The last 5 times I flew I was searched once 3 times (straight flight) and twice, once when I had a connecting flight. It is insane how long you have to wait in lines now. I will actually find airports out of my way (smaller less crowded airports) because I would rather drive an hour or 2 instead of sitting in an airport for 5 hours.
Mexicans hard workers? Maybe at one point in time, but the Mexicans working at my father's job site (he's a carpenter/construction worker) are lazy, incompetent, and usually don't speak English. First of all, I agree with you about Fox News. I don't know if they are dangerous but I certainly think they are very slanted and bias. Now, about this show. It's a comedy show, if you look it up in a dictionary you'll find gay innuendo and obscure references. That's the point. They make it very clear that its not a news program. Marc Lamont Hill is the most phony, uninformed, and just plain ignorant people to ever appear on a news show, why they keep having him on is a mystery, he is 100% impossible to take seriously. Unicorn Jones makes more sense than he does and Greg needs to have Fluffy McNutter kick him off the show.

I don't like Olbermann completely either, because often he overexaggerates points and this makes him seem rather desperate and forceful (these are traits usually not enjoyed by a viweing audience). And, thanks for your offer, but I will not 'lighten up'. This is because I feel it is my duty to point out these remarks, and if we start 'being easy' on these shows we will eventually allow our minds to be taken over by the often perversive simplicity of their logic.

So, in this respect, I believe that the public should constantly criticize all aspects of the media to keep them on their toes. And, I do not really mind any "offensive" statements unless they are considered libel (this condition is outlined extensively in the law). So these remarks are not unwelcome, but it is up to the public to decide how valid or feasible these tasteless jokes or remarks are. I am sorry, but today's society is a very "touchy" place...

Nobody can tell you that your argument is "not right". You gave an opinion. No one can objectively prove that "a news channel is no place for a comedy show". Also, the "Fox News" logo at the bottom is the network icon, not a declaration that this is a news program. You also understand that this show airs at 3 A.M. right? That time slot is certainly not "the looking glass of the world for many American".

If you look up the definition of "news" in the dictionary (the Oxford Dictionary in this case), it is information about important or interesting events. What Fox News does is ignore to a large extent the reporting of information, and place emphasis on simple interpretation and personal views (Bill O' Reilly's show is a good example of this). First of all, I agree with you about Fox News. I don't know if they are dangerous but I certainly think they are very slanted and bias. Now, about this show. It's a comedy show, if you look it up in a dictionary you'll find gay innuendo and obscure references. That's the point. They make it very clear that its not a news program. Sometimes, especially at 3 AM, people just want some of-the-wall, toilet humor. I know that if it was between info-mercials and Red Eye, I would take the former always.
