Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work
38And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we[a] have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.
Many people don't realize that there are ways to do a surgery without blood. But instead take the easy way out and end up getting aids or the wrong blood type. Without jws the bloodless surgery wouldn't have been so common now a days.
The watchtower awake magazine contained this statement "Most importantly, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new order before the generation that saw the events of 1914 C.E passes away". WTF? Absolute bullshit and lies from the borganisation!!
People get many infections and diseases from blood. They only have a few categories for blood-type A+, A-, B+, B-, O+,O-, (I think these are all of them). They test for these types only. But ACTUALLY,there are 500 separate components to check ,and could NEVER match. It's too costly to do. 5% of Aids is caught in blood.Even all this, we LISTEN to Jehovah God in the bible he says do not eat blood-Genesis9:4; Leviticus 3:17,7:26:17:10,13,14; Deuternomy 12:16,23;Acts 15:20,29;21:25
You know,I found the greatest, most EFFECTIVE WAY to get rid of the GUILT of leaving Jehovah's Witnessess..YOU won't believe how free you feel, how good life can be..FOR REAL..I left Jehovah's Witnesses 5 TIMES! I felt so bad,so rotten, so lowly.I felt WORTHLESS! I couldn't stand to be in my own skin! I understand how frustrating it can be..TRULY HARD!! Well, here is the BEST answer you could ever, ever, ever, find, I guarantee! Here it is...ready for it? OK, it's easy-GO BACK : D
i know a girl who received blood transfusions and was temporarily paralyzed. shes not a jw but she swore she would never take one again or give it to her kids
It is amazing that they would murder their loved ones because Satan's organization the WT tells them to....commit he sin of murder to avoid committing something that they have misinterpreted as sin.
Jesus' words from Mat 12
11 And He said to them, "What man is there among you who has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out?
12 "How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath."
@SpecialPioneerSmerf I remember when I was a kid we had a few witnesses who came to our house and had a bug up their sleeve over using aluminum cookware.
"As a result of the publication of wholesome truth on the subject, there are fewer people now purchasing aluminum cooking utensils than heretofore. There is also a pronounced drop in the cancer death rate. Much aluminum used: many cancers. Less aluminum used: fewer cancers."
WT 52/2/1 pp.95-6
"Sweeping claims for cures by this or that system are always suspect. As stated before, each individual differs."
Notice how the WT points itself out as being suspect LOL
Even so, the information from the watchtower is geared toward gaining more members, and hence attaining greater income for the society. The message they are spreading is that they are going to live on a paradise earth, and to be saved, you must be a Jehovah's Witness. A classic example of mind control practices for the weak and undiscerning.
You are correct, information is the medical community is very biased toward profitability. There are many independent laboratories that have developed successful cures for diabetes and cancer, but they cannot get investors, since the cost of a lifetime of treatment far exceeds a one time cure.
Bloodless medicine has been hopped up and blown out of proportion by the watchtower. I suggest reading some reliable, medical literature on the subject. Besides, as the author of this video illustrates, either it's wrong, or it's not. If hemoglobin is ok, and other constituents not available through any source but blood, and is acceptable, then why isn't whole blood accepted? What if years from now, the watchtower changes it's policy again and allows blood transfusions, what does that say for al
@chrisjones655 - Have you ever seen the long list of rules the Watchtower has for what parts of blood are and are not acceptable for JW's? They keep updating their rules -- no wonder doctors have a hard time knowing what they can and cannot do with JW patients. And who did Jesus criticize for long lists of rules? Pharisees.
According to the JW on here, "God says do not consume other people's blood." But the blood fractions the WT says they can have come from other people's blood!!
@chrisjones655 Reliable "medical literature" Sorry there is NO such thing! Cigarette companies paid "experts" to say there cics were safe... big pharma does EXACTLY the same thing today! They say " hey our products work and they are safe and just look and what the experts WE HAVE PAID TO SAY SO...LOOK AT THEIR EVIDENCE! iT IS IRREFUTABLE! WHAT WE PAID THEM TO SAY CANNOT BE CONTESTED.
@ClausenLT [Cigarette companies paid "experts" to say there cics were safe] And now there's warnings on each box, a high tax on each box, and an age-minimum to be met for purchasing each box.
"big pharma does EXACTLY the same thing today!" Generally and statistically-speaking the tests and experiments are considerably unbiased.
Now I don't disagree that there is a profit-oriented motive (no profit means no living, fyi). But, in fact, science works on EVIDENCE, and NOT AUTHORITY.
This was shown with cigarettes just as well with methods of cancer treatment, X-rays, CAT-scans, amputation, organ transplants, vaccination, and other such ideas/methods/principles/treatments/etc both psuedo-scientific purely scientific, both rejected and approved.
To quote from an amazing manga: "With a keen eye for details, only one truth prevails!" And both pharmaceutical and medical fields have shown this claim to be undeniably true.
Jesus has been King since His ascension to Heaven, yet the watchtower claims this was a modern day, invisible event. It's ridiculous to me to even postulate such dogma. Scripture is quite clear that at the coming of Christ, every eye shall see, and every knee shall bow...The average witness is completely oblivious to the pyramidology and astrology used to arrive at 1914. Their theology is easily disproven by comparing Scripture with Scripture.
Blood topic. Give a big Plus for Jehovah's Witnesses and the Bible. God says do not comsume other people's blood. We follow that command from God as True Christians. Now have you read the latest news on blood? The U.S. Military is seeking training on how to use "Bloodless Medicine". See, Jehovah God is running this thing, you can't stop it now. Mankind had their chance and failed to run this earth peacefully. King Jesus is taking over spiritually first.
Yet Jesus healed the man. How much more should we strive to save a life? Biblical law condemns no man for receiving medical treatment. It is written...the law was created for man and not man for the law
Back to the topic of blood...Obviously, they didn't have life saving blood transfusion at the writing of the Bible. The blood spoken of to avoid was part of ritualistic practices, and was not intended as critical medical treatment. We do however, have the mind of Christ. When he healed a man on the Sabbath day, the scribes and Pharisees sought occasion against Him. The observance of the Sabbath is one of the ten commandments, which are generally considered the most important to obey, yet Jesus
I like these videos. It's sad that so many people with otherwise good intentions fall victim to this organization. At least it's only a very small percentage of the population. If people are so easily deceived by a group with a proven history of false predictions and changing beliefs, when the son of perdition stands in the Holy place, what chance do any of these people have in avoiding his deception?
Go ahead and keep trying to stay here, I'm following Jesus into his Kingdom. Pay attention friends, Jehovah's Witnesses is not a cult. Say it slowly say "Jehovah's" which is God's real name in english, say it slowly "Jehovah's" then say "Witness", now do you get it? Now say, "I am Jehovah's Witness" I'm witnessing to people about Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. When you curse Jehovah's Witnesses think about what you are saying in your mind.
Scripture says: Those that try to save there life will loose it, those that loose there life for my sake will save it and enter life eternal. Many want to go to heaven, but knowone wants to die to get there. Jehovah's Witnesses teach bible, and the bible says the "Real Life" starts after death in the "new earth", if you believe the bible.
I'm a newly baptized Christian of Jehovah's Witnesses, I'm extremely happy of my fellowship as a Brother of Jehovah's Witnesses. I've done my own research, and I agree with all there explanations to date. I came out of false christiandom and the traditions of men. I agree with Acts 15:29, to abstain from blood, this only applies to True Christians, so if you're not a True Bible Believing Christian it doesn't apply to you. I know first hand what contaminated blood will do. You've been warned.
People, please do not assume you can stump a Jehova's witness by watching a short Youtube video. They have an answer for everything and know (their) bible(New World Translation) better than most evangelical protestant types know theirs. People who debate them without being scholarly about God's word only make fools of themselves. The best thing a person can do is KNOW what they believe and know the scriptures to back it up and you will have no problem stating your case.
@meadow2009ful happy to hear that you want to become baptized I do to I am still a student and I have more bible knowledge than pastors at churches lol
Sometimes there ARE no viable alternative to a blood transfusion. In those cases, it has been PROVEN to have better effects on patients than those whose didn't get lifesaving treatment because of what their JW parents or religious leaders said.
So I asked two J.W. the question from this video: "would you ever donate blood so that the fractions could save the life of another Witness?" and thier answer was no. They said that only using fractions made from your own blood was acceptable and that using fractions from someone elses blood is against Jehovah's law.
The only thing, which opens JW minds it is unfair, cold judgment by elders, and been branded an apostate. Thats what some comments do here. Watchtower Society and THE GOVERNING BODY. THIS IS REAL EVIL BEHIND SHUNNING POLICY, APOSTASY, FEAR TECHNIQUES ETC. Watchtower SOCIETY AND GOVERNING BODY - THIS IS REAL EVIL WHO CREATeS THIS HORRIBLE JUDGMENT POLICY USED BY ELDERS... A note to JW, who think Governing Body is directed by Holy Spirit, please you dont really want to be judged by elders!!!!!!!
2:54 ..did I hear no 'shifting opinions??' What is 'new light' if not a shifting opinion? I love this channel. I had to get out of the Watchtower, I couldn't stay in and work to get others out from within....it was too much!
could I invite him in and try to convert him to my religion? Offer him a beer and some spaghetti and meat sauce and to watch Pirates of the Carribian? Beer and spagh and meat balls, (or meatless balls) hard to resist! RAMEN!
I am looking for help, I need someone who can provide me with a scan of a of a blood card and identity card to help show te family court so I can prevent my kids from being killed, please if you can help please msg me, thank you
@exJWtoo your kids are not being killed. there are many hospitals that dobloodless surgery and it has been PROVEN to have better effect on patients than the ones who got blood. its a remarcable thing and you should really look into it. JW'S dont teach kids to be disrespectful, instead they are taught to be honorable law abiding citizens. the teachings of god are good but seem bad because everyone wants to have freedom without boundaries, and a life without boundaries leads to distruction
@bellastar201 So the children that died before the alternatives are what? Forgotten. Exactly. Besides, you belong to a religion that changes it's own doctrine (repeatedly). So what was wrong yesterday might be OK tomorrow. Sheep. That's why the Elders are said to be shepards. Good luck to you.
@seattleman74 of course their not forgotten why will you say that? that they have found their favor with Jehovah he will not forget them and we wont either you have teenagers that gave up their lives for their creator and I admire them for doing that because I will do the same thing if that situation comes upon me
This is funny beccause now the US Military is investing Millions of grant money to find out more about "Bloodless" surgery due to disease and health issue. I'm ex military and I immediately thought about the JWs. My wife's family is JWs and I was hard on them for that. But I guess I didn't know what apparently they did. I now have much respect for them and i apologize for the things i've said.
@NBAGOATS - Yes it's true that bloodless surgery is better when possible. However in many cases it isn't possible. The Watchtower now has set up a maze of rules about what "blood fractions" are and aren't permissible for their members. So even the JW's aren't entirely bloodless now.
In any case, is life sacred or not? If a JW were to take a whole-blood transfusion their religion would rule them as no longer being a JW. Their rules are more important than the sacredness of life.
@cooper79jeffr - From what I understand, they're not governed by any rules. But more so principles based on the bible. I am a newbie and is learning a lot from them that I didn't learn as a Baptist. I've been apart of many religions and what i don't get is,...when someone try to convince you about having THEIR view about a certain religion or its practices. If you don't like you don't like. Thats YOUR choice. Why does it have to be mine? I have no respect for those individuals.
@NBAGOATS - Based on my decades of experience as a Witness, I would tell you that the WT Society's regulations on blood is a set of rules, because they have literature specifically outlining what elements of blood are and are not acceptable. One who doesn't follow the regulations could be viewed as having separated themselves from the JW's, resulting in being cut off (treated as dead).
@NBAGOATS -- Regarding your 2nd point about religious discussion - I agree. It's often been said that one shouldn't discuss politics or religion in polite company. However some religions teach that belief in THEIR system is vital. This causes disputes.
If you're thinking of becoming JW, you should know now that you'll be expected to go to people's homes to convince strangers that their religious belief is inferior to the Watchtower brand.
@cooper79jeffr all who belive in God if they are main stream or jw should witness to people but we should not judge othere peoples beliefs i am an INHERITOR we belive in jah we belive in wintnesing to people from door to door but we dont make our people go out if they dont want, when the time is write maybe, prase jehovah and his son,
@NBAGOATS - BTW I see you are a professional basketball fan. Do you know if we'll ever get a "professional" men's team in Minnesota? I understand had one when a certain "Kevin Garnett" played here, but my memory is getting quite fuzzy. :)
@NBAGOATS The "Bloodless surgery is good" line is not true. PubMed is a site with info on medical studies. Search for "bloodless surgery" there and you'll see that it's all trumped up by the JW's. There's no value found.
If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things. Why not? Because all the evidence in fulfillment of Bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years. Of the generation that observed the beginning of the 'last days' in 1914, Jesus foretold:'This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.' Therefore as a young person, you will never...blah blah..
@asstezz - I was 8 years when the Awake printed the untruth that I would never grow old in this present system. They went on to say in the same article that pursuing a career in this world would be pointless. Then 10 years later when I graduated from high school the circuit overseer and his wife made a point to come discourage me, not only from attending college but even from attending a 25-week technical school. I went to the tech school - and it was the best decision I ever made.
@cooper79jeffr the slave class are the people that have made the break through....that the christinity is one big houx.....all the churches suck to.... the kingdom hall was the begining of the clearing of the matrix of illusions that is controlling humanity...like christmas and other lies that churches and goverment tell us....thank you WTS....never stop seeking....and you will find the truth.....AMEN...
@TheVipernick - I disagree. The Watchtower religion is just as much sleight-of-hand and superstition as any other religion. They don't teach truth, because they keep changing their doctrines like a shell game. It's a game, and you're being fooled if you trust the men @ WT Headquarters in Brooklyn.
@cooper79jeffr the kingdom hall teaches that all of christindom ..came from pagen or sun worship....witch is to be true...so there is a lot of truth that you can get from the WTS. that you cant get from the church....
@TheVipernick - In 1969 they stated it was a "fact' that the end was so near that I wouldn't grow old in this world's system and that it would be worthless to pursue a career. Was that true? They used to teach that people alive in 1914 would see Armageddon. Now 96 years have passed, and they don't teach that any more. The things they taught then were NOT the truth. So how do you know that what they say now won't be changed a few years later? Truth doesn't change, but the Watchtower always does.
@cooper79jeffr if you watch ....RING OF POWER ....parts 7 -12 you will know moor than most people.....you realy should watch parts 1-29.....let me know what you think...
@TheVipernick - I don't go for "special knowledge" of world events any more. After my experience with the JW's, I have a high resistance to people claiming special knowledge. I don't go for conspiracy theory. Even in the unlikely event such a theory was true, it would not contribute to my personal well-being to know because it would not change my life one iota. I have my own life to live.
I dont understand why people are still stuck on this no blood transfusion thing, because of them hospitals have made surgery better with out blood BLOODLESS SURGERY!!! look it up and research the good outcome of that!! people have less complication after surgery and they recover faster.
@bellastar201 bellastar201 "I dont understand why people are still stuck on this no blood transfusion thing"
lol thats because your a stupid idiot. only stupid people end up in cults, the cult members die for the cults medical advice you sick little freak lol
The Witnesses of the Jehovah rule when all other people are quiet or say nothing.
The religion is named in the Western countries by a laugh or done by the Jehovah Witnesesses. It´s not that like at all. I admire witnesses when they keep their truth in themselves and don´t push too hard.
@FinnMove - It's in the JW's blood to "push" religion. They're evangelical. They go door-to-door with the message that every other religion is wrong, and that those who don't believe the message will die soon at Armageddon.
Don't get me wrong, some JW's are very nice people. The point is, they think you and I will die because we disagree. The Watchtower is a divisive force, in a way different than many other religions who are not so insecure about different viewpoints.
@cooper79jeffr we go door to door because jesus commanded us too and yes we care about you. it is not the JW who say armageddon is near. it is the bible. no one knows when it will come. but it is not that we are proving any one wrong, we just encourage you to look into your bible. you know when you have a passion in your heart you want to tell others, same w/ JW's we love Jehovah w/ our whole heart and want others to learn what we have.
@shihtzufizzers - I don't doubt your passion. People from many religions have passion, believe me! Actually the Watchtower Society has claimed that the Bible said the end was near many times before now. 1914, 1915, 1925, 1975, and "before the 20th century ends" were time periods that they made people think the end was coming. They were wrong then. What makes you think that the claims that "the end is near" is any more true now in 2010 then it was in 1910?
@cooper79jeffr the WT society itself never claimed that any of those dates were the end of the systems of things. some may have thought that but the society never promoted it.
@shihtzufizzers - The WTS wants you to believe that they never promoted those dates. But let's get real here. The WT Society DID promote the date. Where did people get the ideas in the first place, if not from the Watchtower Society?
In the 1/15/1892 Zion's Watch Tower, C.T. Russell wrote: "the battle of the great day of God Almighty The date of the close of that "battle" is definitely marked in Scripture as October 1914. It is already in progress, its beginning dating from October, 1874".
@shihtzufizzers - Here's what else the Russell wrote about 1914:
"A.D. 33, to A.D. 70 was 36 ½ years; and so from A.D. 1878 to the end of A.D. 1914 is 36 ½ years. And, with the end of A.D. 1914, what God calls Babylon, and what men call Christendom, will have passed away, as already shown in prophecy." Studies In the Scriptures Series III - Thy Kingdom Come (1891) p.153
@shihtzufizzers - (Post #1 for 1975) You might think the WTs never promoted the 1975 date, but consider these quotes from the literature in the 9 years preceding 1975.
The book "Things in Which it is Impossible for God to Lie" was published in 1966 and released at the conventions. That book stirred much interest, as documented in the Watchtower.
"Nothing has created more interest in this textbook than the first chapter with its chart and fine information regarding the 7,000 years of God's rest day. The observation that 1975 may well mark the beginning of mankind's great Jubilee has intrigued many." -- Watchtower 1/1/67 pg.29
'What about the year 1975? What is it going to mean, dear friends?' asked Brother Franz. 'Does it mean that Armageddon is going to be finished, with Satan bound, by 1975? It could! It could! All things are possible with God. Does it mean that Babylon the Great is going to go down by 1975? It could." - WT 10/15/66 pg.631
While not a direct prophecy, this was definitely a promotion of the idea of the date.
it is so nice how how thiis video is made but it seems like this video is made by an apostate or someone that clearly doesn't know what the bible says. Throughout the bible there are so many references to abstain from blood. If you people would just blow the dust off of your bibles and read it you would see that from leviticus:3:17. There are so many more references in the bible as to abstaining from blood that they are so much to mention. If you'd like the truth about Jehovah's witnesses,,,
@rtstephens1773 - Leviticus 3:17 is part of the old Israelite law that JW's acknowledge was done away with when Jesus died.
Actually the video shows true things about the Watchtower's death-dealing policy on blood medicine. The 1994 Awake cover showed children who DIED on the principle that a symbol of life (blood) is more sacred than life itself. This is monstrous & wrong.
The 2004 WT shown in the video tells JW's that all blood fractions are okay. So how is that "abstaining" from blood?
First off as you say dust our bibles off, how about you clean your glasses. Lets look at the whole verse not just part. (Le:3:17: It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.) It also says fat. I am sure you ingest fat intermingled with the meat you eat so you must be unclean to then. Also as you guys say you need to look at it in context. This verse is talking about a sacrificial animal.
Well if we follow scripture what does Mark 7:15 say. Also if the life is in the blood and the blood is to sustain life than it is being used for the very thing it was meant for. The fluid does not get ingested and it is not from a sacrificed life. What about Lev:3:17 I am sure you have ingested fat in the past. I don't know of a Orthodox Jew or a Doctor that would consider a blood transfusion the equivalent of eating blood via mouth. Orthodox Jews don't even refuse blood transfusions.
The JW's say we need to look at the context. So look at how it is being used. As you tell us to blow off the dust from our Bibles. Shouldn't you take 2 Timothy 2:24-25 into consideration. Don't be rude but show patience.
@rtstephens1773 I AM RIGHT WITH YOU. THERE IS SO MUCH APOSTATE MATERIAL ON YOU TUBE. IT IS SAD ON HOW SATAN HAS RUINED SO MANY LIFES. YES, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT JW'S JUST ASK ONE
2:08 I have heard the theory that The Watchtower Society is doing this because if they changed the policy against blood transfusions suddenly they would be slammed with lawsuits. So the WT Society might be getting JWs used to the idea of accepting blood transfusions by small gradual changes.
@tubian323 - I have heard that, too. The Watchtower's Legal department is in conflict with their Service department which is supposed to run the spiritual show. Apparently the Legal dept. is preventing a complete change (a.k.a. "new light") regarding the blood doctrine.
They have to let the old generation of JW's (who still feel that even "blood fractions" are wrong) die off before they crap the blood doctrine.
(How many JW's baptized in the last 25 years even know about the 1975 fiasco?)
"However, though leeches parasitically feed on the blood in their natural state at present, it would not be proper for a Christian to permit leeches to draw his blood...[That] would involve deliberately feeding blood to these creatures..."
@THEBEREANZ - Are you kidding me? That's a REAL quote from the Watchtower? I was in the JW organization back in '82, but don't remember that one. I must have been in a trance, just taking everything in and nodding obediently.
That quote is bizarre and wrong on so many levels. Where in the Bible does it say leeches cannot take blood? Doesn't blood-letting and feeding occur regularly in the nature that people believe God designed? Why does the WT meddle in people's medical decisions. So wrong.
Only someone like you can believe this garbage; you accuse of death children because no transfusion, then what is all this about fractions of blood. your video is contradicting in itself. you are a complete liar.
@wertyh11 -The May 22, 1994 cover of Awake magazine showed a montage of J.W. children who died and had NO blood transfusion. It's like they are proud of the deaths of these children.
So what it is it about fractions of blood? Why allow fractions if, as Natasha says, the Bible says "abstain"? How is taking fractions abstaining?
The Watchtower shouldn't enforce medical decisions on parents.
Here's what makes me mad: CHILDREN. DEAD. WT proudly featured dead children on a magazine cover.
You are to focus in this little space of time into this world when we have an eternity promise by God if we maintain on the laws given on the Book. Adam & Eve died becouse of the desovidience; Adam lived over 800 years died and lost the privilege of eternal life. you are angry becaouse of your ignorance to the fact, nothing more.
@wertyh11 - You can have all the "faith" you want as an adult. Go ahead, sacrifice your current life for some future reward you think you have. But don't do this to children. Let them grow up to be full adults and then make life-or-death choices.
I'm not ignorant, I know the Bible well. Am I angry over the premature deaths of hundreds or thousands of kids over a controversial religious doctrine? Yes.
Children. Dead. Proudly featured by the WT Society on a magazine cover. For shame.
I.m glad you do underastand is faith involved, some other people are so dull to comprehend this,by the way , is great that you know the Book you might one day consentrate your understanding in this matter; stop been angry, life has no guarantees if you are unconcious someone has to make a disicion for you; you know what i mean, be intelectual.
None of JW find this doctrin controversial
is people like you on the other side of the fence that find it wrong,
@wertyh11 - My sense of justice makes me very unhappy when any cruelty is perpetuated upon children. The Watchtower's death-dealing teaching is wrong. Dead children! Displayed on their magazine! You seem to support that, implying their death doesn't matter, it's only temporary.
I don't really care what holy books say about death. Nobody knows for sure. This life we have now is the only one we know we'll have for certain.
Your religion makes you gamble that some better life is coming.
Yes my deer Cooper, we can go on and on, but you mentioned that you sensed that this was faith involved and also mentioned that you know the Book very well; more children die because of hunger, yet it is phrofetized by the book, any way; Jesus died and was resurrected Lasarus was resur- also again faith my friend.
@wertyh11 - I'll respond this way: I do not think faith is a virtue to be respected. It is superstition. Where reasoning stops, faith begins. Too many religions hide behind the shield of "righteous faith" to get away with inhumane acts.
The JW's do so by gambling their children's lives away based on faith in some future resurrection. The results: "Dead children -- proudly featured on a magazine cover!" This is heinous.
Apples-oranges: Hunger due to government corruption is also terrible.
@wertyh11 - If I were to post a YouTube video espousing certain views, then they'd be open for discussion. Until then it's pointless to wander into a side conversation about who believes what.
I think the Bible when followed would lead a person to try to value life rather than to try to "strain the gnat" regarding some imagined principle about blood symbolizing life.
I think, no, I know children should not die because their parents choose religious dogma over the sanctity of life itself.
1.56 If you look in the green area, that's not from actual human blood. That's man made blood alternatives. Such as that clear yellow liquid. Only the boxes in the pink category are genuine human blood.
Even non Jehovah's witnesses are condoning bloodless surgeries because of faster healing and reduced risk of catching HIV and AIDS. In extreme cases, accepting blood can make a women infertile.
@Natashaaaaaaaa - At 1:56, not everything in the "green" area are man-made alternatives. Fractions are not man made, but are fractions of the blood itself.
Before 1979, the WTS even disallowed fractions. Did you know that? They started to relax the rules for their hemophiliac members, and then later for all members as a "conscience decision".
So since they disallowed even fractions 31 and more years ago, obviously they did so because they came from human blood (not poured out).
JW's DO allow infusion of parts of blood now. They use fractions. Fractions contain parts of real blood, and that is why the JW's had entirely prohibited fractions prior to 1979.
So now since they're able to use "fractions" which are parts of blood donated from strangers, exactly what principle is the Watchtower now upholding?
Their "fractions" teaching is like saying you can't eat a whole sandwich but you can eat bread, ham and cheese separately.
Wait, you are here defending the witnesses with the excuse "But i'm sure there's an explanation for it"?
Well I'm no bible scholar but to me logic would dictate that you would first have scriptural proof and then change your doctrine, I think you guys have it backwards.
The thing is, that's the ONLY scriptural proof that applies to Christians. There are other laws in the Old Testament regarding blood, but according to The Watchtower Society modern Christians are not under mosaic law. Couldn't it be that Paul was talking to Christians in the first century only? Or maybe Paul was talking about abstaining from the shedding of blood?
@cooper79jeffr BLOOD FRACTION IS NOT LIFE GIVING BLOOD IN ITSELF. WHOLE BLOOD IS. JUST A SCIENCE THROUGH TIME HAS GROWN, SO HAS THE UNDERSTANDING OF BLOOD IN THE JW FAITH. JUST THINK, IF WE ALL DIDN'T GROW , DRS WOULD STILL BLEED PEOPLE OUT AS A CURE FOR WHATEVER AILMENT THEY HAVE. SAME WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF BLOOD.
@shihtzufizzers - Review your organization's history. It once taught "abstain from blood" meant not taking any part of blood from any other human, on the principle that blood is a symbol of life. Starting in 1979, they gradually allowed fractions - first to hemophiliacs.
So I ask you - is the Watchtower really standing by the "abstain from blood" principle if they let you take fractions? The WTS' current stance is a set of man's laws and is not based on Bible principle liked it used to be.
@cooper79jeffr medically speaking. the understanding of blood and its fractions are becoming more understood. yet it is a conscience matter on whether you accept franctions or not. whole blood is not accepted. fractions by themselves does not make whole blood. and 'BTW i am not looking for an arguemnt to win. i am not even looking for agruments period. are you?
@shihtzufizzers - When you get on here and dismiss anyone with views different than yours with a pejorative term like "apostate" and say things like "they can try but will never win", it doesn't make you appear like you're here for a reasonable discussion. But maybe you're here in the spirit of 1 Peter 3:15 which says to be ready to answer everyone who asks the reason for your hope. We may not change our minds, but we can gain something from the experience.
@shihtzufizzers - Red cell fractions are allowed by Watchtower leadership. The hemoglobin fraction which is allowed constitutes 97% of the red blood cell. Will you answer my original question: What Bible principle is being upheld by allowing fractions but not whole blood transfusions? It seems that their stance "strains the gnat" while gulping the camel - that larger thing being the sanctity of life itself..
"In view of the short time left, a decision to pursue a career in this system of things is not only unwise but extremely dangerous." Kingdom Ministry, June 1969, p. 3.
"Reports are heard of brothers selling their homes and property and planning to finish out the rest of their days in this old system in the pioneer service. Certainly this is a fine way to spend the short time remaining before the wicked world's end." Kingdom Ministry, May 1974, p. 3.
@cooper79jeffr but nowhere does it say that the end WILL be here in 1975. it says could. it could come tomorrow who knows. yes the end is near. many faiths now believe that through the prophecies in the bible. not just the JW's
@shihtzufizzers - Yes they generated excitement, but the WTS knew better than to say the exact words "the end will be here in 1975". In that way they created plausible deniability, and would be able to continue to survive to convince future generations that the end is near just like they've been claiming for 13 decades now. Yes there are other "adventist" groups like yours. So what.
@cooper79jeffr well the main point is that the bible says that only Jehovah knows when the end will come. not even his son or the angels know, I go by that. Even if it is 50 generations who cares. Jehovah is being patient for he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but to repent and come back to him ( thats in the bible) but I have nothing against you, just enjoy life and be happy
Wow! This is the most corrupt statement I have ever heard about the Watchtower Society. If it is acurate, how can anyone who loves God still tolerate this apostate organization? I don't want to be judgmental, because that is not Christlike but owe my lord!
@asstezz - That's right. If the WT Society is trying to control its followers through a flurry of confusing teachings, they're sure doing a good job!! BTW another word for Babel is "confusion".
That's why they are called the Watchtower Babble and Crap society.
They are told the acceptance of blood fractions from donated blood is a matter of conscience. Watch Tower literature claims the donation of blood is unbiblical, since this would be seen as condoning blood transfusions. The only way for fractions of blood to become available for use is through the storing and processing of such blood donations. very contradictory
Regardless of what the watchtower does,or does not tell you to do.its quite obvious what their stance is,And those of us that grew up in JW homes know what goes on behind closed doors.
"FredTorres1000" and all other JW's always point the finger to other religions faults,as if their evils were any lesser. The question of blood is all semantics, but child molestation, lets see you defend that.
In Conclusion, the video is remarkably without legal, ethical, medical and religous context. In a country where there are 1.2 million abortions yearly, with 70% of those identified as either Catholic or Protestant and 19% by minors, without sanction from ecclesiastical bodies, the greatest threat of all to innocent life is ignored.
Due to the lack context of any type, a potentially informative video comes across as cheap propaganda.
The Watchtower does neither approves or disapproves, or endorse the use of blood fractions, therefore the woman at the end of the video is not asking relevant questions.
Since JW's dont donate blood, the real issue is whether the use of the "end product " of fractionization of donated/stored blood is a violation of law on blood.
You would expect to get varied responses to such a question.
RBC,WBC,platelets and plasma are considered tissue, so they can placed correctly as equivalent to whole blood, which is liquid tissue.
To illustrate: eating packed human cells (rbc, wbc, platelets)or connective tissue(plasma/bone) equals eating human tissue(whole blood/flesh)
Below the tissue level the determination of equivalency must be decided freely by the individual person. There is no direct policy on fractions other than that.
The Awake magazine highlighted young ones who were deemed "mature minors" by either the attending physicians or courts of law, who were not Jehovah's Witnesses. This legal principle has also helped non witness children with certain terminal conditions to have a voice in their choice and/or continuation of medical care.
This is sad i feel bad for JW's they are brainwashed and more scared of what the brothers and sisters say about them, more then they are worried about jesus its sad to see people that cant think for themselves anymore i hope god forgives them for they not know what they do...lol
HEY JW's how can you just dismiss the fact that you are in a cult and that it all started with one man who made numerous false prophesies until the day he died.then some followers of his just expanded on that foundation of what russell built.go back and read for yourself older publications there is your proof.if it wasnt for these false prophets your cult might not exist.your are caught up in the worst kind of lying.lying to yourself,if u simply dismiss these simple facts.
Its not false u fucking piece of shit everyone knows that this shit is a cult that brainwashes check on ur history u pice of shit and ask god to forgive u for ur false preaching god doesnt speak of something that never happened including the false dates of the end of the world witnesses live a horrible life
@1962islander um ,yes you were. it was just probably way too hard to. i am sorry for your abuse. but not everyone is a true JW. who claims to be. Again I am sorry, i wish you could of reported it and been able to heal
Too late for those that were KILLED by the WTS when they BANNED ALL blood fractions completely, not too long ago. Would you mind apologizing in behalf of the WTS for their 'mistake' by comforting the families that had loved ones killed that they'll be 'resurrected' in the 'new world order'?
@TeunisD WELL SORRY YOU ARE NOT A TRUE JW. PLEASE BEFORE SATAN GETS YOU ANY MORE. RESEARCH YOUR CONCERNS, TALK TO ONES WHO LOVE YOU , (INCLUDING ME) LOOK UP THE DEFINISION OF CULT. IT DOES NOT FIT. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE SO MANY HAVE MADE. YOUR SISTER
God clearly stated that bloods only use was in sacrifice, and with christ ransom blood has no use to man from that point. Even in the event of death or persecution god's law is always first
Jehovahs witnesses do not worship blood. Blood is your life source, the giver of life if Jehovah. So if his word tells us to " keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you." You would still take blood? You dont believe what the bible says then.
@gurlwittwitt with agape love, don't battle apostates. We know what will come of them. they can try and try but never win. Jehovah will not allow it. and Jehovah does not need you tube to spread his word. your fellow sister
@shihtzufizzers i forgot all about this video loll, I never look at them anymore its like every time you look up Jehovahs Witnesses there's only negative people making videos. I learned that there are some brothers and sisters on here with uplifting videos and i only watch those now.
@gurlwittwitt i am so happy to hear that. me too. lots of negative people out there. manly apostates. agape love sister. from your sister in california
@shihtzufizzers - Have you ever heard the word "eristic"? I just got it in my "word of the day" e-mail, and it means arguing for the sole purpose of winning. Sometimes when we get into conversations about a controversial religion (which JW's are), people can become eristic.
I'm not here to win arguments. I'm here to try to get to the reality of the matter. I don't believe much JW doctrine, but I will not lie or distort just for the purpose of "winning". Let's base discussions on true history.
Blood is used as a symbol in the bible. It is a symbol for life. What is more sacred - the symbol (blood), or the thing it represents (life)?
Blood transfusions save lives. To refuse a life saving transfusion is to elevate the sacredness of blood above the sacredness of the thing it represents - life.
Do JW's honestly believe that is what God intended?
Jehovah's Witnesses basically worship blood. Every religion needs an idol, and for them it is blood. It's the sacred icon worth dying for.
Yes, plasma can be broken down but it comes from WHOLE, STORED BLOOD! The WTS forbids whole blood and stored blood. They are playing GOD and playing with peoples lives! They should teach the word of God, not act as God! MURDERERS!!!!
hewhocauses, really. Too little too late. Tell that BS to the families that lost loved ones because your mighty WTS BANNED, not even 'allowed' blood fractions some time ago. What are you going to say now, "they'll be resurrected"? Please, do yourself a favor and STFU.
At tuesdays meeting we spoke of blood from our book "keep yourselves in Gods love", it is nothing to do with a change of doctrine. It is since science has proved that plasma can be broken down into fractions the society leave it up to the individual to make that decision. It may still forbid Gods law??? Who knows only the Father.
Sarai217, the WTS is stuck between a rock and a hard place. They can't abandon the blood doctrine and allow transfusions all together because they'll be sued to high heaven. Members of loved one's KILLED by the WT doctrine will wreak havoc! Not only that, it will contribute EXTREME doubt on the WTS and GB. They're not willing to lose that in the name of saving lives. Filthy bastards.
Amazing that they changed it to include blood parts. Could the governing body be trying to squirm it's way out of the blood issue but are too nervous to outrightly allow blood transfusions?
Interesting how blood fractions were unacceptable for JWs until the WT cult changed that to a "conscience matter."
Blood fractions come from donated and stored blood, which JWs can't do. Huge contradiction. How is that abstaining from blood? It's like saying the forbidden fruit is unacceptable to eat, but chopped into small pieces is ok.
The WT should've made both a conscience matter. Unfortunately, the WT decides for JWs when something is a "conscience matter." Cult mind control at work.
thats total crap Luisap64. the apple example is totally off. What your saying is totally unethical. Taking only parts of blood is not like chopping up an apple because the apple is still 100% apple. A better example to show JW dont accept blood is like taking out the potasium of bananas into a pill that you can take for health benefits. now, its not a banana that your taking right? its the components that make the banana. Blood is cut down so many times that its not even considered as blood.
you always have so many questions but you never give any real answers! So why you attack these pople? Is it you that preaches the truth? Reather not!

Many people don't realize that there are ways to do a surgery without blood. But instead take the easy way out and end up getting aids or the wrong blood type. Without jws the bloodless surgery wouldn't have been so common now a days.

Even so, the information from the watchtower is geared toward gaining more members, and hence attaining greater income for the society. The message they are spreading is that they are going to live on a paradise earth, and to be saved, you must be a Jehovah's Witness. A classic example of mind control practices for the weak and undiscerning.
chrisjones655 11 months ago
You are correct, information is the medical community is very biased toward profitability. There are many independent laboratories that have developed successful cures for diabetes and cancer, but they cannot get investors, since the cost of a lifetime of treatment far exceeds a one time cure.
chrisjones655 11 months ago
Bloodless medicine has been hopped up and blown out of proportion by the watchtower. I suggest reading some reliable, medical literature on the subject. Besides, as the author of this video illustrates, either it's wrong, or it's not. If hemoglobin is ok, and other constituents not available through any source but blood, and is acceptable, then why isn't whole blood accepted? What if years from now, the watchtower changes it's policy again and allows blood transfusions, what does that say for al
chrisjones655 11 months ago
@chrisjones655 - Have you ever seen the long list of rules the Watchtower has for what parts of blood are and are not acceptable for JW's? They keep updating their rules -- no wonder doctors have a hard time knowing what they can and cannot do with JW patients. And who did Jesus criticize for long lists of rules? Pharisees.
According to the JW on here, "God says do not consume other people's blood." But the blood fractions the WT says they can have come from other people's blood!!
cooper79jeffr 11 months ago
@chrisjones655 Reliable "medical literature" Sorry there is NO such thing! Cigarette companies paid "experts" to say there cics were safe... big pharma does EXACTLY the same thing today! They say " hey our products work and they are safe and just look and what the experts WE HAVE PAID TO SAY SO...LOOK AT THEIR EVIDENCE! iT IS IRREFUTABLE! WHAT WE PAID THEM TO SAY CANNOT BE CONTESTED.
ClausenLT 11 months ago

To quote from an amazing manga: "With a keen eye for details, only one truth prevails!" And both pharmaceutical and medical fields have shown this claim to be undeniably true.
onijester56 10 months ago

It is written...the law was created for man and not man for the law
chrisjones655 11 months ago

If people are so easily deceived by a group with a proven history of false predictions and changing beliefs, when the son of perdition stands in the Holy place, what chance do any of these people have in avoiding his deception?
chrisjones655 11 months ago
Go ahead and keep trying to stay here, I'm following Jesus into his Kingdom. Pay attention friends, Jehovah's Witnesses is not a cult. Say it slowly say "Jehovah's" which is God's real name in english, say it slowly "Jehovah's" then say "Witness", now do you get it? Now say, "I am Jehovah's Witness" I'm witnessing to people about Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. When you curse Jehovah's Witnesses think about what you are saying in your mind.
askduane 11 months ago

NBAGOATS 1 year ago
@NBAGOATS - Yes it's true that bloodless surgery is better when possible. However in many cases it isn't possible. The Watchtower now has set up a maze of rules about what "blood fractions" are and aren't permissible for their members. So even the JW's aren't entirely bloodless now.
In any case, is life sacred or not? If a JW were to take a whole-blood transfusion their religion would rule them as no longer being a JW. Their rules are more important than the sacredness of life.
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@cooper79jeffr - From what I understand, they're not governed by any rules. But more so principles based on the bible. I am a newbie and is learning a lot from them that I didn't learn as a Baptist. I've been apart of many religions and what i don't get is,...when someone try to convince you about having THEIR view about a certain religion or its practices. If you don't like you don't like. Thats YOUR choice. Why does it have to be mine? I have no respect for those individuals.
NBAGOATS 1 year ago
@NBAGOATS - Based on my decades of experience as a Witness, I would tell you that the WT Society's regulations on blood is a set of rules, because they have literature specifically outlining what elements of blood are and are not acceptable. One who doesn't follow the regulations could be viewed as having separated themselves from the JW's, resulting in being cut off (treated as dead).
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@NBAGOATS -- Regarding your 2nd point about religious discussion - I agree. It's often been said that one shouldn't discuss politics or religion in polite company. However some religions teach that belief in THEIR system is vital. This causes disputes.
If you're thinking of becoming JW, you should know now that you'll be expected to go to people's homes to convince strangers that their religious belief is inferior to the Watchtower brand.

Separating blood from its owner has become more scientific and complex.
We always allowed the clotting factor because whole blood minus the clotting factor is still whole blood. We use the same equation for fractions.
Though not perfect, Watchtower is doing a fine job of not being reckless with Gods commandments, nor our health. Regards.

Awake! 1969 May 22 p.15
If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things. Why not? Because all the evidence in fulfillment of Bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years. Of the generation that observed the beginning of the 'last days' in 1914, Jesus foretold:'This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.' Therefore as a young person, you will never...blah blah..
asstezz 1 year ago
@asstezz - I was 8 years when the Awake printed the untruth that I would never grow old in this present system. They went on to say in the same article that pursuing a career in this world would be pointless. Then 10 years later when I graduated from high school the circuit overseer and his wife made a point to come discourage me, not only from attending college but even from attending a 25-week technical school. I went to the tech school - and it was the best decision I ever made.

TheVipernick 1 year ago
@TheVipernick - In 1969 they stated it was a "fact' that the end was so near that I wouldn't grow old in this world's system and that it would be worthless to pursue a career. Was that true? They used to teach that people alive in 1914 would see Armageddon. Now 96 years have passed, and they don't teach that any more. The things they taught then were NOT the truth. So how do you know that what they say now won't be changed a few years later? Truth doesn't change, but the Watchtower always does.

The Witnesses of the Jehovah rule when all other people are quiet or say nothing.
The religion is named in the Western countries by a laugh or done by the Jehovah Witnesesses. It´s not that like at all. I admire witnesses when they keep their truth in themselves and don´t push too hard.
FinnMove 1 year ago
@FinnMove - It's in the JW's blood to "push" religion. They're evangelical. They go door-to-door with the message that every other religion is wrong, and that those who don't believe the message will die soon at Armageddon.
Don't get me wrong, some JW's are very nice people. The point is, they think you and I will die because we disagree. The Watchtower is a divisive force, in a way different than many other religions who are not so insecure about different viewpoints.
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@cooper79jeffr we go door to door because jesus commanded us too and yes we care about you. it is not the JW who say armageddon is near. it is the bible. no one knows when it will come. but it is not that we are proving any one wrong, we just encourage you to look into your bible. you know when you have a passion in your heart you want to tell others, same w/ JW's we love Jehovah w/ our whole heart and want others to learn what we have.
shihtzufizzers 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - I don't doubt your passion. People from many religions have passion, believe me! Actually the Watchtower Society has claimed that the Bible said the end was near many times before now. 1914, 1915, 1925, 1975, and "before the 20th century ends" were time periods that they made people think the end was coming. They were wrong then. What makes you think that the claims that "the end is near" is any more true now in 2010 then it was in 1910?
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@cooper79jeffr the WT society itself never claimed that any of those dates were the end of the systems of things. some may have thought that but the society never promoted it.
shihtzufizzers 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - The WTS wants you to believe that they never promoted those dates. But let's get real here. The WT Society DID promote the date. Where did people get the ideas in the first place, if not from the Watchtower Society?
In the 1/15/1892 Zion's Watch Tower, C.T. Russell wrote: "the battle of the great day of God Almighty The date of the close of that "battle" is definitely marked in Scripture as October 1914. It is already in progress, its beginning dating from October, 1874".
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - Here's what else the Russell wrote about 1914:
"A.D. 33, to A.D. 70 was 36 ½ years; and so from A.D. 1878 to the end of A.D. 1914 is 36 ½ years. And, with the end of A.D. 1914, what God calls Babylon, and what men call Christendom, will have passed away, as already shown in prophecy." Studies In the Scriptures Series III - Thy Kingdom Come (1891) p.153
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - (Post #1 for 1975) You might think the WTs never promoted the 1975 date, but consider these quotes from the literature in the 9 years preceding 1975.
The book "Things in Which it is Impossible for God to Lie" was published in 1966 and released at the conventions. That book stirred much interest, as documented in the Watchtower.
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - Post #2 for 1975 --
"Nothing has created more interest in this textbook than the first chapter with its chart and fine information regarding the 7,000 years of God's rest day. The observation that 1975 may well mark the beginning of mankind's great Jubilee has intrigued many." -- Watchtower 1/1/67 pg.29
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - Post #3 for 1975
'What about the year 1975?

If you'd like the truth about Jehovah's witnesses,,,
rtstephens1773 1 year ago
please dont hesitate to ask me. I'll share with you of true bible truth not falsities like this video.
rtstephens1773 1 year ago
@rtstephens1773 - Leviticus 3:17 is part of the old Israelite law that JW's acknowledge was done away with when Jesus died.
Actually the video shows true things about the Watchtower's death-dealing policy on blood medicine. The 1994 Awake cover showed children who DIED on the principle that a symbol of life (blood) is more sacred than life itself. This is monstrous & wrong.
The 2004 WT shown in the video tells JW's that all blood fractions are okay. So how is that "abstaining" from blood?
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
First off as you say dust our bibles off, how about you clean your glasses. Lets look at the whole verse not just part. (Le:3:17: It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.) It also says fat. I am sure you ingest fat intermingled with the meat you eat so you must be unclean to then. Also as you guys say you need to look at it in context. This verse is talking about a sacrificial animal.
Discipleofthelord84 1 year ago
Well if we follow scripture what does Mark 7:15 say. Also if the life is in the blood and the blood is to sustain life than it is being used for the very thing it was meant for. The fluid does not get ingested and it is not from a sacrificed life. What about Lev:3:17 I am sure you have ingested fat in the past. I don't know of a Orthodox Jew or a Doctor that would consider a blood transfusion the equivalent of eating blood via mouth. Orthodox Jews don't even refuse blood transfusions.
Discipleofthelord84 1 year ago
The JW's say we need to look at the context. So look at how it is being used. As you tell us to blow off the dust from our Bibles. Shouldn't you take 2 Timothy 2:24-25 into consideration. Don't be rude but show patience.

2:08 I have heard the theory that The Watchtower Society is doing this because if they changed the policy against blood transfusions suddenly they would be slammed with lawsuits. So the WT Society might be getting JWs used to the idea of accepting blood transfusions by small gradual changes.
tubian323 1 year ago
@tubian323 - I have heard that, too. The Watchtower's Legal department is in conflict with their Service department which is supposed to run the spiritual show. Apparently the Legal dept. is preventing a complete change (a.k.a. "new light") regarding the blood doctrine.
They have to let the old generation of JW's (who still feel that even "blood fractions" are wrong) die off before they crap the blood doctrine.
(How many JW's baptized in the last 25 years even know about the 1975 fiasco?)

That quote is bizarre and wrong on so many levels. Where in the Bible does it say leeches cannot take blood? Doesn't blood-letting and feeding occur regularly in the nature that people believe God designed? Why does the WT meddle in people's medical decisions. So wrong.
cooper79jeffr 2 years ago
Only someone like you can believe this garbage; you accuse of death children because no transfusion, then what is all this about fractions of blood. your video is contradicting in itself. you are a complete liar.
wertyh11 2 years ago
@wertyh11 -The May 22, 1994 cover of Awake magazine showed a montage of J.W. children who died and had NO blood transfusion. It's like they are proud of the deaths of these children.
So what it is it about fractions of blood? Why allow fractions if, as Natasha says, the Bible says "abstain"? How is taking fractions abstaining?
The Watchtower shouldn't enforce medical decisions on parents.
Here's what makes me mad: CHILDREN. DEAD. WT proudly featured dead children on a magazine cover.
cooper79jeffr 2 years ago
@cooper79jeffr
You are to focus in this little space of time into this world when we have an eternity promise by God if we maintain on the laws given on the Book. We all have to die. hope for ressurection.

For shame.

Is not easy to follow the Book's teachings without that that you mention early "faith".
Do you know what death involves? I mean biblically.
wertyh11 2 years ago
@wertyh11 - My sense of justice makes me very unhappy when any cruelty is perpetuated upon children. The Watchtower's death-dealing teaching is wrong. Dead children! Displayed on their magazine! You seem to support that, implying their death doesn't matter, it's only temporary.
I don't really care what holy books say about death. Nobody knows for sure. This life we have now is the only one we know we'll have for certain.
Your religion makes you gamble that some better life is coming.
cooper79jeffr 2 years ago
@cooper79jeffr
Yes my deer Cooper, we can go on and on, but you mentioned that you sensed that this was faith involved and also mentioned that you know the Book very well; more children die because of hunger, yet it is phrofetized by the book, any way; Jesus died and was resurrected Lasarus was resur- also again faith my friend.
wertyh11 2 years ago
@wertyh11 - I'll respond this way: I do not think faith is a virtue to be respected. It is superstition. Where reasoning stops, faith begins. Too many religions hide behind the shield of "righteous faith" to get away with inhumane acts.
The JW's do so by gambling their children's lives away based on faith in some future resurrection. The results: "Dead children -- proudly featured on a magazine cover!" This is heinous.
Apples-oranges: Hunger due to government corruption is also terrible.

wertyh11 2 years ago

Natashaaaaaaaa 2 years ago
@Natashaaaaaaaa - At 1:56, not everything in the "green" area are man-made alternatives. Fractions are not man made, but are fractions of the blood itself.
Before 1979, the WTS even disallowed fractions. Did you know that? They started to relax the rules for their hemophiliac members, and then later for all members as a "conscience decision".
So since they disallowed even fractions 31 and more years ago, obviously they did so because they came from human blood (not poured out).
cooper79jeffr 2 years ago 2
You've just answered your own question then, Jehovah's witnesses do NOT use parts of blood. And it's controversy was stopped by the watch tower.
Natashaaaaaaaa 2 years ago
@Natashaaaaaaaa - Let's try again.
Their "fractions" teaching is like saying you can't eat a whole sandwich but you can eat bread, ham and cheese separately.
cooper79jeffr 2 years ago
Yes I know that I did watch the video. But i'm sure there's an explanation for it.
Natashaaaaaaaa 2 years ago
@Natashaaaaaaaa - What would you do if there's no good explanation?
cooper79jeffr 2 years ago
Wait, you are here defending the witnesses with the excuse "But i'm sure there's an explanation for it"?
Well I'm no bible scholar but to me logic would dictate that you would first have scriptural proof and then change your doctrine, I think you guys have it backwards.
thacorpser 2 years ago
The scriptural proof is "Abstain from blood"
Natashaaaaaaaa 2 years ago
The thing is, that's the ONLY scriptural proof that applies to Christians. There are other laws in the Old Testament regarding blood, but according to The Watchtower Society modern Christians are not under mosaic law. Couldn't it be that Paul was talking to Christians in the first century only? Or maybe Paul was talking about abstaining from the shedding of blood?
tubian323 1 year ago
@cooper79jeffr BLOOD FRACTION IS NOT LIFE GIVING BLOOD IN ITSELF. WHOLE BLOOD IS. JUST A SCIENCE THROUGH TIME HAS GROWN, SO HAS THE UNDERSTANDING OF BLOOD IN THE JW FAITH. JUST THINK, IF WE ALL DIDN'T GROW , DRS WOULD STILL BLEED PEOPLE OUT AS A CURE FOR WHATEVER AILMENT THEY HAVE. SAME WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF BLOOD.
shihtzufizzers 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - Review your organization's history. It once taught "abstain from blood" meant not taking any part of blood from any other human, on the principle that blood is a symbol of life. Starting in 1979, they gradually allowed fractions - first to hemophiliacs.
So I ask you - is the Watchtower really standing by the "abstain from blood" principle if they let you take fractions? The WTS' current stance is a set of man's laws and is not based on Bible principle liked it used to be.
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@cooper79jeffr medically speaking. the understanding of blood and its fractions are becoming more understood. yet it is a conscience matter on whether you accept franctions or not. whole blood is not accepted. fractions by themselves does not make whole blood. and 'BTW i am not looking for an arguemnt to win. i am not even looking for agruments period. are you?
shihtzufizzers 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - When you get on here and dismiss anyone with views different than yours with a pejorative term like "apostate" and say things like "they can try but will never win", it doesn't make you appear like you're here for a reasonable discussion. But maybe you're here in the spirit of 1 Peter 3:15 which says to be ready to answer everyone who asks the reason for your hope. We may not change our minds, but we can gain something from the experience.
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - Red cell fractions are allowed by Watchtower leadership. The hemoglobin fraction which is allowed constitutes 97% of the red blood cell. Will you answer my original question: What Bible principle is being upheld by allowing fractions but not whole blood transfusions? It seems that their stance "strains the gnat" while gulping the camel - that larger thing being the sanctity of life itself..

@cooper79jeffr but nowhere does it say that the end WILL be here in 1975. it says could. it could come tomorrow who knows. yes the end is near. many faiths now believe that through the prophecies in the bible. not just the JW's
shihtzufizzers 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers - Yes they generated excitement, but the WTS knew better than to say the exact words "the end will be here in 1975". In that way they created plausible deniability, and would be able to continue to survive to convince future generations that the end is near just like they've been claiming for 13 decades now. Yes there are other "adventist" groups like yours. So what.
cooper79jeffr 1 year ago
@cooper79jeffr well the main point is that the bible says that only Jehovah knows when the end will come. not even his son or the angels know, I go by that. Even if it is 50 generations who cares. Jehovah is being patient for he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but to repent and come back to him ( thats in the bible) but I have nothing against you, just enjoy life and be happy

They are told the acceptance of blood fractions from donated blood is a matter of conscience. Watch Tower literature claims the donation of blood is unbiblical, since this would be seen as condoning blood transfusions. The only way for fractions of blood to become available for use is through the storing and processing of such blood donations. very contradictory
asstezz 2 years ago
Regardless of what the watchtower does,or does not tell you to do.its quite obvious what their stance is,And those of us that grew up in JW homes know what goes on behind closed doors.
"FredTorres1000" and all other JW's always point the finger to other religions faults,as if their evils were any lesser. The question of blood is all semantics, but child molestation, lets see you defend that.
6VaLeNtInE6MaSSaCrE6 2 years ago
In Conclusion, the video is remarkably without legal, ethical, medical and religous context. In a country where there are 1.2 million abortions yearly, with 70% of those identified as either Catholic or Protestant and 19% by minors, without sanction from ecclesiastical bodies, the greatest threat of all to innocent life is ignored.
Due to the lack context of any type, a potentially informative video comes across as cheap propaganda.
FredTorres1000 2 years ago
The Watchtower does neither approves or disapproves, or endorse the use of blood fractions, therefore the woman at the end of the video is not asking relevant questions.
Since JW's dont donate blood, the real issue is whether the use of the "end product " of fractionization of donated/stored blood is a violation of law on blood.
You would expect to get varied responses to such a question.
FredTorres1000 2 years ago
Sandwich analogy fails:
Ham,cheese, bread are whole components analagous to blood cells/plasma.
On the other hand, protein molecules, sugar,,carb molecules, sodium, etc. are analagous to blood fractions.
FredTorres1000 2 years ago
RBC,WBC,platelets and plasma are considered tissue, so they can placed correctly as equivalent to whole blood, which is liquid tissue.
To illustrate: eating packed human cells (rbc, wbc, platelets)or connective tissue(plasma/bone) equals eating human tissue(whole blood/flesh)
Below the tissue level the determination of equivalency must be decided freely by the individual person. There is no direct policy on fractions other than that.
FredTorres1000 2 years ago
The Awake magazine highlighted young ones who were deemed "mature minors" by either the attending physicians or courts of law, who were not Jehovah's Witnesses. This legal principle has also helped non witness children with certain terminal conditions to have a voice in their choice and/or continuation of medical care.
FredTorres1000 2 years ago
Recent medical research:
Duke University study 2008
Cleveland Clinic study published in NEJM in 3/09
University of Bristol 2007 study
It's possible that millions may have died as a result of blood transfusions over the years. Google this information.
These studies do not even account for the underreported TRALI cases.
RBC transfusions have demonstrated efficacy only in dire emergencies, a very small percentage of all transfusions.

TheRealTruth1914 2 years ago
hewhocauses, really.
