Was that a new kind of flag you were using. It seem to have simulated landing more realisticly? DK

@dekrauth1 The flag is no different than any other flag, just have to be specific in the use of it and it will work well. I used to use a flag I made from a patio umbrella, it was extra large and worked a treat.

Sorry I sent it twice heheh. I used the black plastic sheets because I didn`t have to use as much paint as if I used white. I have used the plastic sheets for hundreds of shore birds for the US Fish and Wildlife. They are very durable too. One time a customer forgot a couple of the birds when the tide came in .She couldn`t get back there for a few days and they were still there stuck in the mud and fine. Wow great stuff. Nate and I had a great day on Sat. too .Four geese and three ducks. Nate shot real good and my self.well not too good heheh. Nate`s dad here. Nate was saying you are going to make some huge goose decoys to hide behind. A couple of things to save some hassles. When you prep the plastic ,make sure your give a real good rough sanding. Why? well You have to use Krylon ,plastic paints.Other paints will peel. When you sand it it will dull the finish as well because krylon is glossy

Good stuff there ...Nate`s dad here . we had a great day on Saturday. we got our four geese and three ducks. We called a few others after we took the decoys in. they landed too. My son says you want to make those huge geese to hide behind. A couple of things to tell you to save you from wasting your time. First when you prep the plastic .Make sure you use the Krylon plastic paints. Give the plastic a good sanding first to make the paint not only stick to it but the Krylon paint is glossy.
