This is...ridiculous. Most boys who've hit puberty can't get anyway NEAR a girls pitch. She is right that there are exceptions, some can hit insanely high notes, but they still can't beat a girl.

You can hear a clear difference a girls and a boys voice. If a boy take a high note it sounds pretty awesome but when a girl do it sound completely different. In a guys voice you only hear that 'high sound' but in a girls you can hear a deeper sound while she still hit the right key.

I don't know why or how but it is a fact.

Think perhaps that boys voices blend in better. I have noticed that in many mixed adult choirs many of the women think they are soloists. Opera singers, male and female, tend to use excessive vibrato. This is uncommon with prepubescent males.

A few years ago, a choir director in the U.S. announced his intention to form a boys choir. The mother of a girl sued, and the judge declared the director's efforts to have been "unconsitutional." The director just said forget it. We find ignorance in all walks of life.

There are numerous wonderful videos on YouTube with boys choirs and soloists. Check out for example Richard Bonsall with Ave Maria or Peter Jelosits singing Bach.

@alberttheIV  There are exceptions of course...but she is correct, the majority of boys once they hit puberty, can't sing as high as they did when they were small...there voice becomes more mainly and deeper. But there a some that can still sing high. And Dude don't disrespect her like that, that's not necessary.
