"Total war" games have large amounts of units, you can change the scale with the .ini file, 1000 units per battalion is a bit much, though ;D

There is a Lord Of The Rings mod for Total War Medieval II, called TATW, having downloaded it myself, I think it's a great substitute for the original TWME2 game if you have a terrible computer, as there are less textures. THANKS FOR 2000 VIEWS GUYS!

i agree about the sea combat. the only one that can make a difference is the ones with catapults, the regular ships can hit ground targers but are limited to mainly defense and the suicide ships are there to just kill alot of enemy ships
