That is excellent. Well supported, smooth, and most importantly, an original and awesome layout. Lots of the Giga coasters made on NL are just ripoffs of MF, but this is great.
and awsome supports!!! did u make them all by urself? i really can't make them... most of the time i use auto supports (and i design mostly wooden coasters ;) ).
I like them to...but the high cost of steel and the debts of most parks arent helping the hances of another giga. Millenium Force costed about 35 million in 1999...nowadays it would be close to 50 million
now now, lets be realistic. A wooden structure, cannot be over 300 feet high, the amount of lumber needed for that, would probably outweigh steel. Plus, the ride wouild simply tear itself apart, and eventually would be trimmed to death. Take meantsreak for example, if they didnt put trim brakes on the first hill, the coaster wouldnt be here right now.
Intamin does build wooden coasters... The coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure was built by them. The chain on the lift hill goes as fast as a giga coaster. Check it out. :D
this is pretty damn coolio

You used the theme song of expedition geforce!
This is no giga coaster
or is it 300 feet high?
matthias280990 2 years ago
nice. only nit-pick is a little too much supporting on the overbank.
Millcreek47 2 years ago
what are you talking about? It's actually fairly under supported!
The whole ride in fact is largely under supported

I LOVE GIGA COASTERS! I wish Intamin AG had built more than one. For example, they should build this one, it's good!

What if you had really big hills? Couldn't you make a wooden Giga coaster which stayed relatively close to the ground?
Omnigeek6 2 years ago
The speed combined with the weight of the trains would just be too powerful for a wooden coaster....look how rough Son of Beast has become.
matters9319 2 years ago
I see, I thought the issue was the height of the structure. Might a ride with a combination of wood and steel supports work?
Omnigeek6 2 years ago
Millennium cost 25 million in 1999, the year it was built.
