  • i love clicking on ign reviews and seeing all the dislikes and the comments about how bad cod is lol

  • Actually that middle finger from Duke Nukem was meant for you IGN. You guys really have no fucking clue what Duke Nukem is supposed to do. The game is supposed to be fun to play. Have a few laughs during the game. Its not supposed to be realistic. Grow a fucking brain and realize some of the jokes that are in this game.

  • Say what you want about this review guys, the game is BAD animations were BAD this game has been in the works for years, personally I don't even think it deserves a 5.5 probably 3-4 would be more accurate

  • @Jok3ster699

Lol, that's your only justification? The animations are BAD? Typical modern gamer graphics whore.

  • Comment removed

  • How does this game feel dated and Call of Duty isn't?

  • Add that and the fact that almost every modern FPS game has adopted these gaming mechanics; regenerating health, two weapon limit, etc. So why hate on Duke using them as well? Do you expect Duke to be like he was in the 90's? I would bet if Duke Nukem Forever stayed true to the old school shooters, then reviewers would be bashing the game because of difficulty, health packs, larger weapon limit, no sense of direction or objective, and is too confusing.

  • It find it humorous that a lot of reviewers have been lashing out towards the jokes and humor in Duke Nukem Forever, or even worse, towards Duke's personality. In all honesty, any of the reviewers bashing Duke because of making jokes on current FPS standards, and then the game actually uses the mechanics in game, what is the significance of this? Why does it matter? Simply put, it doesn't. It's a joke, humor, and it's funny. Take it with a grain of salt.

  • this guy is just jealous of duke, explains why he is such a hater

  • can only carry 2 weapons? halo anyone?

  • @randomer24700 and cod

  • IGN don't like it? good will be getting this tomorrow then!

  • Lets be real if the game was ANY good, it world of gotten a 9.5 -10.0. And then u would have been complaining how overrated it is

  • this game wasn't that bad people, theres lots of tits in it

  • @FOoMan777 dude calm down...its a matter if opinion and if he says its a crappy game, thats what he thinks. Besides, he did point out some good points abiut iy being outdated. but again thats my opinion

  • @MyWolfclaw

What you need to realize is that this IGN reviewer can influence the purchase of thousands of copies. In which, it's more than just an opinion.

  • Well said...

  • Not everything is a fucking imitation!! God, every time a new game comes out, it is instantly compared to something else. Every game gets its inspiration somewhere, God of War wasn't the first of its kind, nor was CoD the first FPS, so stop with that! It makes you look very ignorant (not trying to do a generic IGN joke). If the game is fun, then that's that. What else matters? Its a fucking game!

I felt like I needed a good rage today, and I stumbled on this, CONGRATU-FUCKING-LATIONS BITCH!

  • Of course dey gave it 5.5 we all have moved on in the gaming industry bt if dis game would have been released back then den it wouldve gotten a better review....example- If Brink wouldve been released in the times of the PS2/Xbox Then brink wouldve been the best game bak den

  • @zombiekidd616 Thats the whole fucking point, old games and concepts dont fare well in todays world

  • @zombiekidd616 ya brah i no wer ur getin. What the fuck is wrong with you're grammar!?

  • Look. Duke Nukem is an AWESOME game. Its hilarious. But dont go hating o ign. Everyne rated it beloew 5.5. And besides, i know this revew is bad, but they just did their job and gave it a revew. So just go and play the game.

  • @Wasup265 bulletstorm was a pretty good game lasted me a while but duke nukem forever sucks bad the graphics outdated it's too linear and don't get me started on the load times.

  • @SportsFanatic0051

You just contradicted yourself. You liked Bulletstorm, but then you complain about Duke Nukem for being to linear, even though Bulletstorm was incredibly linear. While I do agree with you about the graphics, I just really, really don't give a flying fuck about graphics. I don't think anyone should, besides, they aren't that bad anyways, the alien designs are cool and everything looks crisp on the PC. Load times I agree with though.

  • @robertsfunny1995 Alright. because all there reviewers have been acting like it was the biggest piece of shit ever created.

  • If you faggots thought this game sucked so bad why did you create so much hype for it?

  • Is this game really as bad a everyone make it out to be?

  • @doneystoney No.

  • Alright, don't listen to IGN, this is one of the best shooters on the market next to Bulletstorm and maybe Darkness 2....but that's not saying much! Duke Nukem Forever is a slightly above average game, but compared to complete shit like MW3, RAGE, Assassin's Creed:Revelations, Dragon Age 2, and Final Fantasy 13, this game is a fucking masterpiece. I would recommend this to you if you finally want a break from the constant stream of shitty games IGN and Gamespot are shoving down your throat.

  • @wasup265

Oh wait! I forgot Serious Sam 3. Now that's old school in a sense, just like Duke Nukem is old school "in a sense". I honestly think Gamespot and IGN and Giantbomb and Xplay all used this hype as an excuse to say the game sucks, and with all the fanboys ready to tear Gearbox's and 3DRealm's throats out because it's not the "perfect game" they wanted, they have support behind those reviews, but notice how none of them review Serious Sam 3. It's because it doesn't have the hype.

  • @CalebCrawford128

You really need to open your eyes man, open your eyes and accept that the industry has gone way, way downhill. The only reason Forever doesn't live up to modern standards, is because these critics are so far diluted into liking this shit, they think these old, fun mechanics and clever level design and enemy type combinations are actually bad.

  • @wasup265 I'm not saying Forever is bad, but the industry hasn't gone down at all in my eyes. Yes there's crap, but there's still good out there.

  • @CalebCrawford128

Yes, but the crap gets unfairly high ratings, and all around decent games like Forever get unfairly low ratings.

  • @wasup265 True. At least some of the good games get high ratings occasionally.

  • @CalebCrawford128

I also find some of these reviewers' reasoning to be downright pathetic. Duke's personality? Oh, but every character in COD don't get points off for having no personality? Not to mention, they talk more about how they don't like Duke's personality, than they do about how the game is actually bad. They talk for like two minutes about the actual gameplay mechanics, then hardly even explain why they are bad anyways.

  • @wasup265 That I can fully agree on. I love Duke's personality.

  • why so many dislikes this game sucks ass for fuck sake dumb shits......

  • @snake9718 ikr

  • This game was awesome.I dont care what other people say.

  • @lostinpowers Your a fucking idiot. I ment that they rate cod games extremely high you fucking cunt. Go jerk off to your justen bieber posters.

  • I really feel bad for you guys, like really bad. You actually believe the same people that gave Dragon Age 2 a 9/10 are telling the truth about this game. Lack of colors and artistic flare? Doesn't that apply to every military shooter ever? The " drawn out filler" as he so describes it, is just there to break up the action and add a little variety, most of these sequences are only five to ten minutes long, by no means "drawn out",and they actually require you to figure out stuff with your BRAIN!

  • What they don't understand is that Duke Nukem was always a joke game, its not supposed to be serious, just funny

  • so what if people like this game it's not for evreyone i like'd it and if people don't like then don't play the game simple as horse shit

  • @Metallicougar -.- what are you?like 12? 13?

  • If you douchebags hate this game so much then why did you create so much hype for it?

  • The that this video has so many dislikes; does that mean that they disagree with the review or do they just dislike the game?

  • Yet another reason why ign sucks donkey shit. They put a 10 on any nintendo game (And every COD game) And when theres a GOOD game they rate it poorly.

  • @beachbum111111 I agree with everything except for the Nintendo part, because they're also pretty bad graphic whores.

  • @robertsfunny1995

They do stamp 10's on every nintendo game. Even if its bad (Mario galaxy 2 was a ripoff compared to mario galaxy 1).

  • @beachbum111111 Well Nintendo games are pretty good.

  • @beachbum111111 They never gave a single COD game a 10/10, you dyslexic queer

  • @lostinpowers

I never said they rsted it a 10 you fucking retard. I said they overrate them. Read the comment before you comment fucktard

  • @beachbum111111 You're dumber than I thought. You SPECIFICALLY said "They put a 10 on any nintendo game (And every COD game)". You can't even read your own fucking comment you idiotic fag.

  • @beachbum111111 your a dumb shit.....

  • @snake9718

    Your a dumb fuck.

  • @beachbum111111

    Your a dumb cunt.

  • @snake9718

Coming from the retard with no videos.

  • @beachbum111111 i dont have any vids?haha you must be a blind dickhead....

  • @snake9718

I thought you were the other dickwad. But you are jsut as retarded.

  • @wasup265 are you blind? It's obvious that not everyone likes it. Actually, the minority is people who DO like it. 2 weeks in and the used game shelf at the gamestop I go to was FILLED with DNF copies and new copies were only being sold for $19.

  • @Jayday12345678910

Obviously where you live, people have no taste. People probably bought it expecting a revolutionary game of the year material game, then got pissed off and returned it. If it's so bad, why does this video have so many dislikes, and why did the game get a user score of 8/10 on Gametrailers(dot)com?

  • @Jayday12345678910

Also, I'd like to point out, one month after the release of Modern Warfare 3 and the shelves in my Gamestop were filled to the brim with copies. One month after the release of Duke Nukem Forever, only three or four copies used.

  • @Jayday12345678910 Just be quiet, let the people who like this game enjoy it and go jack off over what ever you would rather play. This game was a let down in that it wasn't quite what anybody expected it to be but some of us still enjoy it cos its DUKE! so blow it out your ass mmkay

  • I expected Duke Nukem and I got Duke Nukem. You guys expected amazing graphics and terrific character development with a big story.. I love this game. It's amazing!

  • 6,171 people dont have Balls of Steel

  • @123456789haloman

Don't you mean they would have balls of steel, because they're disagreeing with the review?

  • @wasup265 Yeah, no. I got this game on the DAY of the realease. I believe there needs to be a bandwagon before you can hop on one. So stop accusing someone that you don't even know of being something

  • @Jayday12345678910

So, if Duke Nukem Forever is so bad, why does everybody like it?

  • @wasup265 same here this is awesome

  • This game is AWESOME!

  • @wasup265 Why are you insulting me for telling the truth. The fact that you know nothing abot the development history and call me a simpleton. You keep making up excuses on why this game shouldn't be regarded as shit. Get your ass out your head and play Duke Nukem 3D which by all standards, beside graphics, is a better game.

  • @Jayday12345678910

All my reasons are completely true and legitimate. You're just being an IGN fanboy and bandwagon whore.

  • @wasup265 DNF kept getting delayed because the original developer wanted to copy features from trending video games at the time. Including HL2's physics. The problem is that DNF created these sections just to show them off and did so haphazardly. Play HL2 then play DNF and you will see the difference.

  • @Jayday12345678910

Duke Nukem Forever did NOT get delayed just to copy off other games you simpleton. I do not see the difference between the puzzles in Half Life 2 and this. In fact, the puzzles are even easier to figure out in Half Life 2 than in Duke Nukem Forever. Besides, games copy each other all the time. I loved the first person platforming and driving sections in Duke Nukem Forever and Half Life. Forever didn't exactly copy them either (except for one or two.)

  • @wasup265 I don't think you understand that DNF did not execute those mechanics the same way HL2 did. DNF copied those things from HL2 but did not do them properly.

  • @Jayday12345678910

How exactly did they not use them properly? Also, it's incorrect to say that 3DRealms copied Half Life 2, they had a game called Prey out at the time, that was made in the same style. FPS platforming, puzzles, and vehicle sections to break up the shooting, it was all in Prey. Duke Nukem Forever also has different level design than Half Life 2, and the first person platforming is set up in different ways.

  • @wasup265

Prey came out about 2 years after Half Life 2. It was much like DNF, a long project that got passed around to a couple of studios before seeing the light of day. It eventually was released using the ID Tech 4 engine (Doom 3) and suffered from performance issues on anything but PC. It had a pretty original story though.

  • @EVS2585

So, how exactly does this make Duke Nukem Forever bad? Also, the variety? The enemy placement and level design keeps it from getting stale. Did we play the same game? The level design and enemy placement is constantly putting you in new situations, throwing enemies at you from different directions and later combined enemy types that combine to create a better challenge. The charging pig cops combined with shotgun pig cops followed by enforcers and an assault commander? Yes!

  • If this game was good enough for you, then I'm happy for you! For me, it was a waste of $7 rental money. But hey, nobody said we all need to have the same standards. Cheers!

  • @EVS2585

I would play this any day over COD or Halo. Modern day shooters lack what Duke Nukem Forever has and nobody seems to notice it; level design. Duke Nukem Forever puts you in new situations and puts enemies in places you'd least expect them to come charging after you from. Most modern shooters just have the same enemies charge at you from one single direction with a cover system. No thought, no challenge, no fun. Total shit.

  • No, that does not make sense. There are TONS of series with still strong fanbases of series with no games coming out in a while e.g. Earthbound/Mother (mother 3 came out more than 10 years after 2 and had a LONGER development time than DNF and still came out as an excellent product). Reviews didn't say this game sucks because it wasn't like they expected they say it sucks because it DOES. I saw a shit ton of used copies of this game and ones that were discounted 2weeks after the release.

  • there is literally no reason to pay for Duke Nukem Forever. this game is like a retarded child trying to imitate some action movie it caught a glimpse of. sad, revolting, and most of all, disappointing.

  • @EVS2585

Again, another five year old kid trying to get thumbs up by being a bandwagon whore. Nice grammar, by the way. If I wasn't such a rational thinking person I would've thought a mentally challenged monkey wrote your comment by mashing on the keys with his tongue. Your reasons don't make any sense, you're obviously just a little kid who's first game he played was probably that Halo or COD overhyped bullshit. Try a real game and come back here.

  • @wasup265

Yes, I am perfectly aware I didn't use any capital letters at the beginning of my sentences and that my last one doesn't have a predicate. Thank you for addressing my points in such a clearly relevant manner. Obviously, my inconsistent grammar proves that this game is a "real game" and that I'm "just a little kid who's first game he played was Halo". Why not drop the anger and try telling me why you like Duke Nukem. That would be the more rational thing to do.

  • @EVS2585

People are criticizing this for feeling like a relic, a 2001 game if you will. That is incorrect. It is wrong to negatively criticize a game for feeling like a relic. If it is simply made in the style of a game from that era,it is wrong to say that as a negative.Does a movie reviewer have any right to call a film a piece of shit because it was made in the style of a fifties black and white Noire film? Just because we have moved past that type of gameplay, does not make it bad.

  • I agree that criticizing this game for feeling old is unfair, especially if we consider the 12 year production "cycle". We can only speculate about what the various producers did with that time and who is really to blame. However, that is not why I ultimately felt disappointed by this game. If I were to pick my biggest gripe with this game, it would be the lack of "oomph" and variety in gun-play and enemies. Duke or no Duke, the core mechanics bothered me more than any lame rape joke.

  • @TheJoebarnaby

Apparently you hate proper sentence structure as well. I "fought" Half Life 2 had jumping puzzles, driving sections, and physics puzzles, the very same thing this reviewer, and everyone else, is complaining about. So how is Half Life 2 any better than this if, by the opinion of these "reviewers"(idiots), share the same flaws? Half Life 2 did all this stuff and was critically acclaimed for it. Duke Nukem Forever was bashed for it. What does that tell you?

  • @wasup265

I "fought" pasta had meat sauce in it too, so how come this reviewer doesn't like it in ice-cream? Clearly, he must be biased!

  • Does play this game make anyone get a headache ?

  • FUCK THIS GAME!!!

  • i remember years ago that you could preorder this game and i did 15 years later i got the game

  • i remember a long time ago that they had a trailer for duke nukem forever and it took so dammn long to make this game and its not even that good wow i feel sorry for the fan that brought this

  • I can't even BEGIN to think why or how people defend or like this game.

  • @legorocks3 Simple, because this game ISN'T THAT BAD! Ffs Why do SO many people keep hating on it because it's not the next Halo?! This game was in development for more than 10 years, switching hands more than once, a company holding it GOING OUT OF BUISNESS, and then after a that time and probably lost data, you expect it to be perfect? Good god, you people should be fucking glad it even came out!

  • @AngelAngelis I just hope that all you people out there, because of your hate and venomed filled reviews hasn't permanently killed the series. Companies don't tend to continue some games that get REALLY bad reviews.

  • @AngelAngelis Why would I be glad this crappy game came out? It came out when it did, and its mechanics were designed for 10 years ago. It is reviewed on today's standards because thats when it came out.

  • Notice how most people said 3d realms didn't make this game. They actually did if you think about it. Most of 3d realms employees are with gearbox.

  • so you don't like this game huh? that's because you're playing the console version, when i played the pc version and it looked amazing. sorry but i'm gonna have to thumbs down this video.

  • ok, I don't think this game was bad, other than the 2 weapons, it was good

  • hate this game but i buy it 4,99$ on steam! yay ;P that is a price for a bad game. btw i'm a fan of Duke3d

  • The game was bad, but not 'that' bad. Hating it has just become another popular choice. Guys, the game is $5 on Steam for until tomorrow. That's at least worth it - its 5 fucking bucks guys, are you that cheap?

  • SUCK IT CRITICS! Duke Nukem Forever just go the #17 spot in Screwattack's, user voted, best games of 2011. MW3 didn't even make the list. Suck it down haters, suck it down.

  • @wasup265 im sure alot of people never heard of screwattacks lol

  • @Darkfang2u2

Considering they're partnered with Gametrailers, and they're the company that the Angry Video Game Nerd is partnered with, yeah a lot of people have heard of them. People voted, and Duke Nukem Forever made it into the top 20 games of 2011 at #17. The majority of people like this game, and this list just proves that the game is fucking awesome.

  • @wasup265 it doesnt prove anything if its a opinion

  • @Darkfang2u2

It was the combined opinions of a couple hundred thousand people, so I think that discredits all the reviews combined. In fact, all reviews are opinions, so in turn every review doesn't prove anything. However, some of these points these fucking reviewers are bringing up are just flat out lies. Broken gameplay? Please, it's not fucking broken. Boring platforming and driving? They offer a fun little break in the action, they're fun. Weapons not having impact? All lies.

  • @wasup265 still opinions if they fealt thats it crappy you cant argue with them about it

  • @Darkfang2u2

No, it's not. I've played the game, and if they actually had legitimate reasons for not liking it, I would've accepted their opinions no problem, but half of the points they brought up are blatant fucking lies, and you would know that if you just played it for yourself. These shmucks at Gametrailers, IGN, Giant Bomb, Gamespot, Xplay, these self-proclaimed "critics" are responsible for telling you how to spend your money. This game gets a 5/10, and Sonic FR gets a 7/10.

  • @wasup265

Then explain the Metacritic Score of 4.3/10.

  • @microsf121

Mainstream reviewers.....are....fucking....stupid. Remember IGN's review of Sonic Free Riders? That broken Kinect game where getting past the goddamn menu was a chore? 7/10. Remember the MW3 review? 9/10. Remember the Final Fantasy 13 review? That piece of shit game with horribly linear game-play and one of the worst combat systems I've ever seen in any game? 8/10. Stop embarrassing yourself.

  • @wasup265

Why don't you do research as to what Metacritic actually is before you comment and make yourself look like a moron?

  • @microsf121

I know what Metacritic is dumbass. It's a compiliation of mainstream reviewers giving scores on a certain game. All mainstream reviewers are bullshit however, as Dragon Age 2 recieved a Metacritic score of 9/10, and that game, sucked my balls.

  • @wasup265

There is a critic section and there is a user section. Each with different review scores. The average review score for the user section was a 4.3.

  • @microsf121

Well the rating system for that user scoring is fucked up beyond belief. The average user score for the PC version of Duke Nukem Forever was 5/10, even though the number of positive reviews was twice the number of negative reviews. Something's fucked up there if the positive reviews are double the negative and yet it still gets an average user score of 5/10.

  • @microsf121 thats for the console versions which do suck ass

But have we really forgotten how the scoring system works?

    A 5 doesnt mean a bad game

    Its a mediocre game

Gamers dont apreciate the overall quality of the experience rather they measure its polish and yes as much as i enjoyed DNF it is a rough experience due to its painfull development cycle

We all wanted the game to have been alot better but it really couldnt have

Still im just glad the Duke is back

    Cant wait to see DN5

  • @kea919306

In todays day and age, mediocre can be interpreted as bad. For a $60 game you would expect more than a game that relies on somewhat funny dialouge to make up for the atrocious gameplay.

  • @microsf121 gameplay was fine

It was half lifes style of progression which im used to

I dont hate the first person platforming any more than i did back when everyone praised it in HL

I dont mind the 2 weapon limit any more so than people did in COD or equivalent

Vehicle sections were kinda neat and broke up the monotony

    The interactivity was welcomed nicely.

Do i feel dissapointed by the overall game?

Yes but that doesnt make it bad

The whole game is just uneven with itself

  • @microsf121 it tries to marry elements from every generation of gaming and it simply doesnt do it well.

I enjoyed my time with the game

Id gladly pay full price for this again if i had to do so

But thats also because im alot more forgiving than the average gamer since i followed the development closely

I understand the issues with the game some i can look past and others i cant.

Now GBX can now see what people desire from a Duke game and to not fall into the same traps 3DR fell into

  • @kea919306

The main problem I had with the game is that the trailer released back in 2001 showed a completly different game. Where's THAT game, that's what I want to play.

  • @microsf121 believe me everyone asks that question >_>

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • This kind of butchering is a 5.5? The 1-10 scale truly is dead. 5.5 means BETTER THAN AVERAGE!

  • So many people who fall for this rubbish. So many people who think that merely having a different theme makes it different to cod when it doesn't. THIS GAME IS'NT DUKE NUKEM. This duke's an imposter. The real duke wouldn't allow any weapon limits, regenerating health, or turret sections in his games. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for thinking this game is good

  • @sergeantpepper42

None of that stuff actually makes the game bad. It was never trying to be like Duke 3D.

  • @wasup265 i think thats why the game suffers though :/

i like dnf warts and all but it did made me long for the days of the golden age of shooters

I can only hope the next game will be more a mash between DN3D level design and interactivity and fun weapons

SS hordes enemy variety and scope

    And Bulletstorm-like combat mechanics

Also interesting co op modes are apreciated

  • @kea919306

Yeah, but contrary to popular belief, SS isn't exactly old school itself. True old school games didn't have waves and waves and waves of a bunch of bad guys thrown your way on a completely flat and open landscape. Old school shooters were corridor shooters in which the challenge came from smart level design and enemy placement.

  • @wasup265 oh yeah i know that

ironically enough the last game i played whos shooting mechanics and level design were reminiscent of games like Doom quake and DN3D was actually Bioshock if you can believe it

Im not referring to Sam as an old school feel because it isnt old school(more like old school custom maps if you wanna get technical about it)

Im referring to it because what it does best is magnitude which Duke can really use in the next game

  • @sergeantpepper42

Actually, it's nothing like COD. All COD does is funnel enemies down a straight path for you to kill. Duke Nukem Forever employs actual level design. Enemies with different weapons, attacks and attack patterns (Pig Cops run, gun and flank, Octobrains circle strafe at varied speeds, Jetpack Troopers teleport...) smart enemy placement (example, there's a part where you see three Pig Cops, so you rush at them and two Octobrains jump out of the water behind you)

  • @sergeantpepper42 The gameplay is not duke but the character is still all there. The game isn't GOOD but its not entirely bad either. The game engine itself is actually really fluent and plays quite good, its just that the game keeps wanting to interrupt you for story chunks or puzzle. This game would have been amazing if it was like old school duke formula. I bought this cause i thought there would be a map editor for this sort of thing but sadly no. Its just gonna die off.

  • @sergeantpepper42 Who the fuck cares, be grateful they even made another game in the series. This game has many things that the previous one didn't even have, enjoy it instead you spoilt little brat.

  • @TheRacious Why should you be thankful they made a BAD game?

  • @Jayday12345678910 Because they would've lost their entire fanservice if no new game from the series would be released. Besides, just because the reviewers didn't expect the game to turn out as they wanted it to doesn't mean that the game in general sucks. New gamers (like me) would probably like this game as it resembles games of today. But for veterans, tough luck for you.

  • @sergeantpepper42

Looks like IGN fans still no absolutely nothing about games, like mr. sergeantpepper limp dick over here. Oh, it wasn't exactly like the old one? Well it was never trying to be like it in the first place you ignorant minded fanboy. You wanna bash a game that DID actually market itself off as a sequel to the old one and turned out to be a piece of shit? Go flame Dragon Age 2. It's still a good game, it's nothing like COD. Shut the fuck up.

  • @sergeantpepper42 wow douche, maybe duke nukem should still be 2D and 8-bit to satisfy you. IGN (and most other mainstream review sites like Gamespot) are often blatantly forgiving or harsh in their reviews depending on which gaming companies are popular and/or paying (mostly paying) them at the time. It's not the same as Duke Nukem 64 and thankfully different from that Zero Hour-pile of crap. It sure as hell wasn't the next Halo but Duke Nukem Forever was pretty damn good.

  • @sergeantpepper42

    AMEN!!!

  • IGN critiscise graphics in this, but they gave skyward sword a 10. They continue to give the modern warfare games near perfect scores while ignoring games like battlefield.

This is a duke nukem game. We wanted one, we got one. So IGN need to take thier heads out of thier asses and enjoy it.

  • @theawesomemark1 I agree with that... Look at CoD, that game doesnt bring anything new to the table, Its more like an 0.5 update instead of a full sequel and you can bet on it that the next one will make lots of cash and it doesnt even have to do anything. While games like like DNF have to work their ass off. DNF gaved me this nostalgic atmosphere that I loved and missed past these years, sure the game looks like shit but if its fun and thats what counts.

  • @AshPeace exactly. DNF is pure fun,its nostalgic, its awesome. But IGN don't like it because its not modern wafare. I'd bet good money that the next cod will get at least a 9 despite nothing changing AGAIN.

  • @theawesomemark1 DNF does have its downside, for example its interactions are sometimes so crappy or simply not working well that in makes you rage. Another thing is that because of games like CoD the game changed, for example the running or the number of weapons you can carry is just (facepalm). If DNF would not be aware of the gaming world of today, we would have a Great Oldschool title that would be simply epic, yet we didnt, its a fun game but, well, could have been better.

  • @AshPeace yes it had its downsides, but so does every game. Battlefield 3s campaign could've been better, skyrim has bugs and glitches, saints row 3 had 2 endings which could confuse saints row 4 and also killed of the only character left from the original, and call of duty had all the same problems from last year because its the same game.

Yeah this game could've been better, but it was still great, and IGN are making it out to be shit when its actually really fun.

  • @theawesomemark1 or this guy justed didnt like the game and is trying to express his opinion to us

  • @theawesomemark1 so true, you CANNOT spell ignorant without IGN

  • Hey IGN, GRAPHICS DON'T MAKE A GAME ASSHOLES

  • @theawesomemark1 cant spell ignorant without ign

  • @DevilDark192 lol

  • It's all about the babes. I mean, it cool and all, but it just gets vulgar after a while. But don't criticize him for narcissism an one-liners, it's what makes him somewhat appealing. I'd give it a 6.5 to a 7.
