Both countries voted and approved by more than 80%? not sure about the exact figures but oil field in the middle is still in dispute. North claims it being theirs if the people of that region wants to be part of north and the dispute was over who has the right to vote with southern Sudan.

@05soltom So It's officially approved by people of Sudan for seperation however name change is a bit of dilemma. Southern Sudanese are ok with temperary name for now while Northern Sudan is still calling themselves Sudan. They also wants to change their name but choosing a suitable name can be very difficult.
