  • what is this a candy corn cos im looking to buy a snake anbd what i the best corn snake toget thanx reply back plz

  • What kind of corn snake is that? I just recently got one and it looks exactly the same.

  • @serb1117 i think its a alpha corn snake i have a albino one

  • are these good "starter" snakes cause iv had an iguana before but never snakes and i wanted to get a python is tht a bad idea ? iv done some research and im still researching bout the care and what not

  • @hellobeautymeow in my opinion the best starter snakes are Corn Snakes, ball pythons, and king snakes/milk snakes. red tail boas are great too but you need to be prepared to care for an animals that can grow around 9 feet, they need a ton of space

  • @BingX14 :O i thought pythons only grow to be 5 feet lol how big do the corn snakes get ?

  • @hellobeautymeow corn snakes will grow on average 4 feet in length. There are many species of pythons out there with many different sizes. Ball pythons grow 4-6 feet depending on if its a male or female. Some pythons are small, like the spotted python, while others can grow massive like burmese pythons, african rock pythons, and reticulated pythons, which are all in the range of 17 feet to over 20 feet in length. Boa species are different than pythons and also have a huge range of adult sizes

  • @BingX14 thankyou because i was so close to picking up a albino Colombian boa !!! i think im going to start off with a corn snake are there diff colors for corns ? all ive seen are yellows and oranges or reds i would want a grey or black :)

  • @hellobeautymeow good call! and hell yeah there are soooo many color morphs with different patterns and stuff, if you are looking for a grey or black corn snake, check out "Black Motley corn snakes" they are black and grey and have cool oval patterns on their neck

  • @BingX14 i looked up corn snakes and i found some really nice morph only thing is im worried because from browing through comments on other videos ive seen that people have been scammed and or received sick snakes do you know of any breeders i can buy from online ?

  • @hellobeautymeow well i got this snake from a local curious creatures. They dont have a store, they do educational reptile shows and stuff but i got over to their place frequently and i adopted this corn snake from them. I havnt had experience with buying online. Maybe checkout BHBreptiles. A guy named Brian runs that whole thing. on youtube, check out "snakebytestv" brian has a weekly youtube show of his reptile place

  • @BingX14 thankyou sooooo much and sorry for asking so may questions lol :O

  • @hellobeautymeow no problem! id much rather you get as much information as possible so you can get everything done right from the start. Goodluck and let me know if you have other questions!

  • @BingX14 thankyou :) and i sure will plan on getiing it in the next 2 weeks or so ill post a video :)

  • @hellobeautymeow sweet ill keep an eye out for it!

  • ... by the way: This snake has to be much older then 1,5 years ! It's nearly fully grown. But please correct me if I'm wrong and you know age for sure, maybe you just got a genetically very very big and fast growing snake:) Most snakes are about 2 foot in length in that age.

  • Hey man I think that the tank isn't big enough. The problem is that it's to small in height. Length and widht are OK. The piece of wood isn't reallly big enough to actually climb well on it. If you would build a backwall with a few plateaus your snake would have much more usable surface AND the whole Tank would look much better. I don't want to say that your Tank is bad or something, I just think that your snake would be very grateful because she's a big one. By the way: Very nice snake !

  • @Waldkraiburg2Bavaria hey thanks! i'd say its about time i do an update of this snake, as i got him a 40 gallon breeder tank a while ago which he fits into much better. As for the snakes age, you are correct i made a mistake lol. I was told the snake was about 8 months old when i got him but the exact age wasnt sure. I later found out that that he was over a year old when i got him so in this video he was about 2 years and a few months old. Thanks for the comments!

  • @BingX14 No prob! With the 40 gal tank the whole thing sounds much better! Liked

  • @Waldkraiburg2Bavaria :) thanks!

  • it looks like a blood red to me

  • it looks like a blood red to me

  • Cool man. =)

I too have a Corn Snake. Her name is Hiss.

  • where can you buy 20 gallon tanks??

  • @xXSetTheWorldOnFireX any pet store in your area should have them they are a very common tank size

  • would you say that after four years your snake is attached to you at all? or do snakes not get like that

  • @chok2345 i would say for sure they do. They learn to trust their owners most of the time, unless their owner isnt treating them correctly. But over years of handling and stuff, my corn snake knows he can trust me and there for is super relaxed any time i hold him. Okay so i suppose they will certainly learn to trust you and know you are not a threat but as far as being attached to you i can't really say. They wont come up to you waging their tail like a dog would obviously lol

  • Can you put an adult Corn Snake in a 10 gallan if not what how big ?

  • @AlwaysFreshToDeath1 10 gallons will be too tight for an adult corn snake, i'd say smallest you could keep an adult in would be a 20 gallon long (make sure its the "long" version of the 20, not the 20 "high"), but a 40 gallon breeder size tank would be an awesome fit, thats what i keep my corn snake in now

  • @JakesToons lolumad?

  • How long have you had him?

  • @23Devin4Hester23 a little over 4 years now

  • i got my just like that i got it today umm dont u think that your set up its kind of small ?

  • @alfredo13reyes he's in a 40 gal breeder now

  • my corn's name is buffy the mouse slayer... buffy for short

  • i got a corn snake like that and its called sidney! we dont know if its female or male but we dont care! haha he feads on dead mice because i hate feading a snake a live 1 because of the noise the mouse would make to try and run off! i cant even think about it

  • Beautiful snake, which albino pattern, check my yellow albino out, happy new years. mine is almost 14 haha! good luck with ur snake, it will get bigger if you continue the great care.

  • @HedgieDiva make a vid on him or her

  • u sound like guy from weed wars

  • @SuperPitbullMan haha! i watch that show lol, which guy do i sound like

  • @BingX14 the main guy, the one who has the braids, haha

  • How old is he

  • i got a question. my corn has an interesting color morph. she looks like an okeetee, but as you move along her body, the lower half turns brown, or almost a ghost color (with the same pattern). has anyone seen this? is it a specific pattern? its really nice tho i like it :)

  • i just got a baby corn snake all it does is hide is this normal

  • @reptilekeeper77 yes. i just got a baby corn about a week ago myself haha. its very normal.hes just been introduced into a new environment, and for the next few days he might be sared and jumpy. try not to handle him, so he can get aquainted with his new habitat. only remove him from the cage to feed him in a different container. (feeding in a different enclosure will prevent him from biting you when you reach in to grab him. it trains him to "hunt" in a different container

  • @guerrero147 thanks you for the help i will subscriptions to your channel

  • @reptilekeeper77 rather than hunting in his own terrarium). when he is finished feeding give it 5 or 10 minutes so his primal instincs wear off, then return him to his cage with minimal handling, to prevent him from throwing up. then when you put him back, raise the temperature and humidity, keeping close attention to both, so he can properly digest his meal. give him 4 or 5 days, then he will start being more active and exploring his enclosure. Mine came out of his shell in

  • @reptilekeeper77 only 3 days, so you might be lucky! once he gets used to his environment, you can handle him everyday, 15, 20, or even 30 minutes. this will help him get used to you, and it will keep him "tame". Its not possible to tame a snake, but it is possible for them to tolerate us. try not to stress him out during the 3-5 day period, since it will only make him stressed and will affect his overall health. make sure to wash your hand before and after handling too!

  • you should take changing the sand to something different like coconut shaving into consideration because the sand is bad for its scales and skin...its a good idea forr such a BEAUTIFUL snake.;)

  • Very handsome snake!

  • @HighNMighty420 thanks, i couldn't agree more haha :)

  • What great animal you have! .. be sure, you're a lucky guy!

  • amel motley by the looks of it

  • Okatee or amel. And it can't be motley pattern because motley have a solid white belly

  • I have read to becareful using Carpet because it can house bacteria fairly easily. Looks like a nice setup otherwise.

He looks like jsut a regular Amel.

Man look at him~ he is checking every nook and cranny haha.

  • loved the vid but never put the heat pad and lamp on the same side ! spectacular snake tho

  • Comment removed

  • how much did it cost in total for the branch , the half log , the water bowl and the rock thingy that he could go in ? and where did you buy it :)

  • i dont get the gallon thing can someone please explain how much a 20 gallon vivarium is in cm??

  • Sweet vid bro.

  • It is a creamsicle

  • Are okeetee corn snakes more aggressive than others? I'm either getting an albino or okeetee on Thursday or Friday. Also, do they become more aggressive after eating?

  • @xRainbowDashh no they are very very docile! just like all other corn snakes, they are very active and squirmy when they are young but they rarely ever bite, no matter that color morph they are. once they are the size this snake is they are very easy to handle and make great pets! however, as with any snake, you don't want to try and hold it after it has just eaten because it will be in "feeding mode" and could easily strike your hand thinking it is another prey item.

  • @xRainbowDashh yes, oketee hatchlings are more defensive to start. they calm dwn quickly

  • put a Christmas hat on him

  • is this snake deadly

  • @ysakota Cornsnakes are not deadly.

  • @jessierox112

    Males are between 3.5-4 ft

    Females are between 4-5.5 ft

The biggest was a female around 7 ft

I would suggest to you a male. Also they don't get thick in diameter like pythons

*sorry about being in feet, I don't know the conversions :'(

  • umm how big do they get because i wqantone but i dont want a snake that grows bigger than 1 and a half metres

  • @jessierox112 an adut corn snake will average around 4 feet. some will grow a bit larger but you won't be any that exceed 5 feet.

  • @jessierox112

four to six feet six bieng very large

  • Super nice set up dude im so jealous!

  • very good job man and ur snake is really cool did he or she ever bit u before i just got me a small cali king snake

  • corn snake like to burry so in mine i have loads of hideing places its feels a bit limited for ur tank layout

  • nice size but viv is far to small

  • If your love your mum post this to twenty people. A girl ignored this and her mum died 365 days later. I had to put this down because I love my mum. 

  • yo u think itd be fine if i got another corn snake and put it with one i got no hes only like lil more than a foot and its n a 40 gal tank

  • I don know if this has been asked yet but where did you get the tank? I have a corn snake and its needing a bigger tank but I don't know where to buy a quality tank.

  • sexy snake!!

  • saw this vid in febuary and fell in love with the corn snake. i got one in april. hes white yellow and pink. i think its a snow morph& about 22 inches now. healthy and active. (: just wanted to say thanks man. loving my corn snake.

  • Too answere someone's ? It's not exspensive. Well not too bring up. Just the set up which u can pick up a 5ft tank for £60 if u need detail message me. I hav a leopard lizard for sale at moment I spend about £15 a month on my two snakes. Tc

  • Hay good vid I hav the same morthe as u I hav just made a vid of both my snakes taken a bath Mines 5ft very tame male corn. Enjoy my vid. I'll sub u Comment mine thanks

  • sunglow corn

  • that is an awsome snake love belly patern

  • omg your snake looks like mine lol mine is 5feet

  • Comment removed

  • Mine is 2 and she is almost 5feet

  • It's either a normal or hypo normal. Deff not a motley, they don't have any stomach checkers. Not an Okeetee.. the black looks like it's reduced and the colors are strong, so I'm really thinking hypo normal..

  • are you sure that is two years old.. I found my snake about a year in a half ago and he is not even close to that size.

  • by the way, is this animal expensive??? i mean, taking care of it, the food, the water the tank, the light, you know all those things, how much do you spend in a month?

  • it is a reptile that's good cause they grow up depending of the place where they live or the kind of food, however i think the tank is a little small xD

  • how much did all this cost

  • its a sunglow

  • can i use eco earth as a substrate?

  • i absolutly love your tank

  • my snake is only 2 and is quite a bit bigger than yours i just put my female and male into a 4ft vivarium, im wondering though cause i have a heat gauge were it will turn off my heat lamp off at a certain temperature, it goes on and off about every 10 mins will this stress the snakes out?

  • my tank is about the same size too

  • i have the same snake with the same pattern and colors im not sure what it is either

  • THAT CAGE IS FUCKING TO SMALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL GET HIM A BIGGER ONE

  • @ReptiRogers he's in a 40 gallon breeder now

  • @BingX14 hey i have a question? I am thinking about getting a corn snake and i have all the things i need for him. My dad previously owned a constrictor and he had dirt in the bottom, no heat source, and he feed him 3 times a week and he was one of the most healthiest snakes hes ever had? can i do what my dad did? please help! i was thinking about putting him in a 20 gallon and using newspaper, a box for hide, and a small water dish? that should work?

  • @BingX14 all they need is a 20 gallon long

  • @ReptiRogers they can live in a 20 long their whole life

  • @ReptiRogers A 20 gallon long would suffice for a single adult corn snake.

  • i think the morph is Okette

  • wat size half log u think is good for a baby kingsnake in a 10 gall?

wat size hide would u recomend like that cave u have in the vid?

  • Not motley motleys have no stomach patter it is all white looks like red albino or something mixed with oketee

  • nice active snake :) god job, really like it

  • cary beautifull snake nice video. good luch with him bro.

  • cary beautifull snake nice video

  • buitifull snake man where did you get it and how much

  • a 1 year old thats 4 feet dude nice how often du u feed him

  • @BingX14 I have a corn snake that's a tad bigger than yours and I was wondering how big should his tank be and were could I get it

  • Could I have a jouvinile corn in a 29 gallon tank

  • But nice corn snake:)

  • Are corn snakes larger than rat snakes???and are they tropical or desert , just wondering

  • butiful corn snake

  • Jesus i want a snake , but your right in this video he looks huge to me about ...6 feet + !

  • nice Okeetee corn same as mine but mine is much smaller

  • okeetee

  • hey this is epic but isnt the tank a bit small

  • @jikerdu a corn snake can live in a 20 gallon long for its entire life but this video was taken over a year ago, ive since got him a 40 gallon breeder tank ;)

  • @BingX14 ahh fair enough dude :') i was jsut curious is all ^^

  • @BingX14 yeah your tank is nice i like your setup

  • I have a corn snake. a baby one, but do u think i really do need a heat lamp since i have a heat mat? isit really that important to have a heat lamp

  • yeah, looks like an okatee

  • he looks like an oketee because there is hardley any black

  • wow beutiful corn snake!!!!!!!, mine is 3 or 4 years old (male) and he is a striped gost corn (not as beutiful as this one) but still a nice snake

  • that corn snake is nice i like that orange colour

  • I love your snake :)

    Ive got a question.

I may be buying a snake and set up but it doesnt have a Heat lamp just a Heat pad. Will it be okay with just the heatpad?

  • @mcrdude08 that will be fine, since most breeders have what they call a rack system, there is not place to fit a light, so they usually (hopefully) have either heat tape or a heat pad

  • @reptispecks96 How do you clean a corn snake habitat thingy?

  • @stephkills i'm sorry i'm not quite understanding your question

  • @reptispecks96 Um... the place where they live. Cuz if the snake is coldblooded and you take it out suddenly so you can clean up his/her house, will s/he freeze or something or will they be fine with the temp change?

  • @stephkills oh ok i understand. as long as it is not for an extended period of time, they should be fine

  • @reptispecks96 Thanks :D How about humidity and heat, how do you regulate that, especially if you're not home? And do they really need to have basking lamps or can they go with out that?

  • @stephkills i'm not sure about humidity, but certain companies make heat pads with controls built in so you can control the temp. they do not need a basking lamp since most snakes absorb heat through the belly, but a regular bulb might be nice to light up your tank

  • thats the same colour of my snake but urs is bigger i only got mine yesterday

  • nice corn he might just be a lightly coloured normal phase i cant tell though, i've got an adult male normal phase who's about 4.5 ft and just got a baby motley stripe anery last month its a beauty i really should post a new video of them, got a fish tank too lol is it just me or do people who like reptiles usually seem to like fish as well?

  • @stephen4715 I like fish but there just for decorations in your living room. there not really that attractive. snakes are actually attractive due to you get to hold it and play with it. my baby corn snake loves to run around lol especailly when it put him on a floor which is wooden lol. she thinks his at ice skating lol.

  • tooooooo small dude!!!!

  • that cage is too small for him... A snake must be able to stretch its body in the tank, to be comfortable..

  • also... the water bowl needs to be centered in the tank and away from heat sources so the snake can cool off if it wants. they are more likeley to deficate in a water bowl if its a warm temp and/or at the edge of the tank bc they travel along the edges looking for away to escape. you always want clean water available. again dont take this the wrong way... just some advise from someone whose had corn snakes for over 20 yrs. hopefully more people will read this and take the advice too. take care

  • also... dont take this the wrong way. 20 gallons is not a good size for a full size corn snake. sure, it can live the rest of its life in it but they need room to roam around. i built an enclosure for my female okeetee thats 4' long 2.5' deep and 3' high and in a year or so. i will build a bigger one. you also may be pumping way too much heat in that small space depending on how cold it is inside your house. a 20 gal. all glass aquarium with a light and a heat pad may be like a little greenhouse

  • definateley NOT an okeetee. i have two 3 yr old okeetee corns. this looks like a hypomelanistic. an okeetee is a corn snake naturally occuring found in the wild in okeetee, south carolina. it looks very similar to a typical wild corn but the collors are brighter and the black borders are thicker. nice healthy snake

  • nice snake he is really cool lookin

  • he's an Oketee Corn... very nice looking snake!

  • my corn snake si about 4-5 months old in a 9L really useful box which is H15.5, W25.5, D39.5cm.. at the moment he/shes

( i dont know the sex) 18 inch long and about half inch thick. when do i move it up a size and how old will it be when its ready for the large adult enclosure

  • Not a motley. Motleys have more of a circular patter on there backs and they have no pattern on the bottom if it had no patter and more of a circular shape on its back it would be. To me it looks like you got an Okeetee corn snake and a healthy one to.

  • very nice corn.. looks healthy..

  • i get told alot that a glass one isnt as good as a wooden vivarium because glass dont keep the heat as much as wooden ones do

  • @kaleluk31 Who ever told you that is a idiot if it was the pet store he/she needs to be fired...

  • thanx for replying

  • Wow nice snake i got a baby corn.I cant wait for it to get that big!!!!!

  • cage is to small

  • damn how old is he?

  • @DRINKFIGHTSMOKE my local Petco has pre packaged frozen rodents from the company Gourmet Rodent, ranging in size from frozen pinkie mice all the way to frozen jumbo rats

  • o ok thanks for replying

  • how did you get it to 3.5 ft in a year and a half

  • @SnakeOwner09 i kinda messed up in this video, he wasnt 3.5 feet yet, more like 3 even. And in this video he was closer to 2 years old. He has grown to be a very wide corn snake so when he is just in his cage roaming around he looks longer/bigger than he really is lol

  • @SnakeOwner09 My corn snakes at least 2 foot maybe 2.5 and he's not a year old. Still really skinny, but very long.

  • @FireKudan one thing also... a snakes shed stretches, that's not an accurate way of meassuring

  • i have same kind but hes a baby and i have ghost corn snake

  • WOW, gorgeous corn snake!!! :)

  • @athletevball :D thanks! yeah i love him

  • How often do Corn Snakes shed? Im getting a Corn Snake tomorrow and its my first snake so please reply! Thanks!
