What a blast from the past! I went to Taikyu in 1985 as an exchange student. So little has changed. Living in Yuasa was an amazing experience. Will be sharing some of my memories when I take my 17 year old daughter there in December. Thanks for the look back on my "other home town"
@ingridd1968 I graduated from Taikyu spring of 1985. Are you from Cambridge high by any chance?? Taikyu started exchange program summer of 1984 with Cambridge high.....I knew everyone from that group including the teacher.....Long time ago....I am going to go home next summer,I hope.....
LOL... I taught at Taikyu from 98-2001. I did take some students from their sister school in Minnasota to Hiroshima for a feild trip. Dont remember the name of the school though.
@shoinohio I'm from South Australia. I arrived in Yuasa early March 1985 and spent a year at Taikyu. I met a number of students from Cambridge in August 1985 and many of my class mates visited Cambridge the following year. I just love the town of Yuasa and my wonderful family in Japan.
Japanese students are eons different from American students. Their class rooms aren't loud and annoying to the teachers, by what I have seen in this video.
TAIKYU is my high school! I graduated a long time ago.....but it was so nice to see my school!! I did recognize a music teacher, sorry i do not remember his name.....Cafeteria hasn't change much... I miss TAIKYU!!!
