does anybody know the story about the dog that had come to a prison group therapy meeting and meets cat that dispises? it was on this american life not sure which episode? anybody?
Good luck-I have been looking for that as well. I even typed in keywords like "feck" and "nopples" to see if I could find more info on it. I'd be surprised if a copy even exists, as it seems the type of book most people discard-and wouldn't appreciate it the way we would.
Does anyone know if David Sedaris has any CDs or spoken word albums out? I love his voice and his work... he just makes his own writing shine. I thirst for it sometimes when I'm surrounded by shitty writing as college.
sara palin has some big ass titties. i want to suck on them so hard it creates a wormhole and then i can fuck jesus in the ass before he gets crucified.
Wow. That sounds like some of the people in my extended family! Pretty lame to spend your whole life missing out on things because those closest to you badmouth and criticize them :-| A delightful yarn with a powerful message.
A few? years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand(SORRY BOUT SPAM THIS REALLY FREAKS ME
Never heard this one before and I own the box set and all his books! THANKS alot! I love this guys writing! And doing his own readings is like the author directing the movie!
me talk pretty one day is an awesome book (my favorite David Sedaris book I think) personally I have read Naked, Barrel Fever, Me Talk Pretty One Day, and Dress Your Kids in Curdoruy and Denim. I'm working on Holidays on Ice. It is very pleasant listening to him, his words have a very natural flow.
thanks for watching! I listen to TAL very often too, but David Sedaris is usually my favorite act on their show when they have him on. I'm glad you liked it.
LOVE Sedaris!

You just had to know that such a keen and observant mind as Sedaris's would record angst as well.

Great that he's finally published a book with these. Even though they're never my favorites, they are cute

Go to Itunes. His live at Carnegie Hall is the best. NPR also has him in a "Driveway Moments"

He has a bunch. Most of his books he has released on "tape" as well. His last, "When You are Engulfed In Flames" is excellent.
