Okay, my second comment now...I visited Olomouc for a week in early August. All I can say is that it's one of the best undiscovered cities in the Czech Republic. Your video partly inspired me, and I hope it inspires other people too...though I hope it never gets too crowded like Prague ;)
Was in Olomouc very recently doing some teaching. That Sports Bar was right across from our hostel.... first thing I pointed out to my mate was the Chelsea badge!
I'm also ashamed to say I ate at the Macdonalds no less than three times... on the step of the monument!
@andyboothismyhero These things happen of course - what can one do? I found a very nice restaurant at McDonald's prices which I show in one of my films from Olomouc!!

Well, thank you kindly, Alan. :-) Eastern Europe and its rural beauty is blowing me away more every day. Crazy insane times had by all. If you want late night drinks, try the Metro bar. Underground place, it rocks.
Then again none of the bars ever seem to close in Olomouc!
Just dont get involved with the cops over there for ANYTHING, they are pricks

We went to that country but seem to have missed this place. The good thing was Hitler preserved Prague, and kept its charm.

Olomouc is amazing - the pearl of Central Europe. I have much more to show when I get some time to put the films together and then post them!
Brno is quite nice too. You may also wish to see the films on Novy Iicin and Stary Jicin!
