I love Carly on floor because she is so clean and precise. She is not one of those gymnasts who flails around. Carly means every movement she does and does everything full out.

@jaszmina9: You're so right about that flailing around. Svetlana Khorkina was running around and saluting to the judges in a very weird way just to hide her lack of precision. Can't stand it when people say she was underscored all the time. She wasn't that solid in Athens...

@Ewout12345 I agree, I don't get why people say she has no artistry, she uses the music well and has lots of energy. Khorkina was dominant in her prime, but in 2004 she was no longer in peak form. Carly earned the gold, fair and square.

I've always hated how she stands in the corner and does that little hand thing just before her third pass. It just seems like she could have done a bit more with that part.

When they said she missed on vault, they were referring to her twisting crooked and landing over the OOB line, which she also did a couple nights later in AA... and in prelims she barely stayed inside the lines.

i love that leo on her!!!!!!!! back then the russians were actiwally a challenge... i think she should have well could have made EF on floor cuz in olympic training camp she got a ten on floor. but then it was allot less pressure.
