  • some of these people are brainwashed and some of them know that this is all bullshit, but there just doing it so they can survive

  • "america has no idea how to deal with us"

    really?

how can they say that when half the nations population is starving, and the size of their country is barely the size of 5 states in america?

they obviously are living in some fantasy where their country is equal to china or america, but they need a reality check.

  • Countries like these need to die out so they would free up natural resources.

  • @blah1311 LOL! Go on, explain.

  • @MentosMan727 LOL

  • The brain washing is bad yes, the starving kids yes.. BUT! the up yours theory.. is brilliant! now if they can say ABOLISH THE GOV it would be perfect they can controll the police and armys just like we can and should . We can grow our own food and all that.People did it back than and guess what? they lived longer, happy and where healthy. They may be brain wash but! we here in the states and other places are worst than they are I am sorry. If anything the whole worship thing is here also,"CHANGE"

  • I hate what they are doing to those kids! They don't deserve that! Can you imagine pretending that you like someone that you want to die so you won't be killed?! I don't believe people should commit suicide but damn...

  • If Lenin was alive today, he would be disgusted in what Kim and his father have done to the korean people

  • I wonder i north koreans jack-off to there great leader

  • this is not to let asians in america they will take over and turn it in to a commie shithole!

  • if a person suffers malnutrition between the first 5 years of life, that person is going to have low brain capacity for the rest of his life, in other words he will be considered stupid forever.

  • @vitoscience yes. Which makes NK so unacceptable.

  • God save North Koreans :(

  • I wish Americans could be as united as this. Not in the brainwashing sense of course. All it takes to weaken our resolve as fellow countryman are some low low prices on some tv's and its an all out war.

  • they have to say all that... or they will be killed

  • I am japanese-american, i know that the japanese empire has do many horrible things to the korean people, i deeply apologize for these atrocities and hope our government will say the same,i am also sad that north korean people are separated from their brothers and sisters in the south and are suffering under the horrible regime, i hope our countries can be friends some day and i hope that the north koreans will be free :) i know this has nothing to do with the vid but i had to say it to kroeans

  • maybe... just maybe... grandma's crying because deep down she knows its a BS answer to lisa's question.

  • Eventually his soldiers will get old and the new generation will have to join. But they will be too weak or too small to fight. The Great Leader will screw himself over for neglecting his people.

  • 'The USA doesn't know how to deal with us.'

so true. america is afraid, the ROK is afraid, but not because of juche. i wonder if the people know that we aren't just scared of the nukes, we are scared of China as well.

  • Can anybody tell me how theres a mercedes in North Korea?

  • "Pick up the phone fucker!"

  • Wow... Um... What is wrong with these people they suffer because of him it makes me sad.

  • i can not believe how brainwashed these people are..

  • I cannot believe this is the same world, as an American I don't agree with any of the wars Israel has forced us or trust my government but its certainly better than this, North Korea is a concentration camp.

  • North Korea is not a country - it's a concentration camp.

  • There all blind... blind of reality.. let them be, we shouldnt help the enemy.

  • its not that there brain wash the poor people have no choice if they did they would of made the right one long time ago

  • 3:06 a little over-dramatic, dont you think?

  • This is terrifying. The fact that they so absolutely believe in Kim Jong Il and how dedicated they are to him. This makes them such a formidable opponent. You can take away their food, weapons, and even their Army, but if they truly believe in this (which they very apparently do), it'll be hard to convince them otherwise. We can charge in there guns blazing, but I doubt it'll shake their faith.

  • @wasabi622 they believe at the point of a gun, expose the North Korean people to the West and they'd drop their beliefs really fast, most of them anyway.

  • He is a demonic psychotic whacko Tyrant!

  • this is a difficult situation, because it is not so as simple as to killing their dear leader as to freeing the minds of their people.

  • the state of affairs in North Korea is so sad, and unjust, but it's very interesting because it shows in a way, how religion is so powerful. For example you could see in the last clip how the handler had been indoctrinated to love the Leader... "He is in my heart". You can see how this is done in Christianity and Islam. Praying to Allah five times a day, produces the same brainwashed effect as you get in a dictatorship.

  • are you serious!!!!!!!?????????

  • Too bad US didn't win the Korean War. We wouldn't see such nightmare!

  • Don't those uniform pajamas that children wear at 1:30 remind you of some other place in some other time under some other tyrant half way around the globe 65 years ago. And left leaning commie pinkos like to condemn capitalism, free market economy and the USA

  • government 6:35

  • health care 0:45

  • patriot act anyone?

  • I hope that his son will be a better leader and open the doors to let the outside world in so we can help these people.

  • I watched one about China, the children are brainwashed and desensitized, made me cry so much.

  • they really can't say, "People disappear when they go against the supreme ruler" coz they would never be seen again.

  • Government mis-management----- sounds familiar.

  • Proud citizen of the USA!

  • As they're talking to that family I think that they are saying the opposite of what they really believe. Like MrDanschuler said, they are crying because they will never be free enough to speak their minds without being killed or sent to a concentration camp for life.

  • north korea is like a chihuahua, their bark is worst then there byte. from the way things are going that country will probably end up destroying itself.

  • 엿 먹어 이 미친 북한 쌕기들아. 전젱을 안하도 너의들 죽어가고 이잖나. 김정일이 쌍년이햐!

  • this place fucking sucks. cant believe people a re treated this way

  • MP reading message at 5:14 has an Aggie Ring. Whoop!

  • I wonder if they actually believe this, or if the government came to their house beforehand to instruct them on what to say.

  • @Shadoessa They would never say anything against their country, their government or their dictator. They know that if they did, terrible things would happen to their entire family. They'd either be killed or put into a prison/concentration camp for life. I wouldn't be surprised if they would even torture them. It is sick and disgusting what is happening over there.

  • fuck the USA ... let north and south korean kill eachother ...

  • @mexicanzombie69 you live in the usa.. and the U.S are allies with south korea, and as an ally you have to help

  • @mexicanzombie69 Did you use both of your brain cells to write that comment?

  • @mexicanzombie69 I agree.

  • y do these pppl love him like he god even tho they kno all the bad shit he done to them

  • These people are sooo brainwashed, I'ts very ironic that they are doing this about blind people

  • @jessgal4480 isn't it "clear" we [the west] are helping the blind so they can see and in more than one way.

  • @jessgal4480 True... Unfortunately, they can't see the irony (grin)

  • @jessgal4480 And you think we're not brainwashed about aspects of our civilization?

  • How can human beings be so brainwashed?

  • @ryanb113n Ask the US that...

  • @ryanb113n its quite simple

  • Was she really expecting any other answer? She learned long ago that a favourable response to the government ment she was better fed. I highly doubt she actually believes what she says, but to say otherwise means her family will live like the rest of the North Koreans.

  • Hard Core Communism...

  • @GhostRecon756 They are totalitarian authoritarian communism. The Communism Marx envisioned, has never existed. But that's a completely separate issue.

  • just blow the sucken country off the map with all you dummies. even a rat knows when it's time to leave and defend for itself

  • the North Korean people are being brain washed...

  • Wait 15 years and invade this shit, they will have no army anyway.

  • 'we have a strong arm of unity which is stronger than americas atomic bomb ' Wonder if Japan said something similar..

  • Everyone thanks the Kims, but no one thanks the doctor who actually performed the surgeries on his own time and dime? Damn.

  • ughh. pretty soon people will be saying 'in north korea' jokes like they say the soviet russian jokes.... 'in north korea... this joke is pointless! i'd be dead if i lived in north korea!!!'

  • fuck the leader he and his son enslave the people, but they keep loving they

  • 1.) I think i would want to be blind if i lived there and not see this hell.

2.) one person should see south korea and compare to north.

  • @678999821 Yes, but that's the whole thing. North Koreans CAN'T make a comparison and contrast between the two because their "Dear Leader" has successfully kept outside influences out of the country. They are told "you live in a paradise" and there is nothing from the outside to inform them and spoil that illusion. It's the most repressive totalitarian state in the world's history - it's pretty sad. (Many of them have never even heard of rock music, if you can believe that.)

  • north korea is a f dictator country

  • Americans trying to BS world audience as usual? lol

why the fuck do americans care so much? Its not their country and the North Koreans have all the humanitarian rights to live to way they chose to. who the the fuck does americans think they are?

Just because North Korea in not an imperialistic/capitalist society, americans have problems and curiosity that might kill them. Its Korean society and way of living, if americans dont like it they can fuck off simply.

  • @kaisar1 fucking commie. go move back to north korea. go voice your opinion while sucking kim jong-il's fat chode. its people like you that ignore the problems in the world and argue how 'politically correct' they are. bet you say the same things about the jews and our involvement in WWII.

  • @epikbeast so you boo me cause i have an opinion? you think you care about this world while roaming around youtube videos and leaving your comments once in a while? lol

This world was never perfect i guess, not from the start to be very particular. Who the fuck does America thinks it is? It got fu*ked up in Vietnam and now in Afghanistan and Iraq simultaneously. You know, thats what America really deserves for poking its nose in everyone else's business. A double ass clap!

  • @kaisar1 U.S didn't get "fu*ked up" in Afghanistan and Iraq. They did what they set out to do and the last combat brigade left Iraq in August.

  • @mplsmn1975 they fucked up big time and retreated like they did in Vietnam. And they were supposed to get to the oil reserves and yes, they accomplished that successfully.

What they left behind is called civil war if you know what it means.

  • @kaisar1 "Retreated" is usually a word that is used when someone leaves the battle before it's done. The soldiers left Iraq because they said there was nothing LEFT to do. But I have no problem with you having an opinion or even hating the U.S. Most of the world does. We're pretty used to it.

  • @mplsmn1975 battle was never finished i guess. WMD were never found, Saddam got executed, a democratic govt never got established, civil war prevails. Atleast people were living a regular life before America fu*ked it up internally. America kept lying to Americans about the death ratio of Americans vs Iraqis.

They retreated cause it wasnt possible for Americans to fight Iraqis on their home ground. For soldiers its was some Call of Duty version but it turned out to be a total chaos.

  • @kaisar1 I am not disputing nor agreeing. But would you mind telling me where you got that info? I'm curious to see that about our casualties. Our country fought Iraq before and we were out in six months. (Desert Storm.) The mission was a little more involved than to just kill a bunch of bad guys this time. The U.S. ousted Sadaam and helped install a Shiite gov't. We're told to mind out own business and yet when something doesn't work out somewhere else, it's our fault.

  • @mplsmn1975 its like i'll take a dump in your backyard and would runaway with you in agony and desperation. America 'invaded' a sovereign country called Iraq. Just because it needed more oil. Stop supporting the American doctrine of 'what we do is always right'. America sent their arms troops inside a sovereign state and you are justifying it with sentence like we were told to mind our own business? lol

It wasnt your business until a first american soldier stepped into Iraq.

  • @kaisar1 hahaha i pity the fool that talks shit about stuff he doesnt know. i also dont give a shit about a guy who knows less about the war in iraq than a 14 year old does. please. talk to me when you have an immediate family member in war. then maybe you wont have such a mouth.

  • @epikbeast i pity that this other guy has some sense to converse while you on the other hand taking credit for something you arent personally involved. I doubt the kids they sent to Iraq werent older than 14 years and thus got their ass kicked badly. The reason of someone like you take pride of being NOT involved in such conflict??

    lol

  • @kaisar1 apparently you're wrong and here are a few reasons why. But no worries, you have your right to speak as anyone else does.

You believe that the right thing to do is to leave countries alone while they obliterate each other to smithereens. But this is not the right thing to do. For example when Haiti was in devastation, people never thought "Oh fuck it they can handle themselves". US should get involved in North Korea and free the minds of their people because it is the right thing to do

  • @kaisar1 What are you talking about? When I said "We're told to mind our own business" I wasn't justifying anything. So I don't know what your sarcastic little "LOL" was about. You talk as if Iraq is some peaceful nation who were just victimized by the U.S. U.S invaded Iraq because Iraq invaded our allies (Kuwait.) The conflict goes back farther than 2001.

  • @mplsmn1975 Allies in what? Let America access to every oil rig in middle east? America invaded Iraq cause it feared that oil wells in Kuwait might get out of their control. I dont know why 2+2 for you isnt 4 anymore. Strict denial and reasoning every odd that exists against america by brain washed CNN generation of america is now taking it toll.

Accepting mistakes might make people at least forgive america, but denial's a bitch. You think the hell up that suffered cause of america's invasion?

  • @kaisar1 hmm.... i just so happen to be an army brat... my dad's in afghanistan right now... and im moving for the 14th time this summer. so while you sit back and argue whos involved and whos not on youtube, my dad's protecting your skinny little ass and everybody that lives in the US. douche.

  • @kaisar1 and wtf you have horrible grammar. what are you, a foreign? you have no right to be talking shit about the US if your not FROM the US...

  • @epikbeast the right word in your sentence should be 'foreigner', not foreign. look whos talking about my grammar.

  • @kaisar1 lolz as if i care. keep on trollin'

  • Not surprised at all. The would better shoot a film about how Jews rule the USA and how USA occupies sovereign states.

  • I am angry! Why we dont do something about a wors basterd then Saddam? Probably not enough oil in North Korea, i am a shame of my own people...

  • @vliegendehollander55 Because North Korea has nukes that they WILL use if we even attempted to oust Kim Jong-il. Nothing to do with oil.

  • @mplsmn1975 But there was also WMD's at Iraq? Still it was attacked? Nothing was found though.. Do you think that there is nukes that could be a threat in N.korea or is it just because there is no oil, no need to attack and "help"?

  • @Janzcu As far as Iraq goes, it seems that you answered your own question. But about the need to help, I can at least tell you that we have tried to help NK by sending food relief during the famine. Their government gives it to the regime instead of to the starving people. Anything the civilians did get ended up on the black market and they ultimately had to pay for it anyway. If U.S attacks, the world criticizes and calls us imperialists. If we don't, same thing. U.S. is criticized regardless.

  • if this leader die maybe things will be better i dont know

  • @verrrr1 He has chosen his youngest son, Kim Jong-un as his successor. Unfortunately for NK, that could possibly make things worse, or stay the same - I don't really know much about this upcoming dictator. But he'll likely rule with an iron fist like his father and grandfather did.

  • @mplsmn1975 oh my gosh, so that means it will just continue generations, untill generations.

  • @verrrr1 Well, you might be right. But the system over there will ultimately collapse before too long, just like the Soviet Union did. Their economy is dead. People are starving. It's only a matter of time.

  • Seriously we are all brainwashed to a certain level.

  • Incredible how the human brains work and how LOTS of people are brai washt all over the world ....

  • i know there are a lot of factors why we should not do this but if north korea puts one nuke near the west we we freakin burn the country to the ground. send futurisic drones and drop nuclear bombs on the capitol. or just send an assasin to kill the kim family. then the country will collapse.

  • If there leader is so great why cant he feed his people?

  • @theabomation and decent medical care

  • @theabomation Because due to the big famine that they have right now he can not supply his people with the food he only gives it to his army.

  • @theabomation their*

  • Damn i am half korean and i am sad to see this imagine how wonderful if south and north were united

  • and if kim dies, he will be a martyr

people dont seem to be understand that he is a beloved god in north korea

killing him would make the country collapse

the country is dependant on the kim family

  • @tomatowitharifle no the us should not attack north korea and make the population suffer, the people of north korea has not done anything wrong

  • @Xerdux ok if they have not done any wrong then why they trying to ecsape then

  • 7:25 Propaganda house...

  • I wonder how the Great Leader likes those sketches on Mad TV where that hilarious Chinese guy puts on the wig and the coke bottle glasses and makes him look like a complete idiot. If you're reading this and you haven't seen what I'm talking about... brother... you're missing some funny shit.

  • I wonder what will happen to this korean family along with future western humanitarian programs, once the NK government sees this documentary. Good job Lisa Ling on this sensational story but was the human cost really worth it?

  • atomic bomb???? lol okay, i think america has more than atomic bombs lol

  • Okay,If people are trying to escape their own country theres a problem! And whats up with the megaphone?! Thats ridiculous that they have to use a megaphone to tell North Korea to pick up the phone for a meeting.God, I am so grateful that I live in the U.S.!

  • The guy talks about the greatest leader in the world yet he probably doesn't even know who runs the country to the south for comparison.

  • that family is either completly brainwashed or crying cuz they know unless they say exatly what the gov has told them to say, they will be tortured & killed......

  • north-zombieland

  • Somebody grab a sniper rifle, And take him out.

  • @math lol...yeah ur right dude!!!!they dont pay attention in the poverty in there country they instead stay foccused on their military power!!!what if the south korean pay the ussr to attack the north then!!

  • @math lol...yeah ur right dude!!!!they dont pay attention in the poverty in there country they instead stay foccused on their military power!!!

  • so much like 1984

  • USA should have attacked north korea rather than the middle east...

  • someone needs to take that fucking Kim Jong Ill out seriously!! Why can't the U.S just take him out like they did with Saddam!??????

  • @richkid89 cuz they got nukes, and south korea is under threat as well. the threat is far too great and its too risky to wage a war against north korea right now i think

  • @richkid89 I guess thats because US would not get any benefit out of it. North Korea looks like hell, but US is no good samaritan

  • @richkid89 because they have the forth biggest standing army in the world

  • @richkid89 because America thinks the answer to everything is violence. Long live the Taliban!

  • @kinc1967 isn't it the answer to everything? clearly....

  • I do not want my children to fight there in the future, so let them kill themselves.

  • America know how to deal with them, ignore them and let them starv to death and let them all go blind.

  • fucking horrible and terrible!!!

  • i suggested that usa dispatched their forces and wipe out communists in north korea...and kill that kim family especially kim jung ii...

  • lmao koreans are sore losers, all that shit just to get a message across?

  • How did they get all this footage of the border guard stuff? Passing messages, inside that room, etc?

  • @WulfieGotSisu prolly hidden cameras

  • I believe that the senior woman and her relatives

crie not for the amazing event that she will recuperate her sight

but for the fact that they cannot say their minds

  • @MrDanschuler agree. they wanted to say smth which they cant.

  • what horrible scene,

many and many children suffering from malnutrition

thanks to an evil dictator self claimed as god

  • that phone thing was just ridiculous

  • people are starving to death while their dear leader is watching gay porn in his own villa

  • @mathozero jeah and the new gyu choe yong rim is fat where did he have all hes food

  • 6:47 THIS is a privileged family!? this would be considered a lower middle class family in america based on the look of their cramped living space. this family has to sit on the floor for petes sake!

  • they're talking to them and they're just leaving. wtf!?

  • They are all brain-washed.. Great leader my ass man!

  • Most interesting country in the world.

  • Comment removed

  • According to transparency international the US is the third worse police state and surveillance state in the world. It is behind china and north korea. England has the most cameras in the worst and is a terrible police state.

  • @Graham6762

hahaha this transparency international would take that right back if they lived in Washington DC. just ask my friend, he lives there.

  • North Korea is like a country run by Scientology . Just swap the pictures and statues of Kim II Sung with L. Ron Hubbard

  • You tell a lie a thousand times and it becomes true... I hope we all, who don't live in North Korea appreciate the ability to use something as simple as the internet.

I never take a day for granted. The fact I am in my bedroom watching this on my laptop with high speed internet, eating some chips while people in North Korea are brutalized just highlights this even more.

We should stop taking things for granted. It is a privilege to be live in North America or Europe, not a right!

  • @Canadarm123

Yeah though that may be true, it is our right to have freedom.

  • @Canadarm123 Im eating chicken with mint sauce as I watch this video on mah laptop. What kinda chips were u eating?

  • The thing that chills me to the bone watching this, is that it can easily happen anywhere, including the good ole' USA.

Just take a look at the hysteria after 9/11. We didn't mind giving up our rights under the Patriot Act, we were broadcast tons of news over and over about how our ports are unprotected, how terrorists are likely to target small like ferries or buses, the anthrax hysteria allowed our mail to be opened, etc... Just look at England as well. CCTV cameras everywhere.

  • @Canadarm123

All the executive orders are in place. All they need is the next emergency.

  • Is there some way to watch part 2? It's blocked...

  • North Korea is hell.+

  • These 'minders' were probably shot. : /

  • If i was born in North korea i would try to put a bullet in kim jon's head even if it means my death. at least the people won't suffer hell brought up by him.

  • @juan9969

If they catch you alive...You should quickly put a bullet in your head, cause you've just killed their "god"...

Cause in that case, death would probaly be the best thing that could happen to you and your family.

  • @zqewkl So be it. i wouldn't fear death. and i would sacrifice myself and my family for the better of my country. that is not freedom. in the bible says: damned would be the man that put his trust in another man. I only believe in God.
