i can get mine like theirs pretty good with a line 6 spider 3 amp. i play on the insane level. another way to get em good is to practice them for like 5 minutes a day for like a few weeks. i did this, found the sweet spots for them on each string and got em real good like KSE

the pros dont use the metal zone, and rarely any pedals.

90% of the tone u hear is the amp, go meet the band, they'll tell you the same thing!

plus in this video they are just using some small tube combo amps, not their stage rig. there are no pedals being used at all. just a straight dirty channel on the combo amp.

dude just so you know, the ibanez tube screamer is an OVERDRIVE.

there is nothing hi-gain about it, it provides a mild boost to your clean signal for some dirty swampy tone, but nothing like you hear in the KSE catalogue.

the tube screamer is a blues pedal at best. the tri-axis rectified amps are what give them their high gain death tone. not to mention their tuning to C for some extra beef.

the amp is the end all be all to anyone's tone. if you like the sound, chances are it's a mesa.
