  • i respect mon ill be there nxt week on the 22nd to the 30th yeah mon cant wait....iam gona have lots of video for everyone........bigups

  • Every landing in jamaica they clap only jamaicans do that lol

  • @sweetjemise yep they did it when i went, and we were early even with delays so we got extra claps

  • @sweetjemise Actually country yam foot girl, puerto Ricans and Dominicans do it even more.

  • I love how in EVERY video of landings in Montego Bay, the passengers applaud. We did the same thing in 2010.

  • landed in montego may last summer. prettiest landing ever(:

  • ahhh i cant wait to get back to Montego Bay and hopefully ill be able to record it next time XD

  • air canada uses triple 7's to go to montego bay i see them almost every day look it up air canada flight 983 thats almost daily

  • @kobefan8to24 what air canada has never ever used a 777 to montego bay ill look that up mate and maybe its a b767 and i know they mostly use a320 and a321

  • @kobefan8to24 yeah dude that fl;ight is done by a b767-300 man well maybe sometimes they use a b777 nut its mostly a b767

  • which airline was this and why a 767 was it tha full f a flight and if it was a summer flight then ill understand

  • probably air canada

  • i doubt that i think it was like a plane from europe air canda only uses a320 to a321 to jamaica its probably like condor or i cant remember there name but there livery is sky blue

  • that would be thomson but air canada used to use 767 a couple years ago my dad flies them they still go down every once in a while

  • oh ok true u got a point lol i for got they used to fly those into mobay they should use there b777LR just to show off since thy already use it on route like yyz to yvr and thats not a long flight at all roughtly 6hrs i think

  • @bigkevinpetrona well the reason they use that is cuz thats a high density route and a few flights link in yvr like yyz-syd

  • oh i did not kow that i just thought it was dumb.but im guessing when the b787 comes they will use that instead and use the 777LR on long trips like to dxb and bkk

  • @bigkevinpetrona Air canada will use a 767 when they have a broken plane, which is almost daily

  • @bitemysausage lol

wow but u have to admit they r the best in north america man

  • Thomson Airways

  • @mattyg53

yeah thats it and u kow what i saw that flight on my fliht simulator lol im was shocked to see it i didnt know they come to mbj that ofte and also livingston airline comes to mbj also wit there a330-200 dude with fsx i seealot i guess lol

and cant wait for christmas will be in jamaica flying with big blue jetblue that it hope there better than air jamaica (where mi ackee with saltfish deh) lol

  • lol

  • What was the airline, where was the flight from, and when was it?

  • i'm at the resort right now, and yea, my ears did realy hurt today when we landed, i'm 13 too

  • Great vid.I will be taking that flight soon..Does anyone know how long I will be flying over the beautiful ocean? I'm kinda scared;-)..My route is Denver to Dallas,Dallas to Miami, then Miami to Montego Bay

  • ahh ur going t miami s yeah 2 days u will sleep over in miami and then it will be a flight thats leaves around 9-10am maybe later its alway delayed in miami if i were u take a flight from denver to kennedy and from kennedy straiht to jamaica trust me alot cheaper and save u that jet lag u will get from that route u posted good luck

  • Thanks alot for the info:-)

  • no problem tell me which oute u toke and the experience since im on the east coast its easy for me kennedy then to jamaica

  • dont start clapping yet it aint over till its over

  • if you go to sandals montego bay say ya mon to sunshine and spoogie for cory! youll know sunshine cause hes missing his right hand and his left arm is broken.

  • lovely landing! mi like di wata very pweety! big up nuff lov raspect!

  • i agree with leah25813, the landing for some reason hurt my ears badly and im 13 yrs old, jamaica montego bay sunset beach resort 5 stars!!!! it was awesome but my flight was 4 hrs from new york but the wait was worth it!!!! i wish i could go back!!!!

  • One week to go and I'll be experiencing this personally!

  • My boyfriend and I will be going to Montego Bay in one week too! can't wait! :o)

  • Landing in Montego Bay is the only place where I've ever heard people clap upon landing. I love it.. Especially when you've reached home safely!!!

    miss you Jamaica!!

  • I have done this landing :)

    Very painful :P

  • Trying the real thing tomorrow in Kingston! have a nice time in My country Jamaica!

  • Going in 2 days =) but to Kingston

  • How is it depressing to be alive?

FACT: The worsest thing that can happen to you on a plane is dueing take-off and landing??

  • You mean During?

  • @Noneofyoubusiness123 where the hell did you learn to spell?

  • Air Canada

  • very good landing

  • gosh...people dont even know why they have that rule abt electronic devices and still love to comment. i dont think a camcorder would do any harm...

  • Please turn off all electronics devices until the pilot advices that electronic devices may be turned on.

Tun it off. Yuh def. Yuh nuh ere wah di air hostess sey. A people like unu nuh falla direksions.

  • i love air jamaica

  • is this air jamaica?

  • i dont see anything wrong whatsoever with clapping when the plane lands SAFELY...it happens on all international flights, atleast it does on the international flights that i have been on. its just passengers showing there appreciation to the pilots for getting them to there destination in one piece.

  • People clap in response to a safe landing. The worst things always happen during takeoff and landing

  • @Amystika67 And every third plane crashes into the sea..............

  • When i go to Jamaica in 3 months i wil record landing (:

  • i bet that other small plane write at the start at the bottom of the screen had a great view of the 767

  • Nice, thanks for this brings back lovely memories, of visiting jamaica after 17 years away.

  • I got excited about the landing and i wasn't even on the plane, hahaha

  • i landed in kingston it was fairly good and

the Jamacia's hospitality and beauty is great

  • it looks like a lovely place

  • it is....if you havnt been u shud definitely go..

  • i Flew virgin altantic

  • i flew into montego bay, pretty good deal.

  • Thomsonfly?

  • Well they do it anyway. Apparently you don't fly.

    Too poor to fly?

  • Wow no need to get deffensive, and to back it up I went to Neril, Jamaica this June and I also went to Puerto Vallarta, in Mexico like a month ago so dude get your facts straight.

  • no becuse sometimes people are proud that they lived through the flight...

a landing is better than no landing

  • Welcome to Jamaica. No Boombaclots allowed.

  • lol! true true CalicoEnt!

  • Great approach, but the Captain doesn't hear the clapping and all though, so why clap :P!

  • good video, yeah the aproach to montego bay is very low to the sea i remember when i went, and i to think then when people clap on landing is a bit strange, fair enough there happy to get there but isd it really that nessesary lol?

  • Your sad

Its means there happy to be alive...

  • the people clapping are noobs..

  • lol wen we landed at montego bay on first choice all these olies started clappin frm first class and i was like ooooooooook

  • Noobs? that's a new one. People clap as an expression of relief. Mainly popular among Europeans, Canadians.

  • I think most people do beacsue its a releft to land on ground (Saftley ;))

  • "Wen we landed?" Try "WHEN we landid. DAMN! Spelled "landed" wrong!Did it really make you go "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK"? I do impressions of animals, too.

  • Who cares how people spell on youtube. Damn calm down moron.

  • Yes it does :D

    Can't wait to go!

  • haha doesnt it feel/look like your about to land in the water? i love it haha

  • haha thats great that people clapped. Ive only been a few flights were people actully did that.

  • haha its kinda scary there cuz you can't see where the runway begins so it feels like ur landing on water

  • i miss jamaica :(

  • oh man, i wish i was landing there again!!!

  • Jamaica here I come Sept 2008!! yea yea the clapping when you land, and the excitement!cyan wait!!!

  • nice video...i went over last summer and i cant wait to go back...it was such a good and relaxing trip for everyone

  • Did this landing before intense!!!!!

  • Why are they flying so LOW to the water!!

  • Its called a landing!

  • Well, i'm scared of planes..and I would DIE if it was so low. I have never flew so low to go to Jamaica before, but I went to Kingston--not Mobay!

But I do remember that pilot who basically dove down full speed--to land! I almost pee'd my pants! LOl

I wasn't making fun of the pilots landing skills..just expressing my jittery feeling when on a plane..

  • Man has been flying for more than 100 yrs now! No need to be scared. You should make full use of the on board bar! Also, the Lord runs things, try a little trust in him. You won't go before your intended time, believe me.

  • my uncle who used to work at the airport told me they do it to cool down the engines with a seabreeze...either that or it makes the time landing shorter.

  • i agree with imaginarydiva..it does bring bak memories..i havent been there in 2 years and i miss it alot!!! but im goin in JUNE!! thanks for postin this!

  • Virgian talantic is awome i flew with them last year to montego bay to se mt grand ma in jamaica in kingston

  • is it just me or do canadians like to clap when the plane lands

  • americaines do too

  • Awesome!! The approach into Sangster is always fun.

Air Canada 984 Heavy turn left heading 040 descend maintain 3000 feet vectors for the visual approach runway 07. No reported traffic. QNH Sangster 1012.

  • excellent video!!

it actually made me tear up a bit.

Jamaica is my most favourite place, and i'm going back in 3 weeks, and the whole video just brings back so many memories.

The excitement, the sheer beauty of the sea, the applause when you land... then the calmness that takes over your body the minute you get on the island.

    thank you for posting this.

Its exactly what i needed to see today :)

  • i could touch the waves.... seriously.

  • Ya mon' da pilot forgot to retract his flaps after landing mon' :(

  • thats awsome

  • this is a gd vid bt wen we went people wer tellin us dnt take our phones out

  • nice vid

  • What airline was this?

  • Air Canada 767

  • its north american

  • oh my god id be terrified if i were on that flight....the ocean looks too close to the plane...im sure its perfectly normal but i would be scared all the same !

  • best video ive seen of landing in mbj good quality just remines me of the memories of ja
