In the flute solo(it sounded like more than one)it was staccato....it's supposed to be laggoto(I know I can't spell) but it kind of ruined the solo. The sound was good and other than it being staccato it sounded good, but that just not how it's supposed to sound.

We have some of the best musicians in the country at our school, and when we played this song, it sounded very similar to how this school played it. They played it at the perfect tempo, and I thought their tone-quality was pretty good. This coming from someone whose bands from middle school through high school NEVER received anything less than Straight Ones!! GO OAK GLEN!!

i just got back from concert assesment where we played this song and we did alot better job then this band, our band doesnt have the instrumentation but we played the shit out of the music. the expressive part at 65 in this song was way too fast, it is supposed to be slow and melodic, not fast and ... psudeo-melodic.

I remember playing this song years and years ago. There were only supposed to be three trumpets that played the fanfare at the very beginning. It sounded like the whole section was playing. Not too bad for a middle school band honestly. Although, it's always different sitting behind the music stand.

1. clarinets and flute need to play louder!!

2. it could just be my speakers but i heard some tuning problems

You guys need to watch the tempo. And the clarinets needed to play louder because it was too soft. The 16th notes needed to be louder also. But still, thats pretty good.. compared to some other people I guess.
