The remake's a huge improvement, SNES version don't got voice over, and the attacks far from being as nice.. *sigh too bad i only playing SNES version
Plus you have to go a certain route. You have to take the route that involves getting Quatro, Have Shu at the end of the last stage, and gotten there in a certain number of turns.
Dude you know the movie must have a opening purpose .. AND THAT was awsome .. i'm not gonna lie to you but it is pretty awsome to see the classic openings of those SRW series ..
[ I always loved SRW 3 cause of the motion-less attacks .. though maybe weird sometimes but F**K IT its must cooler then OG xDD ]
PS : .. well maybe OG is twice cooler then this ._.
Nah, no way. The later ones have a much better plotline... And are less frustratingly hard. At least the PS1 version is a huge improvement over the SFC version... I honestly can't stand to play the 16-bit one. The post-move weapons were nerfed so that you can only use 1-square melee moves, the Getter Beam counts as a Gundam-type beam weapon... bleh.
Nope, haven't play impact. Yes, I heard that game is pretty hard with 100+ stages. Probably won't have time to play that game since I still have MX and the upcoming OG to work on...
But still you have a high advantage numoreous levels don't mean anything. Oldies are very hard. I still can't beat G 2 i've been stuck on it for more than 2 years now and i still can't beat itXD
Well, sort of -- in SRW 3 for SFC, all range-1 attacks were post movement (and *only* range-1 attacks were post movement), with the exception of Cyflash and Psycho Blaster.
How can this be consider better than the likes of Alpha series, MX, and Z with its boring, outdate graphics and weak plot?

The trick to getting the secret ending is simply not take any optional side-levels. It's really not that hard.

~17:48. Wendolo's voice...ick. I like how he sounds in OGs. Mega Flasher looks pretty cool. Still my favorite chest beam, period.

Hell, I never even know you could change out the pilots. I can't read Japanese, so I just counted myself lucky I figured out how to play at all.

Same here. I'm gonna try and stumble through SRT:OGs once I'm done with SRW:Alpha Gaiden

Does the amount of damage use an addition-subtraction scale, or does it use a percentage scale like SRW 4 and all the games after that?
alHalwima 3 years ago
You are not correct.
the original SFC SRW3 secret stage (you need to finish the game under 350 round not 317 round.

umm i have a question. does the secret last stage exist in the ps1 version?
wanewong 5 years ago
Yes, I think so. If you finish the game in 317 turns (or 320?) you would be able to go to the secret stage.

.. Even modern SRW are hard. Have you played Impact? It has 100 stages full of waves of reinforcements.

What level are you on? I might be able to give you some actual advice unlike the walkthroughs in GameFaqs.
alHalwima 3 years ago
Actually, the post movement weapon weren't nerfed.
They didn't exist until Super Robot Wars Ex outside of Masaki's and Ryuune's map attacks.
And the game is slightly easier if you're not going for the secret stage.
But if you want to go there... Ah, the pain. X D
And Scirocco and the aliens leaders didn't help at all. X D
