the ghan is a great train, it`s not boring when you travel in it the right way, its great because you can get tables of four, to a whole carriage that holds 6, it has great scenery, but isnt obiously for those who dont like trains.

I really hate to bust your bubble but VIA's Canadian does 4466KM on Toronto - Vancouver. And it has domes. Done it and loved it. But its not all bad, I'd still come to Aus and ride either of these, heck thats why I'm watching these videos :)
