Hes so precious. My daughter was born sleeping on August 27 2011 at 31 weeks gestation. She also had Trisomy 13 and was also blessed with 12 toes but she also had 12 fingers. God gave us our miracles for reasons that may remain unknown for a lifetime but we prove how strong we are.

I have a very dear friend who is expecting a boy with Full Trisomy 13 in March. He has been giving a bleak prognosis. They have already named him and purchased his funeral plot and made arrangements. I feel so powerless. Can you tell me how you made it this far? What else can I do? I pray every day for her strength and grace. Thanks in advance.

Baby Alexander sounds like a strong little guy. I'm sure memories of holding, loving and carrying for him sustain the family. His family will be in our prayers.

OMG. How precious. I hope you treasured every second of those 63 1/2 hours.. I hope you just soaked it in. I hope you had the opportunity to feed him, bath him, change him and I know you heard those beautiful little cries because I heard them on the video... I hope you kissed everyone of his little toes.... and just soaked up all of his little smells.... My prayers are with you
