Just had this done a few hours ago. Didn't really hurt at all. Just sorta uncomfortable. But really didn't feel any pain. My gums tho do sorta ache right now. Nothing Tylenol can't fix :P People shouldn't be worried to have this done.

This is so painful, but its really necessary. The front top and bottom are terrible. But your gums look sooo much better and if your dentist is quick and good itll be over in 10-15 minutes

omg i just got this done today and it was such a pain especially when they reach your 2 front teeth...the bottom ones i didnt feel a thing but the top ones i had to clinch the armrest....i bleed so much i looked like a zombie for a while....

I have to get this done in a few weeks, I'm sooo nervous. They are numbing me and I'm making them do my whole dang mouth in one visit. My gums are red and puffy. Hope the deep cleaning will do the trick. :/

bro. u got ripped off. she didn't even go all the way "sub"...meaning she didn't clean deep down. the ultrasonic isn't meant to go all the way down to a 6mm pocket, which I heard her read out during probing. plus, she's so heavy handed and her strokes are hella long and messy. Oh, and btw she has an assistant to do suctioning for her too. What a lucky hygienist/DDS.
