not "sinners" as they say.

    -sigh-

We only happened to love someone of the same gender. Why must we go all through this?

Discrimination, homophobes, and more... going through all of this just to be able to love the person most precious to us. This is the reason why we're "sinners"?

  • The courage of these young people stands in sharp contrast to the cowardice of the masked murderer. It is often true that people prone to irrational hatred most fear what they cannot accept about themselves.

  • @yourepissinmeoff

I get the logic but I still don't think most homophobes are homo themselves, they're just bigoted.

  • יהיה שמם ברוך T_T

  • soo brave I whould like to marsh like that. So mutch pride, I think I will cry.. so beautiful.

its so *************! awful that people whould do such bad things to people. I wish I could be out from the closet and have proud parents who was marshing in a parde like that.

IF you are homofobic, why watch this???

if you care you whould wach but if you are a hater: LEAAVE IT ALONE!!!!!!

  • for those of you that dont know hebrew, that comment above by MtvStory means "go fuck in hell - death to homos".

how do people like that live with themselves, let alone other people?

you're an embarrasment to israelis. and i cant believe that people like you exist. show your face and your real name, then let's see how brave you are with your hate comments.

  • gee how can you not be ashamed of yourself?

  • חבל עלייך בנאדם, ממש חבל.

  • That is so horrible....they were so young.

    May their families find peace.

  • how terrible......

  • So sad, deep condolences to families and friends of the victims. Thank you for uploading this, Lizzy - it's a great video showing peaceful protest, strength and hope...

  • Wow. Evolve much? Assholes.

  • This is so heartbreaking. Theyre just kids, what would compel someone to do something so vile, so hateful. For f*cks sake lgbt centers are their sanctuary, its where they f*cking go to because they arent accepted or welcome anywhere else. Im a mess about this, so ticked off and sad about it all.

  • All I can do is echo your sentiments. Totally out of order. Poor kids. x

  • GO GO Global Gay! We are fighting for our safety. We are marching without fear.

All of homophobias are as bold as brass. All of them must go to hell!

  • that's horrible.

  • My heart goes out to the family and friends of the two killed youths. May they walk in fields of gold. One thing though, Gotta love the chanter at the end..."Homo, marching and not afraid" To be a sport tossed in "Lesbian, marching and not afraid" too! By the look of some of the other posters Lizzy, it appears such a large turn out gots a few homophobes scared. GO GO Global Gay! United we stand for tolerance. It's only love people. Not rocket science so stop blowing us the fuck up!

  • Thankyou for putting this up here Lizzy. it's terrible what hate and fear can cause. But This is a wonderful thing these marchers did.

  • Thanks you for sharing this Lizzy. My prayers go out to all of you affected by this tragedy.

  • This video touched my heart. Thank you so much for sharing. This world has a long way to go toards love and equality. We can never give up!!!

  • i got the chills as well it makes me sick to think how people out there are murdering people for being themselves

  • This was nothing compared to what awaits u in Serbia if u try another parade!

  • she was't a lesbian , she just liked to hang out with this people and because of that she's dead?!

she was a good girl and didnt hurt no one

  • am israel is stronge! ALL THE SUPPORT TO THIS PEOPLE!

orthodox ur the shit of israel!

we are sad to have u!

  • shr444, who said this was done by the orthodox? A person dressed in black has no gender, orientation, religious or political beliefs. U are a hate monger, why do u spread falsehood about people who may not have done it. Just today, police Commissioner David Cohen hinted that the attack may not have been a hate crime against gays, but rather, ossibility that the attack was prompted by a personal dispute. Could be nazi, christian, muslim anyone? Stop blaming n spreading hate against ur fellow.

  • cause orthdox know has the haters of the gays comunity in israel its fact! AND I WONT abe suprised if it made by orthodox!

  • shr444, and what Israel seculars are not haters. Israeli seculars expelled their own brethren from their homes in Gush Katif etc for nothing - no peace, and let these people suffer thru years of bombardment from arab rockets.

You are spreading lies and hatred and u know it. What nazi and others don't hate gays. Not all Orthodox hate gays. Your baseless hatred makes me sick. I hope that you will be the one with your foot in your mouth - u can't blame people 4 no reason. Shame on you.

  • shr444, you should critically look at your opinions you express about other people. Your comments are more set on division then unity - your thoughts and speech are an anti-thesis of peace - its pure hatred of the religious who possibly may not have done this. Even if he/she was religious, certainly he/she can't call him/herself that and u can't put blame on everyone of the whole group.

You need to do tshuvah, I hope and pray that you find peace between your fellow as the religious Jews want.

  • my thoughts are with everyone involved in this terrible attack! everytime i think we're finally making some steps forward something bad happens and i feel empty and hopeless... maybe the next generation (and i'm only 20...) will have advances from our right for equality and justice! may all the victims of hate and bigotry rest in peace!

  • this is very upsetting.

my heart goes to the parents and family to those that have passed.

RIP! there in a better place now.

  • We should be proud of Tel Aviv's LGBT community, peacefully rallying together and mourning

  • My friend, Nit Katz, I hope you rest in peace. Nir was a peacful, loving and loved men. We will miss you.

  • obviouisly, she shall we say, played both sides of the fence, if you get my drift (;

  • I don't.

  • What racism would really be if it was WHY people killed each other, it is found in 'identity' Western Christian civilization is about PERSONAL IDENTITY. it is about you and only you and what kind of person you are. To them: identity is a GROUP IDENTITY. It is always spoken of as WE, we should do this, we should do that. The 'orthodox' want to kill gays for their JEWISH SIN of not being a respectable part of the 'we'. They are divided. Orthodox vs TV SHOWS. And both sides want ONE SAME we

  • This is Judaism the ACTUAL SOURCE of religion that teaches 'kill gays' though they are supposed to use rocks. Yes I know: the ATHEISTS TOLD YOU that 'Christians' are to blame for the JEWISH TORAH TEACHINGS; they lied. If you are waiting for the teachings of Jesus to stop executing people 'for sin' you have a long wait. They hate Jesus.

  • whoa....

  • This made my heart hurt :(

  • That is just extremely sad... =\

  • this is really fucked up... but its not much different the way that the Israelis treat the palestinians.. raids, being treated like crap and humilation is just part of their lives now. I hope there will be peace between the israelis and palestinians but I know thats just not going to happen because of greed and hate

  • I don't understand people.

This makes me sad that tey even had to protest this.

  • In a country with so much violence, why on earth would someone want to create more? War I can understand: Hate typically begets hate which begets violence. It's abhorrent but understandable. However, I don't understand what compels people to respond to love with hate. That's what being openly LGBT is: Loving yourself and loving someone else...even in a religious context, how can 'thou shalt not kill' be overruled by 'a man shall not lie with a man?' Who decided the second one is more important?

  • This kind of attack made me so mad...I just hope they will find the shooter.

  • Together we shall stand, Takecare.

  • it makesme sick that someone would do this just cause of there sexual orientation....my heart goesout to them....maybe one day the world will change

  • so sad! my heart goes out to all who are hurt...

  • I am very sorry for this....just very sorry.

  • The saddest thing... IS HATE, will never end!

In fact... ON EARTH, it's needed!

  • Hope will ALWAYS win over hate!

  • In the end.... ALL THINGS will win over HATE!

    Trust me on this one!

  • This is such a sad event. I can't understand this kind of hatred and violence.

  • My heart goes out to everyone effected by the violence. This is a fitting tribute, and a very powerful protest. I wish I could be there with you, Israel.

  • This is an excellent reaction to homophobic terrorism. I wish I were there with all of you.

    An hetero friend from Italy

  • i will never understand homophobes....

    am straight but support gays!

  • i am not gay but i am with the gay

  • Thats just horrible. I'm so glad that many of us, like them, are not afraid to stand up to those haters and ignorant morons that think hiding behind homophobia will make them tougher. All any of it seems to be anymore is an ego trip for the haters.

    ♂♂ STOP HATE! ♀♀

  • to gays of israel

  • I dont get why people do thing like that..is it really warth it..I mean come on. Its the year 2009 get over it already

  • "All of us together, without hate and fear." :)

  • i think that this could happend everywhere. Homophopia lives everywhere the saddest thing is two young people had to die

  • Lovely to see this march. Gays are the best people.

  • wow, i thought Israelis were open to gays

  • in tel aviv, we are, this is why it is such a shock and why so many people are coming out to protest

  • RIP Nir and Liz Killed for being in a same sex relationships Condoleneces to there families and friends

STOP GAY HATE NOW IT IS SO WRONG

  • people do not realize that if you are homophobic u r no better than a racist or an anti-semite from nazi germany. so much hypocrasy in this world...

  • I can't believe attacks like this are still happening in 2009

    STOP GAY HATE NOW

  • why does this keep happening? It just fucking hurts that narrow minded people once looked down upon a black man and some still do but at least it's gotten better... but after all this years, homophobia keeps happening... i don't know what else to say... it just hurts.

  • *sighs*

    seriously, this has to stop.

  • Its amazing that so many people think that the LBGTQ community are the ones to blame for so much intolerance and hate but they never stop to think that its the LBGTQ community who never start these fights. That its the hateful, bigoted, viiolent straight community who seek us out to kill us, to maim us, to rape us, to mutilate us. Its amazing they never stop to think about that point.

  • I stand with you. Anti-gay hatred needs to end NOW!

  • I hope they catch the horrible person who did this. The world must know HATE CRIMES are not tolerated

  • Fiedllio13, we don't add hate. The criminal does. Hate crime is fundamentally different from other crime. It is not motivated by need, or provocation, or insanity, but to terrorize a community. Not all crimes are hateful at all. For example, a mother murdering her kids is hard to understand, but in most cases the mother says she loved them. Theft and burglary are rarely motivated by hate. If you don't like "hate crime" then let's call it terrorism. It's the same thing.

  • Amen to that

  • My thoughts and prayers go out to the families effected by this terrible strategy.

  • Tzipi Livni (Kadima):

"I came here to show my support for those who live in the proud gay community and are grieving over their dead. I hope that this terrible day will also give you strength and mark a turning point. This day should give children the strength to tell their parents 'I'm gay'. This day should give parents the strength to love their children for who they are. This day should give the strength to make a change within Israeli society, so that it will be proud of its gay community."

  • Thanks for posting and highlighting homophobia in one of its extremist forms.

deepest condolences to the friends and family of those killed and may those that were hurt make a fast recovery.

all this hatred has to stop

  • Condolescens from Barcelona. When we hear things like a Pope saying homosexuality is the greatest danger to the planet, when we hear some Imans calling us sinners who should not be respected and when we hear some ultra-orthodox people having a homophobic discourse I imagine an attack like the one yesterday in the gay community center is what we may suffer. STOP HOMOPHOBIA ONCE AND FOR ALL!

  • Comment removed

  • the gay gangster strikes again....

  • This hate has to stop.

  • Omg this is horrible!

Condolences to their familes and the gay community. =(

  • oh my god.

  • why has this not made U.S. headlines yet??

  • Very sad thing to happen.

  • My deepest condolences to all who were affected by this terrible act.

  • My condolences to the victims and their loved ones.

  • It is a sad day in this community. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims.

As a young transgender youth I used to attend a youth group much like theirs. We used to meet in the basement of a local church. I can't imagine what it would have been like if it had been our group that was attacked.

Let us band together and fight to stop the hate in this world!!!

  • Religion suck

  • What if it was an act of jealousy? I think we should take it into consideration. However, if it is an act of hate, I hope they will catch that person and cut his B...and let him bleed to death...

  • Hate is the worst 4-letter word of all. Condolences to the community and the families of those who died.

  • peace, light and love always xx

  • I'm really upset... I can't believe something like that happen in Tel Aviv, which is normally a so gay friendly city... I'm in a young GLBT group and we do some meeting like they have done. It could also happen to me or to anyone else... It's horrible...

  • very sad.. no one is free until everyone is free and equal..just sayin

  • My thoughts are with the family and friends.... In all my years I still don't understand why people have a problem with Gays..... Myself I don't bother other people and I just want to live and be happy with my partner... Are they jealous because 2 people can find happiness with one another... Just a question???? What if people just stared shooting straight people because of whom they love??? I don't mean people should do that I'm just asking a simple question... Just wandering???

  • You live a sad sad life, and I am sorry about that. Love thy brother. Treat everyone as if they are equal.

    ~JLH~

  • I'm sorry you're scared of people who happen to live a lifestyle different from you. Bless you.

  • I'm sorry to tell you this, but a lot of people care. Hence the huge march on the streets. Love thy brother. Treat everyone as if they are equal.

    ~JLH~

  • it's hard for me to believe that there are still people out there who are willing to kill others just because of the fact that they are gay...

these people are the reason why I am staying in the closet -.-

my thoughts are with their families and friends...

  • please dont stay in the closet. i reckon that it was a closet person who did these attacks. they're too scared to come out then they get angry and jealous towards the out gay people. you'd be joining a vicious circle. by being out you could show these angry closets its okay and hopefully less of this would happen. straight people dont give a fuck about gay people. only closet gays do.

  • Disturbing news from Tel Aviv. My thoughts and

condolences to the families and friends of all

the victims. Don't loose hope and continue the

    good fight for equal rights.

    Martin from Köln, Germany

  • all united against homophobia ! i cried and we are proud !

  • My thoughts are with the families and friends of Nir and Liz and of those injured in this horrific attack Keep fighting for your rights to love

  • Its kinda sad how someone can gun down someone just for falling in love wiht someone else? What happens if the gay community decided to fight back and gun down the straight people, they would get 10 times more punishment, Its just not right..

  • It sucks but this is true of human nature. Humans naturally hate anyone different from them. Homophobes are the perfect examples of these.

  • my thought are with all of you in israel and around the world, were we have attacks on the gay community every single day. in berlin we had on saturday night six gay men who were attacked and severely hurt at another venue! homophobia has to end now!!!

  • people been killed only because of their feelings!! so f*cking horribal!! How could this be? in a country like Israel where we all jews and equal people!?

my prayers are with the families of the killied children. RIP.

  • So sad :(

    My thoughts are with you.

  • My friends were shot, and people I knew were killed..

This sends us thousands of years back..

How is a young afarif child suppose to come to these places now? or think of coming out like this?

I hope this will remind EVERYONE up there, that SPREADING HATE IS LIKE DOING IT YOURSELF.

r.i.p and my god help the ones that are in the hospital.

  • i am with and kiss you from berlin!

  • Omg, that is so sad. :-(

Thoughts & prayers with their families. x

  • great video

shows the good in the world that people do care

i feel chills from watching this

    very powerful and intense
