To me it sounds like you guys are playing and not focusing on each other. listen down to the low parts and back off during the melody. i like how you had an instant reaction to the conductor on stage. violins are to loud i cant hear anything of low brass or clarinet. when somone has the melody and you dont you need to back off... this is a tip from a collage player. ( i Play: Bass Clarinet, Bass Flute, and Bari Sax)

lol my middle school played this when i was in 7th grade, although in concert band. ours was much better though b/c we had a way stronger bass so its way deeper and has a more powerfull sound. i play TUBA!!!!!

Very good for a middle school. This piece is much better as an ensemble though, because it HAS to be COMPLETLY together, which is near impossible to do with an orchestra that size. our all state is playing brahms symphony no.1. now thats hard. but thats not middle school, either.

I always thought the same thing, until my orchestra actually decided to play this piece. If you were to look through the score, they followed everything perfectly, other than the fermata and its release at the end.

mm we played this song for a concert(play viola in a high school chamber orchestra) sounds pretty good. but at the all state level i'd hope. were going to play it at Festival Disney but im glad we didn't it wasn't a very good piece for something like that.

We played this for our UIL this year. I play bass. This is a really good performance, especially for middle schoolers. Kinda broke apart at the beginning and around measure 49, i beleieve, in the lower strings.
