my favorite of the front ends is the 78 and 79s.

The biggest mistake GM could make would be to bring back the TA, which would compete against the Camaro. Pontiac is gone, all the performance teams now work for Cadillac and Chevrolet.

It was build as a "what if" when the new Camaro came out. Several different looks were built on the Camaro chassis to represent what a retro Firebird might look like if Pontiac was still around. I think you can get the body panels as a kit and convert a Camaro over. I don't know why you'd want to, though.

@vettefan73 its not someone its a brand lingenfelter, they do custom camaros, cadillacs, corvettes. this is there version of a 2011 TA it has a aluminum 455.... i cant find the rest of my papaers on it. but there right around 550 hp and 600 ft/lbs torque. i drovea white one at world wide auctions where i work. there pretty sweet cars. but truth is there only a camaro with a few different body panels and a big block. to me theres nothing wrong with that though.

Neither one of those cars are made by Pontiac nor are they any form of a Trans Am. Pontiac would NEVER make a Trans Am that bulky cause they knew what speed was and aerodynamics too. Secondly, I would just like to say Pontiac is like a amazing band. Even though it's no longer putting out new albums the songs will forever be loved by the fans and played regularly. I love my Grand Am GT and the only car I want afterwards is a Trans Am. I am a Pontiac fan forever.
