Is he speaking in a Russian accent so the reporter would understand him better (he's definitely speaking English), or did it thicken when his voice broke? Because he did NOT have an obvious Russian accent before his voice deepened.

@MadameRumblefisher It is really in-between. Like parts are really straight southern California with a hind of a Slovakian influence and parts are very northeastern England.
