Does his wife/back up singer actually sing ? Saw the show in Montreal and damn I could swear she was just there dancing and holding the microphone. Looked like a poseur to me.
What? Why? He was highly entertaining and showed more energy than a lot of the other hipster acts that got booked. And I thought he sounded pretty damned good, too. My camera may not have picked that up all that well but really there's so much to be said for actually _being_ at a show. I don't think you have anything to be embarrassed about.
I was at Lolla all weekend...and Perry was super fun to watch. Watched all of Satellite Party's set and watched Perry do a three song set the Mindfield stage on Sunday. I love his glamtacular outfits, and he is an awesome Fest Daddy. Love Perry!
you are truly an embarressment to the music comminity. My husband and I met Perry after a show in Philly. By far, the most gracious, most appreciative of his fans, and very down to earth. He is LOLLAPALOOZA. He started it, Remember?
