i got a weak psp here (i think) i dnt know about this system thing..
my system software is only version 6.20 and i want to play games that can be saved in my memory stick (ISO files)..can i still use this demo to directly upgrade it from version 6.20 to 5.00 M33-6?? thanks bro!
Sorry for the late reply. What version is your PSP and what kernel is it running? Also what boot mode is it set on? All can be found in recovery mode.
dude btw.............. do you have any vids or links for updating cfw from 5.00 to 6.00? i want to download the latest games so...... if you do it be a great help thanks :)
dude on ur previous video of putting cfw on psp where does the m33-2 come from? The stick u put the files in? And do u use that memory stick now for ur games and saves? Or do u only use it once? or shud i buy two mms, and use one for the files and one for the saves and games? plz reply back, i reli want to put cfw on my psp but im not sure, thanks
M33 stands for Custom Firmware. -2 stands for version 2 of 4.01. The memory stick is called Magic Gate. Yes, you can then format your memory stick and store all your games and saves on it. The memory card can be used unlimited times. Once you flash your PSP, you do not have to store any files on the memory stick. It flashes the motherboard. What version is your PSP and what is it's firmware?
@Braxton619 so after i put the files in and put the custom firmware on, can i delete the files or shud i just leave it there? and also to answer ur question, mines a psp 1003, official firmware 3.95.
Yes you can delete the files once you flash your PSP. They are only for the installation. Your PSP is also compatible with CFW. This method should work just fine. This method will not work with 3000 or Go PSP's.
Yes, I haven't used my PSP is a long time but you can update to the newest firmware by dark_alex. I love 5.00 M33-6 though. In my opinion it is one of the most stable firmware's ever.
Dude all i can say is thanks. Your TUTORIAL was the best i got around. I already hade v4 but i followed your steps to v6. Now when i get my memory card i will be able to play tekken, naruto or kingdom hearts. Thanks so much.(subscribe and favorite)
