  • I was there that night. The vocalist is amazing. Powerglove destroyed them, though. Fucking great night.

  • so... FUCKING awesome!!! :D

  • I was there!

    a most excellent show.

  • I love reading comment threads and seeing all the awesome arguments about what "good music" is. The best is watching people pigeon hole a band into a genre. "No bro you're totally wrong. Mutiny Within isn't just metal. They're Epic Power Synth METAL!!!!!" They're metal. Bottom line. I swear to god there are more sub-genres of metal than any other music. Metal fans seem to be taking on their own hipster entity....

  • He screams just like he does on the album, sick shit.

  • Wheres the wammy!:D

  • Mutiny Within please come to Indonesia with the old vocalist!

  • I just heard their singer Chris had to leave the band -_- That sucks, he was a killer vocalist.

  • @SlipknotOwnsMe True ? Then Mutiny Within is probably dead... I like their instrumental but he's just one of the best metal singer i've heard for 5 years...

  • @Sniperkitten971 Yeah man, sadly it is true...

  • That was a fucking tight solo

  • Soo much talent came from my homestate of New Jersey.... Mutiny Within is my favorite band ever!!!!

  • i wish i had paypal or samthing so i could buy the album...

    AWSOME BAND!

  • 1:34

    "hey you... fuck you =D"

  • i Know the guitarist on the far right its my mates freind dan bage

  • Gotta say I think very generic metalcore. Seen them open for Arch Enemy and was a total bummer nobody there was into it. At least Arsis was after them.

  • @brenco222 its actually more power metal.

  • @samfulfordskates Gotta say I think it is a typical, generic "belongs-to-the-who-gives-a-fuck-about-whichfuckingever-genre". Seriously, what does the genre matter? If you like it, cool. If you don't like it, that's also cool. I like their stuff, but I'm not much of a fan of it.Putting it into another genre won't make any difference in quality, neither positive, nor negative direction. Just listen to it. Or don't.

  • @Gecc you are right but when someone makes such a big genre error that they are wrong, it gives false connotations.

  • @samfulfordskates I see. O.K. :)

  • @samfulfordskates Are you high? Do you even listen to power metal? Go check out Edguy, Hammerfall, or even Dragonforce. They're power metal. The only thing even remotely power metal about these guys is Chris' voice, and that's just because he has a really powerful voice. They're closer to a mix of death metal and metalcore with power metalish vocals. They also do shit with the keyboard that no other genre really does in metal. You can't really place them well, you just totally missed.

  • @darkdudironaji tl;dr.

  • @samfulfordskates They can't be placed in one genre, but if they were it would be metalcore. They aren't power metal in the slightest. Power metal sounds like this

    watch?v=iI9IJpR-jzA Better?

  • @darkdudironaji i know what power metal sounds like, lost horizon, d force etc the vocals are powermetaly which is an essential part of powermetal. therefore its sounds powermetally, even has the cheesy lyrics. dont reply to this as i dont care.

  • @darkdudironaji I feel they'd be placed in melodic deathmetal

  • @TOAOM123 Not really enough screaming/growling for that though.

  • @darkdudironaji i love their keyboards idea. reminds me of Children of Bodom haha nicee

  • @darkrhythms Agreed, but I don't like COB that much. Can't stand the screaming (not theirs, just a lot in general). It's also similar to some symphony X songs, but as a whole their keyboard is pretty original, because it has more of a classical feel than a synth one

  • @brenco222 This is literally the least generic metal band there has been in 20 years.

  • such a sick vocalist

  • yall better not thumbs this up

  • fhfjfjhjh

  • I've loved this band since I first heard them months ago, but they are truly amazing live too. I'm especially amazed with Chris Clancy. At 3:35 he changed tones without missing a beat.

  • echt cool!

  • the guitar player is a monster! wOw!

  • 1:33 he flicks someone off in the crowd, i love it. lol

  • the demo is better than the finale outcome

  • hey metalonhermind do u know pyramid theorem?

  • these guys are gunna get soooo damn BIG!

  • The tubby one with the curly hair is a fucking sick guitarist.

  • That totally rocks I want to see this band

  • I'm not missing them on their tour with Epica and Scar Symmetry. Already missed them with Soilwork because of rain, got to the show late.

  • this band has completely blown my mind. their album is fucking incredible, ever since the day i got i've listenied to the whole thing every single day. no bullshit

  • Would love to see these guys live. They're gonna be huge. Lol both guitarists have the same guitar as me

  • i met the whole band! xD

  • I WAS THERE! i was suprised by them when i saw them. i never heard of them before, but they were awsome!

  • they gotta realese lethean as their next video

  • Wow, that was actually pretty awesome. I'm BUYING the album right now :D

  • @NE0nugget Cheers!

  • @MetalOnHerMind Vocalist has some serious power. Rivals Christian from Scar Symmetry, I'd say.

  • Im so sad they got rid of Bill he was a beast!

  • bands make miniscule amounts of money for selling CD's. They make all their money touring.

  • @Panthro3000 bands barely break even while touring...

  • @gamegodone1

in the beginning it is that way. But as they become more popular, they start to make money while touring.

  • @jteachey2 unless your a mainstream band its very difficult to make money off of tourning

  • He hit the high notes perfectly live. That's damn impressive.

  • Great band, anybody up for a tour including them, Gojira and COB?? I would give 1/3 of my left testicle to see that show lol

  • dream theater is the best band live no doubt. they r so clean. just saying. thumbs up if u agree

  • cool =D

  • Great song...

    Great band...

    Great work...

    Thanks for the upload.

  • You did great with the video, man! And this band is pretty good, I got to see them open for Sonata Arctica. Why didn't I buy their album!!?!?!?! xD

  • Saw these guys open for arch enemy in Philly, great band. Very powerful vocals. Good choice for an arch enemy tour

  • Ahh Man saw these guys in January, Bought the album, They're goooooood

  • I'm really in LOVE♥!!!

  • this is really good but they defiantly need to work on there live performance, its boring and im not wow'd by there playing its very almost off beat

  • i believe that their path will be similar like trivium's. mad 2 he's using 7 string GO MUTINY!!!!

  • are they playing in a lower key than the record?

  • @Mohamed636 Yeah, they do that so that the singer doesn't have to go all out at every single concert with the higher vocals, it would wear him out really quickly.

  • He should stop screaming, hes gonna ruin his singing voice, and its really good lmao

  • @Emosucks1991 Actually, you may notice that his screaming was very close to the mic. This is because it is a slightly quieter scream that gets most of its rumble in the chest by using a lot of air. He's doing it right, and not hurting his cords one bit. Don't worry, he'll still sound awesome in a few years lol.

  • @metalpwner Lol i didnt know you could scream without hurting urself. I just always thought it was a matter of time. But okay kool then :)

  • Live is a shit, studio is the best

  • are 7 fucking strings????

  • badass!!!

  • i actually used to shoot full concerts for my TV show n this is pretty good with 2 cams, awesome work.

  • @ChildofBodom608 thank you! I'm in the process of finding someone who wants to hire me :) lol

  • @MetalOnHerMind yeah its hard, i got a few business cards out here but nothing to interesting

  • hey did you shoot the whole set? ive been listening to them for 3 years or so and i would pay you for a DVD or even VHS lol

  • @ChildofBodom608 if you want to we can work soemthing out, I also have other songs from their set, and I'm not sure I can expect money without giving some to teh band but I'll see what I can do :)

  • @MetalOnHerMind haha cool, yeah i just really like the band and havent been able to see them live yet

  • did you tape the whole show? cuz i would pay for that on a dvd or even VHS lol ive been a fan of these guys for about 3 years so that would be bad ass

  • sounds very good.

  • @JDAllSeasonsRemain agreed, i have a ibanez 7 string its a piece of shit.

  • uuu awsome..

  • My new favourite band! Good to know they're fantastic live!

    btw thanks for posting this!

  • They're pretty impressive live. Can't wait to hear more.

  • Great shot of the solo! Now is my chance to actually (try) to tab it out

  • wow!! what a perfect performance!!

  • dude there gonna be huge

  • SHIIT 0:25 what a growl...

  • They are in chicago for my birthday on sunday!!!! They are freaking awesome!!!

  • My wish for Prog. Nation 2010

    Dream Theater(duh)

    Cynic

    Mutiny Within

Tetrafusion(awesome unsigned band coming out with a new album)

  • These guys seem to be an awesome live band, hoping to see them while they're on tour with Sonata Arctica!

  • @XtremeCam I'm going to be seeing them in a show along with Sonata Arctica on April 24th. I can't wait for it. :D

  • @URSoFired555 Awesome, if I am able to go to their show it will be the May 1st show! I'm really hoping I can, two damn good bands!

  • One of the best things to happen to metal for a while.

  • awesome fucking band. they will be huge within the next 5 years.

  • I meant to give you a thumbs up so sorry. And I completely agree, they'll be huge in a couple years.

  • Also if you like this song you should check out overburdened by them. It's awesome

  • @corey0007 ye ofc, all the damn songs on their recent albums owns. it won't surprise me if these guys reach the top of metal bands.

  • @corey0007 not with that singer they wont, hes good at what he does but his chorus's and shit are too gay for metal fans, and it doesnt go good with this band

  • @macaframa12 Trust me that singer. They'll be huge.

  • @macaframa12 Too gay for metal fans? Dude, I'm a metal fan and I love it. And no, not crappy emo metal like BFMV, I mean like Kalmah and Wintersun. True, the "cvlt" guys who listen to nothing but black and death will probably hate it, but any open minded metalhead will love it.

  • @McMadman94 dont get me wrong they are good, and i love the instruments, but just saying they will never be HUGE because the singing is silly in general to what people like. Hes good at what he does, but doesnt fit the band

  • @macaframa12 Ever hear of HammerFall? That's all I'm saying LOL.

  • @McMadman94 you know what, maybe they are more for the European market, we have a lot more love for that kinda music and singing here ;) I admit though, it took me some time to get used to some of his singing but there's no doubt he's got a great voice. live still needs some work but that'll come...

btw. hell yeah, Wintersun! too bad we are still waiting for a new album :(

  • @Seraph1na Wintersun fucking rule! But yeah, that album has the most ironic title ever. LOL

  • @macaframa12 Uh? Have you ever heard of Iron Maiden. Are you going to sit there and tell me Bruce Dickinson is to gay for metal bands. Let me be really honest all those black and death metal bands would not be around if not for bands such as Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. Hell go listen to King Diamond that guy has a powerful set of vocals and is a really good singer.

  • @Epica124 Uh who the fuck said anything about those bands? this guy is not anywhere near the vocals of any of those bands. I never said i didnt like singing u fuckin idiot, i said this guy is goofy as fuck. I love good singers, but all i was sayin was that his shit is kind of silly for a metal band, he sounds like he should be singing for the Mulan soundtrack. So next time dont judge me when u dont even know. Btw howard jones is one of my favs, so thanks

  • @Epica124 and also i dont listen to fucking black metal so thats another good assumption

  • Chris the singer is from England. Later Dan the guitar player came over. The keyboard player Drew is from Jersey.

  • @smokerulez drew, brandon, AJ, and the drummer (and the new drummer Chad) is from NJ

  • These guys are know exactly what we want and expect from a great band, 5+*s

  • chris is the FUCKING MAN never seen a more badass singer

  • The vocalist makes me want to give up completely on singing.

    ... Fuck my life.

  • lol, I hear that, oh how i agree lmao

  • this band is amazing! i have to get the album

  • These guys could be great, but not with this drummer. He is trying way too hard. It's not that he isn't good because he is, but someone needs to hide those splash cymbals until he understands how to use them more sparingly.

  • Haha further proof that growls are easier to recreate live than falsettos. A lot of these bands with power metal or just plain high vocals always have to tune down their voices for live performances. They can't seem to keep the album pitch going for too long. Which is totally understandable. But I love it when they prove they CAN do it, like he did @ 3:15. Simply epic. :)

  • Sounds good, but that guitarist's voice tends to clash with the lead singer's so I think he should shut up and play the guitar XD

  • oh my god, they are damn awesome. usually takes a few years after a band comes out to become that good...

  • Doesn't sound right him saying they're from New Jersey when he has a northern english accent.

  • @kamikaze90watermelon

the singer is from England lol. He came over to join the band before they even got signed.

  • @metallivengeance no, after they got signed. they didn't have a singer when they got signed. AJ the bassist did children of bodom type vocals.

  • he auditioned.

  • Comment removed

  • Cgris, the singer is from England. Dan Bage, one of the guitar players came over after. Drew, the keyboard player is from New Jersey.

  • Sorry i'm Jewish, spending money isn't my thing

  • i love how he sounds almost exactly the same live. Now i just need to wait another week so i can find there album on limewire...

  • @SicRights leach. you are the reason they only sold 900 copies so far...which is god aweful

  • @burningempire666 Lol. believe it or not I actually went out and bought a copy after a week.

  • @burningempire666 The band have in fact sold far more than 900 copies to date. However, you are right in being critical of thieves, sorry pirates, who steal albums rather than pay for them. If this band is to survive to make a second album they need folks to show their support by buying the album.

  • @MutinyWithinFansUK I'm just going by Roadrunner records and Neilscan's figures I read off blabbermouth's website.

  • Fucking awesome! I love the live version of this song. Great job!

  • thank you for posting ^^

  • just got into this band! great song.

  • Class.

  • i was at this show, they were pretty good

  • wow theres guys r good, after the solo there was more energy. it looked as tho they got warmed up after the first half of the song.

  • Well done for putting up this video.

Hope that people will go on to support the band by buying their album later this month.

    Hope you enjoyed the concert.

  • Dude these guys are awesome live!!!

  • GREAT VID ! HOW DID YOU SHOOT THIS?

  • Lots of patience, 2 cameras filming (both panasonic) and a steady hand :)

  • Excellent vid. Good job fella.

    Awesome band.

  • Fucking sick

I'm looking out for this band, they have great potential
