  • Christianity is fraud---it needs to be destroyed.

  • AMEN 100% CORRECT DO NOT GO TO CHURCH IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE HAVING THE MARK OF THE BEAST - THE OBSERVANCES OF APOSTASY COME OUT OF BABYLON FOLLOW JESUS ONLY AND LOVE EVERYONE BE SEPARATE FROM THE WORLDS ERRORS AMEN GOD IS LOVE

  • We should use the churches to get the unbelievers that are trying to get to know God.

Believing in Jesus Christ is not a religion. It is what us humans should do. "Religion" is man made.

  • Babylon will fall!

  • Many religious people have *NO CLUE* who Jesus really is, nor do they care.

  • My faith was greatly diminished... when I went to church... after I was saved. Many, many unbelievers "go to church". Church is where the devil does his best work, I think.

  • Wow, that's very strong to call others in church "unbelievers", I wouldn't necessarily go that far.

However, because of the inevitable divisions that happen between churches, which are only man-made institutions, and that going to church is today actually a good way to alienate your friends and all those who might have a relationship with God, instead of bring them aboard, church seems more detrimental than ever. But if one is weak in faith, go for it.

  • finnally the true definition of "chruch" is reveal. For is it not written Christ is the head we the body. bride+groom. Isn't it written u r the temple... isn't it written where heaven is...Jesus Christ told us where. we the believers r the chruch. We must keep holy and sanctified 4 he resides in us.

  • you can only operate in the kingdom of light

  • I feel that Church isn't bad but if you intend to fellowship with nonbelievers then you go against God's will. A good example would be a new age Church that claims many ways to Heaven rather than the true way.

  • Hebrews 10:25: Forsake NOT the assembly of the saints.

  • Richard - I don't think these Scriptures refer just to fellowship. They equally apply to voting, charity and social action.

  • Acts 17:24 "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands"

  • at 1:26 thats one evil looking easter bunny.

I came out of the church, because I personally felt the Lord leading me to leave the church building.

People who have left the church building report reading their bible every day as apposed to once a week during service, and furthermore, you have to rely on God to teach you, not some man standing infront of a pulpit so it challenges your faith even more and strengthens it, todays church model is unbiblical

  • good message, awful song lol.

I don't think advising people not to attend church isnt the best idea either. Not all churches are bad. "going to church" is one of the main ways most Christians fellowship with other Christians.

  • It may be the main way. But, is it what Yahweh is telling us To do or Not do!

  • "But, is it what Yahweh is telling us To do or Not do! "

From the scripture you quoted it sounds like Jesus is telling us to fellowship with other believers. I guess I always that that's what "church" is. (I know we are the Church also) :)

This goes deeper with me though because I am married to a non believer (I got saved after I got married). I wish I knew how to deal with that one! haha

  • I think the problem comes in when we understand that the word "church" is from a Pagan Sun goddess, and is not in scripture once. It's man made LOL....just like every religion.

Eklessia is "out calling or called out" just like Richard said here. We are called out-not in. I was also saved after I was married also but my wife is a believer. I'd be interested in how one does this being married to an unbeliever.

  • Richard, Although I agree with your setiment here, what do you say to a believer who still goes to "church" even though most things taught there are wrong? I asked him and he says" I may be needed there one day". He knows the truth and understands the folly known as church. They could never make him think that Christmas or Easter are scriptural and they could never make him believe that Sunday worship is proper etc. I think he is the exception to the rule. What say you?

  • "I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people- not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. (1 Cor. 5:9-11)

  • LOL There ya have it.

  • Keep prayin' sister :)

  • @galaxydreams I think church is ok, I think this guy is wrong on some stuff. As for traditions, people will or will not do them, and I guess if you have little kids that why most people do what they do at holiday times. As for the church there is nothing wrong with going. Just most people give money to, to the local preacher, assuming everything else is in order about that person. But remember God is with you always, which our cultures has forgetten.
