  • The biggest joke of all are foreign stock markets.

When is the Afghanistan stock market gonna come out? Will we be able to invest in the Navy, Marines, Predator drones, IED's, Taliban forces??

  • Notice how any and all publishing news houses like CNN, MSNBC, LA Times, etc, all of them, they always ADVERTISE the stock market?

I'm getting a little more in depth here though, a lot of the stock market advertisements you read are actually news articles that make the stock market sound like it is an actual, real investment medium.

Basically, any news article you read that insinuates that it is good to invest in the stock market is actually an ADVERTISEMENT.

  • Yes, the stock market is rigged. It's a scam for the "Stock Market" owners to make all money for themselves.

P.S.- Any and all individual investors: notice how you all lost money? Notice how the market starts doing the exact opposite of what you invested in? It's one of the stock market operators getting to work on YOU.

  • My father taught me this when I was a boy, the Stock Market will always take advantage of people who don't know what they're doing.

  • Take the money out and buy silver

  • Isn't this called wash trading? Which is illegal and unethical?

  • Without any rules, no shit people are going to find ways to extract money out of the market. If robbing banks were legal, more people would be doing that too.

  • Could a good savings account/ebond beat the stock market ?.

I'm 100% useless with numbers look nationwide examples

5 Year Fixed Rate ISA £1-£9999 at 3.75%

    5 Year e-Bond £1-£9999 at 3.04%net p.a.%

and you can have more intrest at higher amounts of money put in.

  • Fractional reserve banking caused the collapse.....regulation only focuses on the symptom, not the cure.....think about it, if the printing press wasn't in full swing, the money would have never been there to loan.

Has anything been regulated in a way that is truly productive?

You can't run from inflation no matter how much you regulate

    It's the money stupid!

  • The one guy says you buy low & sell high to make money. Not necessarily. That's old school thinking. Traders that work at his level also know how to make money even when there are losses. (I know a guy who does oil futures in his boxers from home, and he makes money regardless of which way the prices go.) The game is fixed to those that know the game. Average investors are patsies, like the ones that bought stocks being touted by their brokers who all the while hid their true garbage status.

  • The creatures who harvest the real wealth from the stock market (REALLY OBSCENE AMOUNTS OF WEALTH) don't play by the rules the other 90% of us are made to play by. Why? Because they own the thing. THE WHOLE THING. They only allow us to dabble so we think we've got a stake in their game; but regardless of how much play money they "let" us walk away with, they know they own that, too. What's theirs is theirs, and what's ours is theirs, too. Thng is, if we ALL refused to play, they'd have nothing.

  • END THE FED!!!

  • yes

  • any person who now supports a pension scheme that invests in the stock market cannot complain when it all goes wrong. we all know whats happening so stop supporting these people

  • We need regulation and oversight of Congress. Problem is, the regulators and most of Congress are just as corrupt.

  • Not wall St. Our Government and our so called congess. Gov and congress are Rigged by the industrial military complex, oil, the other major corperations and of course wall st. Wall st. is nothing more than a symptom,a symptom of unregulated greed, hypocracy clothed in political correctness. Our gov and the elections for wich we have to thank for our currant crop of crap aka our elected officials they are the ones Rigged. Americas getting sold and Americans are getting fucked.

  • The Great Recession of 2008 after the Republicans had had total control of government proved once and for all that the Republican approach doesn't work.

NFL games, NBA games need rules and referees. When you have rules, real competition is possible. Without rules, you just have catastrophe.

  • @ReliableInsider

The irony of the Republican Party being opposed to rules is that, when it comes to social issues, they're obsessed with rules, and imposing rules that make no sense on other people such as attempting to ban gay marriage or abortion following incestuous rape.

Anarchy for the super-rich. A social dictatorship for everybody else.

    Ridiculous.

The Republican Party IS NOT the answer.

  • ropes and pitch forks

  • America has no credibility. America isn't built on credibility anymore its built on greed. I have heard a talking head on TV say that so and so "can be trusted because he is greedy." That is the yardstick of Wall Street. Nothing can change until the objectives of Wall Street change back to producing jobs in stead of producing a few billionaires while the rest of America suffers.

  • I wouldn't say its rigged. Can you manipulate it? Yes.

You can only do so much "rigging" until people realize that a stock is cheap or expensive. Stock manipulation doesn't change how much money a company makes.

Companies lying about how much money they make is a different story.

  • The problem is that crooks are not prosecuted they are rewarded. The SEC, CFTC are supposed to oversee these crooks but do nothing besides watch porn.

  • @chocomalk You are absolutely right! Gov’t Regulators have also snorted cocaine & had sexual affairs with oil companies! Leaving these sick perverted people to regulate their crook buddies, is like letting hyenas watch your children. Thanks to people like them; the economy will soon collapse, the U.S is engaged in several wars(illegally), they are planning more wars, they have poisoned the gulf of Mexico(with oil and corexit), spend more on military(51% of BNP) than education and health care etc

  • NO SHEET

  • Slow the system down. Stop the use of the computers. Bring back the regulations. The market should be about creating good paying jobs for Americans not creating huge profits for a few gangsters on wall street.

  • Yah think.Is wrestling rigged?lol

  • Does a bear shit in the woods?

  • @tickhound That's why I got out of the market a while back. Because apparently bears do shit in the woods.

  • @chkdg8 hahaha, you guys are killing me, hahahaha!

  • @tickhound hahaha, nice...

  • Funny whenever business commits crime they throw out the job creation excuse.

  • Comment removed

  • um, yeah its fucking rigged. banks invest "money" they create themselves using fractional reserve policies and real people invest money they earn from their labor. When the market is doing well, all the regular people start buying in. Then it goes down and the regular people lose their earned money (where did it go? somebody got it.) And the banks only lose their fractional reserve created funds. Our whole monetary system is broken.

  • Lol please don't spend 8 minutes of your life watching this.

    The answer is yes

  • wall street bought washington along time ago, what good would it be calling a congressman ?

  • GICCC = Ghostable Interface Controller/Crasher Chip. It's a technology. It's a chip. You can't find it because it looks like a chip. Winning is a game of "who controls the bias".

  • Q: Is the stock market rigged

    A: Yes

  • I saw the title and Lol'd.

  • Actually they should just finally put a tax on wall street.

  • destroy all the sooper compooters

  • @Cypress77 And tax up all d'em rich fellas too.
