This is awsome! If I could just hang out with you for a few hours and ask you some questions about what all your doing it would be the shit. If you could explane what all you did as easly for a noob to undestand as possible what how is your setup done? I have an exponet with torq and know how to scatch and xfader tracks with kinda the same bpm and do some efects here and there but my mixes sound shity and i suck. Basicly im a wanabee badass like you but dont know what all im doing..
how come your LED's in the middle are not working or are not on? Sometimes when using Torq everything works fine but they dont turn on, and sometimes they do? Can anyone explain why?
Awesome mix! Really liked it. Im about to buy the Torq Xponent and Ableton Live too. If you could PM me the settings or how you managed, I would be realllyy thankful! Cheers!
I would like to request that tutorial video - mapping the jog wheels into Ableton. I currently have the M-Audio X Session Pro and Axiom 49 hooked up to Ableton Live 7 LE... I had a Hercules RMX but was disappointed with the controller itself and the lack of controls overall... would kill for a Xone 3d though...
i am a proud owner of xponent and recently i have installed Ableton live 7. i am pretty amzed by the stuff in this video. i did a rewire thingy into live7 but i have zero knowledge in it.
Im really phyched on your video but I want to see more. Ive been using ableton for a while now and love it. I just got the xponent a couple weeks ago. I would love to see more demo videos from you using the two together rather than torq. How are you cuing individual songs? What about creating loops of songs using the xponent?
i bought a sample/loop library and my question is, can i load/use these bass, guitar, and drum samples from my library with torq xponent or trigger finger?
Actually the trigger finger were only used for controlling the "instrument chain", haven't utilized the pads cause there's already to much paramters i already setup for xponent against ableton..
I'm not gonna say that xponent was the BEST one for this dj controller + soundcard category ( mostly cause of the construction, durability & materials) but its just SO fun to have a layout thats looks a bit like XONE3D (minus the extra vol. fader) but it's much more compact and cheap..
i been djing for 7 years now and just started using xponent and have thoughts getting a trigger finger. recently i been watching a lot of soulwax stuff and thought it would be fun to do live sets too.
Nice setup! Many people that I work with, including myself, use the Xponent when we spin on laptops. Great surface for DJ performances.
