i only used it once then 5 months later went to use it again and the strips are out of date and the chip has expired. what a con ! i understand 'medical' items have a sell by date but in an airtight container and nop option to override trhe message for someone to get a ballpark figure who is ot taking the reading to seriously for health is a rip off imo

@sweetypie000 - Hello yes it is quite a good meter but the airtight container should always remain well closed and the chip shoild also be manipulated with care. In fact I experienced the same problem but I took the whole thing back to my pharmacian and the latter gave me a new one ....
