i think i just lost on of my neons after i got one...but i lost one before for a few days, and tehres NO WHERE to hide...but it came back after a few days...im hoping thats what happend again. i hope it didnt get eaten
It's now been a year since I posted this video. I still have all my neons. The fish are well fed, and have hiding places (the neons never hide, though). I've never seen the Eel go after another fish, but he is being much more secretive these days.
Ive got a spiney peacock eel as well lol i really like him cause he doesnt get as big as fire eels or tire tracks :)

He isn't large enough yet to go after the neons. I suspect one day we'll notice a decline in the neons...

neons will get eaten by the eel. btw, i do this with my tetras al the time. but i have a mirror back tank so it works better on the eel

I just recently lost the neons, but to an African Leaf Fish -- the Eel never did go after them even though he is quite large now.
